My post was not a 'GM is cheating" but a "wow that is BS module writers" for a APL 5, a CR of 8 is considered "Epic". I think you are a good GM, and you have done a great job on flavor.

The Arcanist seemed solely Int.
Swashbuckler is an interesting take on deeds/grit, but to mix fighter and gunslinger, and not give firearms proficiency... You can't have gun wielding swashbucklers in pfs, since you can't take firearms proficiency, and you can't take levels in either base class. That's just lowercase sad.

I do like the look of war priest. The blessings seem easier to use. The strength one for instance can finally benefit the priest or an ally, not just an ally.

It's easy, you go first, Master Hyve goes later. You act, then I post the enemies actions, then you act, and that's it. Your actions are in the order you post them.
If you "miss" a round because you didn't post we imagine your character got stuck, distracted, etc and didn't act in the round.
