Seth Saliss |
@Shabah, I think you may have done your damage wrong in your last attack. You didn't actually roll any dice
Seth jogs up behind Umberto. He's sure the priest can heal himself, but he also doesn't want him to fall before that. He places a hand on his shoulder and offers him a bit of healing energy.
clw: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Shabah's Warform |
Definitely true - I was just noticing that when I went in for the copy paste. Correction: 1d8 ⇒ 6 So 2 less damage then earlier calculated
Shabah grunts in displeasure as their fury is blunted by Tsomo's excellent defenses. But as the rest of the Pathfinders close in, Shabah is thrilled to take ruthless advantage of his distraction.
Bite (PA, Bless, Flank): 1d20 + 10 - 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 10 - 1 + 1 + 2 = 31
Damage: 1d8 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 3 = 18
Claw (PA, Bless, Flank): 1d20 + 10 - 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 10 - 1 + 1 + 2 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 3 = 13
Claw (PA, Bless, Flank): 1d20 + 10 - 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 10 - 1 + 1 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 3 = 11

Seth drops his bow and pulls his sword as he steps up to slash at the crazed Tsomo.

Tsomo dies ... the blood loss finally forcing him down.
His death means that he will not have to face justice in the courts.

After you describe what happened to the guards and Lileone you are even more recognized as the heroes of the city.
Lileone thanks you for all that you have done, swallowing her pride to apologize to Zahra.
Razethka covers any monetary damages caused during the chase and heartily thanks you for the entertainment.
GM Nowruz |
With Tsomo defeated and the Glass Pit saved, the Pathfinders return to report their findings to Zahra.
They arrive at Zahra’s residence at the same time as Lileone, and all are shown in to meet with the brash undine together.
Lileone speaks first, exclaiming, ”Your fellow Pathfinders have done well, Zahra. They not only rooted out the culprit behind the sabotage of your expedition, but they saved many lives in Vialesk today.”
She pauses a moment, then clears her throat and continues reluctantly, ”I must acknowledge that I spoke ill of you, and laid the failure of the expedition at your feet. I was wrong about that, and I am sorry.”
This news – and Lileone’s apology – take Zahra very much by surprise, and she raises an eyebrow and says, ”Please, tell me what you’ve learned and what happened.”
Once the party tells the tale of Tsomo’s plot to cause a massive steam explosion of the Glass Pit, and their success in preventing it and putting an end to the scheming malenti, Zahra is clearly very pleased.
”This is good news indeed. Knowing the failure of the last expedition was not my fault will convince Razethka to fund my next one, I’m sure of it. I invite you to join me one my next trip to the shell settlement, it will surely be fascinating.”
The undine, often arrogant and prideful, shows herself truly grateful.

But then she learns that the party has not talked to Honoke, Razethka or the Chailai about the reef and thus they were not able to help in addressing the poisoning of the reef.
Zahra and Lileone put aside their differences and although you Pathfinders did not help the reef, they themselves now take things in their own hands and swim out to assist in this task, confident that their combined effort will be enough to salvage support to handle the damage to the reef.
