Ennoia addresses a prayer to her goddess, kneeling beside Elo's corpse: "My Lady Falayna, please accept my sincere regret for killing this man whose laws I broke - please recommend his soul to Pharasma so that he may find rest and a better life than this wretched one."

Standing up to join her comrades, she inquires about the next step of their search for the Chelish noblewoman. "The Pits? Let's go there, and wish no one stands in our way again, this mission is already far too bloody for my taste."

On their way there, she asks random citizens about the pits, but fails to gain any information.

Allenye reminds the party before setting off for the pits, that this man admitted to kidnapping the noble & selling her into slavery. Therefore he broke the law. I think we should bring him along & turn him in to the guard anonymously. Maybe drop him at the steps of the Constabulary with a note attached? That will keep him dry for the time being."
She also agrees with Ennoia, there has been too much violence already. "Maybe this time we can go in with a plan? Let's pose as slave merchants, looking for a particular kind of slave that only the master Pildapush can supply. That way we don't fight our way in and we might throw Pildapush off his guard."

I know, but these things always hurt my sense of disbelief. One moment we are rushing to get the noble woman out of her slavery, the next we are spending three hours to dump someone at the door of a guard station. Not complaining by the way, and it would be unfair to Ennoia to say that we continue while she is doing that. Should have been more clear in my post.

The guard glares at Alleneye as he is sweats profusely in the afternoon heat. With a grimace he states you don't cause and problems and we will not have any problems As the guard turns with calloused hands and heaves the large iron gate open to the busy walkway.

As the party enters the walkway they are engulfed into the mass of people as hundreds of people of all different races, line the walkway through the vendors. A group pricing out a slave in a window while a large group of people are surrounding an auctioneer as they bid on a younger group of slaves. There are many cages built into the walls of the buildings as slaves in tattered clothing rest in the shade while the crowds speak of them like they do not even exist and are merely objects.

As the party travels a short distance down the walkway they come across a sign swinging on a building . The sign reads “Pildapush Chattel: Absalom’s Finest.” The building has a few visible windows with bars on the interior with a strong front door that has a "Closed" sign swinging on the latch.

Pildapush’s Chattel is tastefully appointed: colorful Katapeshi

a round table through which the shiny top of a hookah pokes,
one braided and ebony-tipped smoking arm per chair. Beyond
stands a large, ornate mahogany desk. Two man-sized oval
cages, bolted to the stone floor, sit behind the desk.

Ruprecht sees a middle aged man sitting behind a mahogany desk going over reports. As he looks up from his reports and ledgers he has a look of utter surprise. How.... How did you get in here?
