To his side is a sizable brownish-red bird with an ornate saddle and a hooded cloak that barely covers its avian head, absently gnawing at a recent kill.

Yeah, I am in the midst of trying to finish printing some maps so I can hit the road.
I will never ask to run 8 slots with 8 different scenarios, including both Specials. My head hurts, and I can't see straight and I haven't got to the con!

I was not sure, so I looked it up...from the PrD...
Multiplying Damage: Sometimes you multiply damage by some factor, such as on a critical hit. Roll the damage (with all modifiers) multiple times and total the results.

Definitely helps with DR situations.

I would agree with that interpretation (and would rule it that way at my own table).
I've been at some, though, where the GM did not see it that way, and I'm personally just not gonna keep arguing if that's how they rule.

FYI, all: I'm at the ER with my mother and I'm guessing they're going to admit her. If they do, I'm likely to be out of commission for at least a few days, maybe longer. I'll check in when I can, but if y'all need to go on without me I completely understand.

Looking at the entries for Fly and paralysis, I don't see what you couldn't direct yourself by thinking.

If you need an action go ahead with Sleep Hex, crossbow or cure wand. I'm holding Flurry of Snowballs for the next group of nasty critters.
Ah, I love Flurry of Snowballs. I particularly like mixing it with Rime Spell metamagic, and perhaps Magical Knack to keep the spell slot level the same.
