Cool. Nice scene so far, should turn out to be a fitting end to the trilogy. :)

Very cool scene. :)
Just to clarify, though...is there any illumination in the room? If no, we'll have a hard time appreciating it! :P
GM Aarvid |
I am not finding any mention of illumination at all...which is a shame. Technically they do not need any, so presume the only light you have is the one you bring. Your light source will extend double as dim-light.
The dwarves of course can see 60' into the chamber...just none of the color.
GM Aarvid |
Incase it was not obvious, there is a "defensive point mechanism" being used based on how many traps you set off, kobold defenders killed etc. So the assailants arrive already injured etc.
Thaia Rossenvelt |
Internet and pretty much everything else has been down since this weekend. I'll try to get caught up tonight.

SeeaOne won't go for the spear until the way is clear.
My question is mostly academic but it could let me make a withdraw & then draw a wand & heal.
Or to simplify.
Mounted grippli can end up 445 ft. away in a single round.
Eagle 'runs' as a full round action (4x80), fast dismount as free action (5 ft to adjacent square). Grippli runs as full round action (4x30).
GM Aarvid |
I think I see what you are saying - but I agree - two serial full round actions would seem "cheesy". I would say at least one action (move or standard) would need to overlap. Although technically you can both be on separate initiatives, so you could perform some combination of a move and readied action or delay.

So for some reason--only the internet gods know why--this game hasn't shown up on my campaign thread for the past few days.... Sapper?!
GM Aarvid |
The site has been flaky all day but otherwise not sure. If it stays up I will get a post up later tonight.
We are close to the finish line so check to see if you have provided day job rolls and PFS # etc. I suspect I will have session posted by the weekend.

"Wieibbit," the grippli says. The skin of her wide throat reddens as blushes under Graxzos compliment.
But it is Thaia's praise that really makes her shine. "Thank you Lady Rossenvelt," the words catch in her throat.
Just a note, your character page lists Wiem as a male grippli. I'm sure being female avoids some of the childish fly jokes, but not that one. ;)
The campaign has completely disappeared from my overall campaign tab and Thaia's specific campaign tab as well. Basically I have to click on her and find her most recent post to see what's up. Weird.
Anyone else run into this issue?
GM Aarvid |
That is odd. Let me know if it persists. I will not close the thread until all have confirmed they have downloaded their sheet (once available)
Yndra Marthaun |
I haven't noticed this, the campaign still shows up for me. Weird...

No problems viewing, for me, but others in my other games have said they don't see the updates. Paizo has been down a lot too, & having site problems due to the large amount of traffic.
Hmmm... One used to need a cursed item to switch genders. Now you just need a first level rebuild :)
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
Oh man, "Playing with Stinkeye" was an option? Well now I feel bad. :P
On a related note...which of those boons (if any) do we get?
GM Aarvid |
Good catch.
1) If you are in Grand Lodge (only), you receive the first boon. Cross off otherwise.
2) Everyone receives the Sky Key boon.
3) Nobody receives the Stinkeye boon (he's dead Jim)
4) Nobody receives the Vanei's Friend boon
The Blade of the open road is interesting, but the price is in question on the forums, so if you are interested, it may be worth waiting/researching the price.
Wiem Weems Finyik |
Which one was Vanei?
Out of curiosity, would the basilisk extract have brought the first statue back to the living?

Thaia goes home and gets the education her parents always wanted her to have and becomes a gunslinger 1/wizard 1. With her new evocationist evocation she buys 175 gp in 1st-level scrolls (magic weapon, magic missile, ear-piercing scream, ray of enfeeblement, ray of sickening, snowball, true strike)--she takes 10 to transcribe them into her book--which along with the stuff in her spellbook (disrupt undead, hydraulic push, burning hands and color spray to name a few) now makes her a bit of a spellslinger. Take that Pathfinder Society! (Actual spellslingers are illegal in PFS.) Her musket becomes her (masterwork) arcane bond. ;)
I might switch back and forth between the two classes for a few levels as gunslinger 3 gives me some handy abilities, then wizard for 2 levels and maybe move to eldritch knight after that, assuming I go that far.

The Society has a library you can access for half the scribing cost. You can copy a 1st level spell for 15 gp (skipping the cost of the scroll).
Yndra Marthaun |
I downloaded the chronicle. Thanks for running these three scenarios, Aarvid. I really enjoyed them, great payoff at the end. And thanks to the rest of you as well, of course.

Has everyone downloaded theirs? If so I will close out this thread.
Good role play with this group made it entertaining.
Best of luck on your next missions. :-)
Wiem Weems Finyik |
Got it, thanks for GMing :)
If anyone has a wizard/magus PM me, I am toying with a spell book trading scenario.
GM Aarvid |
You are welcome. Good luck and hope to see you next time...on either side of the table. :-)

Thanks. And thanks to Aarvid for running and all players (except perhaps Sapper's) for playing. ;)
