The Pathfinders were investigating the recent destruction of Sheila Heidmarch's green house by a recent shipment of Angelic Guardians from Golemworks in Magnamar. After tracking down the creator of the golems, an artificer by the name of Chrysalis Black, they confront the alleged saboteur and a battle ensues. The quick use of deep slumber took Chrysalis Black out of commission early in the battle. This drew the wrath of his pet earth elemental (that he saved many year ago from being bound to a golem) that was hiding beneath the floor boards and burst through attacking the party. It took quite some effort, but he was eventually dispatched moments before Reemis returned with a contingent of guards to investigate the commotion. He appologizes for the trouble and informs the Pathfinders that Black has another place of business that he operates out of his Mother's old house. It is in the Naos district and it is known as the Doll House. He warns the PCs to be wary if they wish to confront Black. "If Black sent his simulacrum to confront you, it is likely that he already knows you have been here. There is something treacherous afoot and I fear you may have little time to waste!"
This is a continuation of Sunday's scenerio since it was cut short. I'm a little new to this format of forum, but message board rp was my first rp game back in 96, so we should get the hang of it. (just doing a search for the codes for text format, embedding, and rolling dice, etc) So, let's get started with a Pathfinders in Pittsburgh Role call!

Reemis pulls Chevar aside as he is about to leave. "One more thing, before you run off, my fine feline Pathfinder. If I may speak with you in private for a moment about your master. I have checked our records and we do not have a file on this person who you are inquiring about a commission. I would prefer to interview our customers directly to know who it is I am dealing with. You understand, of course?" Reemis clears his throat as he pulls out a piece of parchment and quill. "Now, what is the name of your Mistress again?"

Irritation enters Chevar's expression as he is pulled to the side.
"I see you are a little too smart for your own good," the beast brood says with a fake smile. He takes a quick look behind him before once more looking at his target. "Maybe it is best if we are both direct here: You have a portrait of a certain individual we both know. I find it would be in your best interest to hand it over before something 'unfortunate' were to happen."

Reemis is taken aback by this most grevous insult. "I beg your pardon, but my relationship with the Paracountess was purely a private matter and I don't simply hand over my personal collection to any pistol toting Horser who tries to strong arm me in my place of business." As Reemis walks away, he points at the golem guards that accompanied him. "And if you think those pea-shooters scare me, just remember, MINE ARE BIGGER!" Reemis departs. His guards remain behind to search through Black's workshop.

Options now:
1. Go back to Heidmarch Manor and rest. This will give you all a chance to recover your spells, but your target may have already had time to escape. Or he may have more time to prepare for your arrival.
2. Go to the Doll House. Even a quick detour to stock up on scrolls and ammunition would probably not deter you from getting the drop on your target. Catch him quickly before he learns you are on his trail.
