Ok, I have the scenario and have read most of it. I can safely tell you this is not the final encounter, but only Part B so there is much more to go.

Which one is the map we are on now? i cannot seem to find it.
I can't link the battle map at the top since Poblano is the thread owner, so I have included it with every initiative reset. That's the place to look for it.
I will be traveling for the holidays from 12/22 through 12/30. I do expect to be able to post during that stretch, but it may not be able to be daily.

Moving any discussion about the bullrush over the deck here. The bullrush rules state you cannot knock a victim through an obstacle but in this case, the push is over the railing rather than through it. In my imagination, the gunwale railing is probably 3' high or so, which would still allow the halfling to be flipped over it if hit hard enough. I gave a -4 circumstance penalty for the railing and position (probably would've done -2 for a man-sized opponent) and it still succeeded. Since Wilen falls 20' to the boat below, he will take 2d6 fall damage, unless he makes an Acrobatics check to avoid the first 10' of damage. Technically, it looks like he lands on Nylthe but I will assume that her position in the boat is relative more than actual and skip that part. I would also give Wilen the chance to avoid all the falling damage and end up in the water, but I assume a few HP is better than swimming and drowning rules...
I'll hear any arguments why this won't work but back it up with reference if possible.
Also, I assumed that Wilen had no melee weapon and therefore no AoO on the rushing Red Pirate, but if that's wrong LMK. Would've been lots easier to just make a melee attack, but this seemed more in the flavor of the moment with some dirty tricks sea-dogs.

Don't really have any ideas to the contrary (and I'm fine with how it happened), but out of curiosity how did you decide on the flip-over-with-circumstance penalty ruling?
I looked at the forums, there is a post on what bullrush can and cannot do, and it was recommended and agreed to unanimously for a bonus/penalty on bullrush over a railing. So I just went along with those posters. Granted it was not a developer opinion, but there seemed to be no one arguing to the contrary (for a change). Probably would've done it just about the same at a live table with no look-up as it just feels like about the right penalty.
Glad it worked out mostly ok; seems a bit more cinematic.

Not sure who keeps rabid dogs for pets, but the ones in the pit were so infected. When Aconite got bit, he failed his Fort save and so has this disease brewing. It has a 9 week onset period, which should be WELL outside the scope of this scenario, but you may want to spend some money on a cure on Chronicle sheet at end.
