So the plan is for Mogmurch and Poog to throw fireballs at him while Reta charges and hopes that Chuffy will follow?

Chuffy says:"Charging big ogre, might not be smart..he hit us before we hits him..maybe we shoots at him with arrows and bolts?"

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

"Ooh, ooh, I has better idea!" says Mogmurch as he takes the necklace off. "There be three fireballs in this necklace. Why don't Chuffy and Reta each throw one of the smaller balls? That wayz, we all hits him with fire!"
Essentially, I keep and throw the 5d6 sphere and Reta and Chuffy each throw the 2d6 spheres. That way, we all hit him with a ranged attack first.

Scarab Sages

One small problems with that is; The spheres are detachable by the wearer (and only by the wearer), who can easily hurl one of them up to 70 feet. But you can use the gourds to do basically the same..same damage/save DC ..you just need to be a bit closer 15ft instead of 70ft

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

My bad. Those two spheres of 2d6 are actually 3d6. So I can't detach them and give them to the other goblins, though? If not, then I guess I can just throw them all over the course of a few rounds then.

Poog has 3 charges left of his wand of fireball. so yes. we will BBQ this ogre before he gets a chance to do anything

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

Alright, let's do this then! Everyone get into position and let's light him up!

Scarab Sages

Init Pa: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Init Chuffy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Init Poog: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Init Reta: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Init Mogmurch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Pa spends some time healing himself with a wand while you make plans after a few minutes Pa stands up and set the tip of his spear on fire and gets ready for a fight

When the sphere drops all heck breaks loose.

Chuffy is the first the belch fire all over Pa Fire damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10 Reflex save Pa: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 but even though the big orge doesn't dodge out of the way of the flames it seems as none of the fire is actually touching his skin.
In return the Ogre walks over to Chuffy and tries to stick him with his spear To hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 but fails to connect.

I've put you on the map where it would have made sense for you to start(e.a. Reta within a 5ft step of the range of the gourds 15ft cone, same for Chuffy and Mogmurch and Poog further away due to the longer range of the fireballs. If you feel you should be somewhere else, please feel free to adjust

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

Mogmurch holds his position and flings the biggest of the fireball spheres at the ogre, doing so in a way that the blast misses Chuffy.
Fireball: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 6, 4) = 18

Reta waits for her companions to throw their first volley of fire, and then rushes forward to join in the melee. After all, if Chuffy's flames did not hurt Pa, how would her flames be any different?

Moving in to help set up a flank for Chuffy, Reta swings her new, big ogre mace at Pa.

Reta won't be of any help with what she has unless she engages Pa in melee, since he appears to have some kind of fire resistance. So, she has to charge in! Even if he gets an AoO.

'Mwk Mace Attack': 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 (+2 if considered flanking from current spot)
If hits, 'Mwk Mace Damage': 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Before Rita charges in, he will rather use his sonic burst. Fire not workin on big stupid ogre head!
1d8 ⇒ 6
Dc14 or be stunned

Scarab Sages

Reflex save Pa vs fireball: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Fort save Pa vs Soundburst: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

AOO vs Reta: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 Damage if hit: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 + Fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Pa get's hit pretty good by the fireball, some of the flames start to burn his skin even though most of it is stopped before it can reach him. He takes a bit of a nose bleed from the burst of sounds..but it doesn't slow him down.

Reta then rushes forward and get's smacked on the head by the Ogre before hitting him in the knee with a masterwork morning star wielded two handed (You are not using dex to hit with it, you have to use strength so no Weapon Finesse ..so only a +5 to hit)

In return Pa stabs his spear once at Chuffy and once at Reta
To hit chuffy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 Damage for Chuffy: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 + fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
To hit Reta: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Seeing as fire doesn't seem to work on this ogre, Mogmurch will move up and fling a bottle of acid at him, taking care not to splash Reta or Chuffy in the process.
Touch attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Big mean ogre stab Reta?! Reta not like being stabbed. Reta prefer to do stabbing and slicing and hitting. With a small feral growl, Reta steps to the side, and prepares to strike once Chuffy moves into flanking position. "Reta smash big ugly ogre. Reta use big ugly ogre head as a bowl when Reta big hero!"

Readying to attack when Chuffy is in flanking position.

'Mwk Mace Attack': 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 (with flanking)
If hits, 'Mwk Mace Dmg': 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Scarab Sages

Poog summons fort another burst of soundFort save Pa vs stun: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 but the Ogre just shrugs of most of it

Mogmurch throws a bottle of acid hitting the big ogre right on his skull helmet

Reta and Chuffy set up a flaking row of death! but Reta fails to get through the Ogre's armor and Chuffy to hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 has similar bad luck

In return Pa sticks his spear out again at both Reta and Chuffy
Attack vs Reta: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 + fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Mogmurch then flings another vial of acid at the ogre.
Touch attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Well, is there any way to get some healing on Reta? If not, she'll probably be joining Chuffy next round.

Reta stands toe-to-toe with the ogre, badly beaten and bleeding. However, she realizes she has nowhere left to turn, other than continuing the fight against Pa.

'Mwk Mace Attack': 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
'Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
If hits, 'Mwk Mace Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

If Crit (doubt it), 'Extra Crit Dmg': 1d8 ⇒ 3

Scarab Sages

It does not confirm

Chuffy throws a bottle at the mean ogre hitting him in the shoulder..the resulting splash of acid rains down on Chuffy's corpse maiming it even more

Using the ogre's distraction as he gloats over the thrust he used to stab Chuffy Reta manages to get a wicked blow in on the ogre's shins

Wow... goblin healing... Poog blames the wand

Scarab Sages

uhm..according to the map..it will take Poog at least a double move to get anywhere near close enough to Reta to heal her. Also that movement would provoke from the Ogre. You might want to change your action

Ha! I was going to say 'nice try' Poog; but, great job, Poog! Sound Burst paid off!

Sensing blood in the water, Reta makes another swing with the mace, trying to smash more ogre flesh, before circling around the beast and moving closer to Poog.

'Mwk Mace Attack': 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
If hits, 'Mwk Mace Damage': 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Rita! get here so big chief can make hurt go away! While big ugly ogre thing isnt not attack Rita!
Another sound burst!

Scarab Sages

Mogmurch manages to get a real good hit in on the ogre it knocks it's skull helmet right from it's head..Reta is unable to do anything other then bounce her "mace" of the ogre's though armor ..but Poog manages to bring the ogre down with another burst of sound...You are unsure what was louder..the burst of the sound or the impact the ogre made when he laned face first onto the ground. As he falls the fire at the end of the spear goes out.

The ogre has a wand, a gourd and his flaming spear

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

Mogmurch will take the spear. As he lifts it high above his head, he he says "Now, where was we? Oh, yeaz! Lights the house on fire!".
Mogmurch then walks over to do just that.

burn! burn! burn hiz houz!

Scarab Sages

So just to get this clear...you want to burn down the house without first looking inside? ;)

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

Well, when you put it that way, we may as well look for loot first.

Scarab Sages

The door into the house is stuck..but with some combined effort you manage to get it to open DC 16 strength check - I'll just assume Reta takes 20 on it since you're not in a hurry

The floor of this filthy chamber is made of rough floorboards.
Numerous gaps between them show a dark space below the building. A large pile of furs and straw is heaped to the south, and a huge trap door sits in the very center of the room. To the west, a single ill-fitting door hangs askew on a single hinge.

To the west:
A huge, bloodstained table sits in the center of this filthy kitchen, and to the south lies a heap of furs arranged in the rough approximation of a mattress. The place reeks of rotten meat from numerous poorly executed taxidermy projects that lie scattered around the room, including partially stuffed pigs, birds, bobcats, and even a goblin body with a mass of bloody straw and sticks protruding from its neck instead of a head.

The stuffed goblin corpse; the headless goblin body is, in fact, the remains of Chief Gnawsparrow. His body still wears what turns out to be;
+1 shadow studded leather armor.

If you go up to the second floor;
The dominant feature of this room is a large bed—really nothing more than a nest made of old mattresses, loose straw, and mud.
The fleas swarming on the “bed” are obvious from several feet away. A large hole in the western wall opens out onto the lower roof of the house, and a single trap door sits in the ceiling above.

Among the clutter in the bed are scattered 275 gp, six gourds of fire burping, a cage containing a dead wolverine (the wolverine still wears an amulet of natural armor +1 around its neck), a sack of straw with a gold needle lost in it (the needle is worth 100 gp), and a large, badly made, taxidermic dire corby.

You gather all, go outside and while you try to light the house on fire starting with the straw that's underneath it you find 6 very large eggs.

Slowly the house starts to burn and you watch it go up in flames with glee.

So you want to do anything else here? (or move back to your new tribe?)

Sovereign Court

Male Human Nerd/7

Nope, I think that's it for me.
With the ogre dead and all of the shinies taken, Mogmurch sits and watches the house go up while he continues to stuff his face with raw bacon from the dead boars.

Scarab Sages

After having a nice lunch with a lot of bacon you pack up all that you carry and head back to your new tribe.
When you arrive the tribes goblins cheer. The Birdcrunchers already viewed you as heroes for your performance in the dares, but returning from the Munchmeat farm victorious secures your role in Birdcruncher history as the greatest goblins of all time—especially if you return with enough gourds of fire burping to share with the tribe!
