"It is all very strange, to be sure. But I see no reason to leave it here, so we should bring it back. Let's look around and make sure we aren't missing anything else, and take it and our poor friends body here and head back to town.

There is nothing else of interest in the cavern though as you carry the seedling through it you notice all the plants start to shrivel. When you arrive at Mercy, the sheriff approaches you, his face full of
horror, and asks, “What have you done? I cannot allow you in Mercy anymore. Leave, before anyone else sees you.” You notice that all the plants in Mercy are also shriveling.

The return journey to Katapesh is largely uneventful, though Nira attracts strange looks and mutterings from other people who see her. Venture-Captain Roderus requests that you provide him a detailed account of your journeys and discoveries.

Belinda recounts all they have learend, and suggests that the socieyt might want to look after Nisa as one of their own.

"....and so... that is what we did. I'm still not sure about this seedling. Maybe some society druid can puzzle it out?"

Thracius lets Belinda do most of the talking on the report, stepping in occasionally to cover facts that they discovered about the plants. He encourages Nira to keep to her role in the society, though maybe as a companion.

"Yes, the Seedling seemed to be much of the cause of the powers in Mercy, I fear they may be more weakened than before. The society may not be welcome openly, but the place had a strange vibe to it."
