You spot no traps at the next door and open it. There are no traps at the door behind the first either, so you open the second door as well.

This square chamber is covered on all sides by strange canisters, chains, and metal tubes. Dusty statues and the shells of slumped-over constructs are lined up against the walls next to the strange apparatuses.

Khismia and Vyk both heal Vyk, healing almost all of his wounds.

Kawrock sends a bolt of flame at the golem, but the bolt hits the wall instead.

Vyk casts a spell and attacks the golem twice. His first attack bounces off the wood golem, but Vyk's second attack hits its mark. The wood golem crashes to the floor and stays there.

A search of the room turns up nothing, so you decide to move on.

The ceiling of this hemispherical room is shaped like a massive dome, with the tallest part of the chamber reaching over sixty feet in height. Smashed glass orbs and various metallic baubles litter the ground, their sheen hidden under a thick layer of dust. An ooze consisting out of some kind of metallic, liquid metal moves near the door to the west.

Gah, the plant pulled a Columbo on our group. I can't believe I missed two melees in a row! GM, does this thing weigh more than 25 pounds? Tuich is a Metal Mystery Oracle and it'd be a shame not to use Heat Metal as an attack! (Though the description states "metal equipment" so by the literal wording it might not fly?)

@Tuich: The spell lists 'metal equipment' as a target, but all it does is heat metal up. I really don't see a reason why you couldn't heat metal that isn't equipment up. That'd be rather silly. So I'll just put it under creative use of spells.

The ooze moves a little more into Vincent's direction. Its body stretches as it extends its reach and tries to slam into Vincent. The ooze misses, though.

Vyk shoots an arrow that travels through the entire room, ricocheting against every surface it can find, before it hits the ooze.

Vincent eyes the ooze carefully and goes total defense.

Miko moves up and dumps more acid on the creature.

@Khismia: Yes, an ooze is just a pile of slimy stuff which you can't critically hit. No places that are weaker than the rest of its "body."

You shoot another volley of projectiles and spells at the ooze. All of your attacks hit and the ooze turns into a puddle of mercury.

Combat's over!

There's absolutely nothing of interest to be found in this room and so you move on.

You open the door to the west and find yourselves in a long corridor that splits off. You first follow the main corridor, which turns out to have collapsed and ends in a pile a rubble. You head back to the intersection and head south, where there's another door.

The door's locked.
