The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

Ok, Opal hasn't posted since Monday (in Discussion). Hopefully she'll pop back in before the combat's over but I'm going to skip her for this round.

The Sea Witch unleashes his attacks on Karasu.

mwk spear: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

mwk spear: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

tentacle: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
grab: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

tentacle: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
grab: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24

mwk spear confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
crit damage: 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (4, 5) + 8 = 17

Initiative:

1. Ackuda, Badr, Karasu, Talathel, and Opal
2. Na-Kraka, the Sea Witch

Karasu squawks and goes limp as the tentacle wraps around him!

Stabilize: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13 vs DC 18

hp: -9/21 *I'll die if I don't make the next check.*
Could we maybe GM-bot Opal instead? Pretty please? :)

This will hit the baddie too, but whatever.

Talathel calls out the powers of good then steps up to the witch. One serrated blade weaving toward the soft flesh of the creature.
smite evil (unless detect evil determined not-evil last round) (AC 25 toward witch), move (AoO?), single attack.

sawtooth: 1d20 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 3 = 15, dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 5 = 15

Opal moves to engage. Smite Evil!
    Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 3 = 13, miss I think.

    GM:

Sorry about that. If you are willing to take the above as my first round action, then the second round would be thus.
    Trip: 1d20 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 3 = 12
    Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 3 = 22, Damage: 2d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (5, 6) + 3 + 2 = 16

    The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

I'll add in Opal's attack as first round action: Opal moves up and attacks but can not hit.

Whoops, sorry Karasu. Your header showed full HP so I thought his attacks only brought you to 0. I probably wouldn't have done that if I'd known you were that close. But it's all fixed now thanks to Danyn so we'll keep moving.

Smites will not go off, sorry. He is not evil.

Danyn channels to save his fallen comrade, unfortunately healing the Sea Witch in the process. Talathel moves up but is unable to hit.

    AoO tentacle on Talathel: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
    damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
    grab: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

Badr takes aim but the Sea Witch dodges the bullet. Meanwhile Opal rears up for another swing and hits, although she is unable to trip him. I assume the +2 damage is from smite, which will not work, so I'll take those off. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Initiative:

    1. Ackuda, Badr, Karasu, Talathel, and Opal
    2. Na-Kraka, the Sea Witch
    3. Danyn

    Na-Kraka: 36 dmg

    Ackuda is up!

Not a problem, that's what I get for charging in like an idiot with a shocking grasp loaded on my sword :) The first tentacle would hit since my AC is -2 for the charge. I wasn't sure if the last one would hit or not since I'd be unconscious at that point etc...either way it's all good stable now.

"Heeheehee, Octopoid one. Don't fear to look me in the eye!" Ackuda says, closing one eye and pointing at the Witch.

Evil Eye to grant -2 to Saves for 8 rounds. DC 16 Will reduces it to 1 round.

    WIll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Ackuda give the Sea Witch a nasty look but the man simply laughs it off. He once again attacks.

    Initiative:

    1. Ackuda, Badr, Karasu, Talathel, and Opal
    2. Na-Kraka, the Sea Witch
    3. Danyn

Na-Kraka: 36 dmg, -2 saves for one round

    You guys are up!

    The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

Ouch. At least Talathel is level 6 and should still be up if his banner is correct.

    Oof!
T was down 2 before Danyn's channel so 33 leaves him at 24/56. Is Opal (& witch) grappled?

Even as divine energy closes some wounds Talathel shouts, "Don't do that again!" The brass mantis puts both blades to their dance.

    sawtooth1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27, dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 and
    sawtooth2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17, dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
    also swift action for Lay on Hands 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9 3/5 LoH, new HP 33/56.

"Hah, two can dance that tango!"
    sawtooth1 confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15, dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

    The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

Danyn heals his tengu friend while Talathel's blade bites into the octopoid man and brings him to the ground.

    Out of combat!

His only gear included a mwk spear. However, he has treasure in the room: assorted coins, pearl of power (2nd level), elemental gem (water), and a silver raven figurine of wondrous power.

The Celestial Song continues, the book laid open upon the altar.

I'll get the session reported and chronicle sheets out as soon as possible.

    The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

Having defeated the Sea Witch who sought to steal the Celestial Song for his own nefarious purposes, the party is able to close the ancient tome and end the ritual. Ollysta Zadrian and the other religious scholars in the Pathfinder ranks instruct the party to place the covers of the two books together, safely binding them and preventing a torrent of fiendish servants escaping. The Pathfinder Society confiscates the tomes for study and research, although they agree to allow you all, as rescuers of the two tomes, access for your own personal study.

Congratulations everyone! Hope you all had fun! Hope to see you all in more games in the future.
