Alrighty. I don't think Seelah's encounter matters to mine. But hidden anyways.

Spoiler:

Using My Longsword (Full Power) and burying my Corrosive Dagger +1 (Force Trait, of course), in addition to Kyra's Blessing.
Big Swing: 1d12 + 1 + 1d8 + 1d6 + 1d10 + 1d12 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (5) + (1) + (8) + (11) = 27
Bury my Steel Shield for the Perm Close Effect.


I will discard the Sage's Journal.

I will keep both a Blessing and a d6 card off my deck for the VIllian fight.

Then fighting the Demonling

I will d6 from my deck (Teamster) to the BYA check (Using my Charisma as a special ability

BYA: 1d10 + 1d6 + 0 - 0 ⇒ (8) + (4) + 0 - 0 = 12

Demonling: 1d10 + 1d8 + 4 - 0 ⇒ (4) + (3) + 4 - 0 = 11

And we are successful! That was by the skin of our teeth. I promise that I didn't rig it, but it couldn't have worked any closer with the Villain showing up as the last card that we could have had. There was a Spiked Pit Trap which, if defeated, would have allowed one more encounter. But the other card was Full Plate which would have been nice to get but would have meant that we wouldn't have found the villain.

I can't get my ally (no Craft and Charisma d6) so if we want to banish the barrier, we need to banish all of the allies.


Sometimes it's worth seeing who needs a blessing. An Ally each is nothing to be sneezed at

I have knowledge for mine and could give someone a blessing.


I'd probably need two blessings to get it for sure. I've got one, so I'd need someone else's.

I was under the impression that if any allies were not acquired, all of them had to be banished. I had not considered the interpretation that you may keep any acquired, but if you do you cannot then banish the barrier. Which one is correct?


From the way it reads, it's not a may "banish all allies"


I had always interpreted it that you could keep the allies and not banish the barrier or banish them and banish the barrier.


No, that way you can just use it to keep farming allies. It would actually be better to keep missing one roll
