Massive orc swings at the bear that Ilona attacked and with one stroke of his cruel blade decapitates it. The bear for an instance remains standing without it's head, and then just turns to a mound of shadowy whispers chased away by the sunlight.

Sorok gets off work in 4 hours. He says he'll post after that.

Next round. Sorok will have two actions to play.

Monster stretches its hand and for an instance shadows gather around it, but then they turn into lightning that flares toward orc wildlander and beautiful Sarcossan. 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 5) = 14 Kiron and Ilona DC 19 to save. Kiron made it.

If someone takes out a bear before Chops turn is up, he instead attacks the oruk. If that is the case he gets another +2 to the attack roll. On my previous attack, I for some reason had that Chops gets a bonus to hit and to damage. The oruk should take 2 hp less damage from my previous attack.

Ilona charges the bear on the left flank, running diagonally to keep it between herself and the others. Blade as black as night, gems filling the shadows with a violet glow she swings, a wide swwping arc that descends with the certainty of a sunrise, silver edge gleaming wickedly.

Even as she battles the feindish creation she locks eyes with the demon, promising death.

Demon is target of her distracting ability, -2 to AC, reflex saves and skill checks. And yeah here's hoping those bears do their jobs as bodyguards and go after Kiron.

Sorok's second swing hits one of the bears straight to the head, but the beast just shrugs away the injury and prepares itself to attack the dwarf.

As she feels Gillian's healing power flow through her she breathes deeply. Time seems to slow, the action around her in crystal clarity. She can feel the combined will of her group guiding her movements.

Ilona's stride seems to move with an almost supernatural fluidity, her inhuman grace seeming to take the very air along with her swing, the trailing amethyst glow and gleaming silver fang of her sword seeming to rend the shadows before her as Requiem's song hums through the air.

It is one of those battlefield moments that a warrior remebers for the rest of their lives.

I didn't name the target on purpose since if someone drops another bear before her turn, namely the one Chops just wrecked, that blow is meant for the bastard who just hit her with lightning.

Gilian moves to Ilona and lightly touches the warrior back. Her bone item glows for a second as her healing power is released.

Yes, I have. The bear has a few hit points left. Not much, but he has a few.

Solvistania judges the bear that absorbed the blows from Ilona and Chops, not to mention Sorok, is very close to destruction. She calls on her war magic imbued by her white bone item to finish it off. Cast Magic Missile at the wounded bear, 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Another bear turns into shadowy tendrils and disappears.

He should be, by the rules. But no, I'm gonna let him go and attack Kiron, giving Sorok AoA.

Ilona is correct, it does provoke an AoO, unless the demon makes a concentration check.

Also is Sorok still wounded, or was Kiron hit for the damage?

Yes, it does. It basically functons like a spell, but without vocal, somatic or material content. But it provoques AoO

Ragnar raises his hands and shadows and smoke rise in front of the bears behind them gathering into a pair of skeletons, which immediately strike and interpose themselves between himself and Solvistania. He sweeps an arm out, moving both himself and the small elf-maid back out of the creatures reach. With the other hand he releases his longspear and draws his blazing blade.

The spear drifts on unseen hands to the forming skeletons, one of which grabs it and thrusts savagely at the demon-bear.

Cast Summon Undead 2 for two skeletons. 5' adjust back taking Solvi with. Free action Mage Hand delivers spear to skeleton Eyvindr.

When the demon's spawn appear behind Ragnar and Solvistania, Chops feels the air grow cold as the heat energy is sucked out of the surrounding matter and pushed against him as the air is displaced by the materializing creatures. He turns back and sees them form behind his ally and his...he doesn't know what yet. But he knows the source of the summons, and now that the path is clear with Solvistania's magic arrows, he moves into the demon in the form of an oruk and attempts to bring it to his knees.

Sorok bloodies the bear's snout and Ilona and Kiron chop away at the demon's body, leaving it in bloody shambles. Beast inside it wails like a cold norhtern wind...

I forgot that Chops gets an extra move action after attacks. If possible, he would like to use it to pull his hatchet out of the oruks head.
