As per the discussion thread, I can't get to the map to see where Douena is. Can she move up to Lorenz to Bit of Luck him before he shoots? If so, I'll do that.
Unfortunately, she's just a little too far from him to reach him in a single move. She could reach him with a double move, but wouldn't be able to use Bit of Luck. Only Urza is close enough for her at the moment, since all the others have moved away.
I'll see if I can figure out what's going on with the map.
Lorenz Aeryson
Halfling? Anyway, the map is working fine for me.
Frowning at the distance still between himself and the crabs, Lorenz moves forward and draws his bowstring back, aiming and releasing.
Move to CE-72. Attack nearest crab with bow, -2 for distance: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 5 - 2 = 14
Damage:1d6 ⇒ 3
Navior
Douena follows Makoa and Lorenz moves up to fire. He actually ends up at 60 ft from the nearest crab, which is just within range, so no range penalty, making his attack roll 16, which hits.
The arrow flies into the front of the crab, but only causes minor injuries.
Urza follows Douena's lead and moves up beside her.
ROUND 2
Up Next: Mahjik, Aakif, Giant Crabs, Makoa, Douena, Lorenz, Urza.
Map Updated
Mahjik the Flink
Mahjik waits for the crabs to come closer, then unleashes a flurry of rock as he flings two stones at the nearest crab.
Delay until after the giant crabs (initiative changes to after the crabs), then 5ft step closer and flurry the stones at the closest crab. Hopefully they'll be close enough not to incur a range penalty then, apply an additional -2 if necessary. The stones count as light hammers (1d4, 20ft range increment). I'll post the rolls in advance:
Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Bah - the shots go completely wide. Next time it will be a riff of rock, maybe that'll do it.
Aakif
Aakif fires another arrow at the nearest crab, then moves forward and draws his falchion. Unfortunately, the arrow is caught by a gust of wind and sails well over the pair of giant crabs.
Attack with the shortbow, then drop it and move to CF-74, drawing the falchion as part of the movement.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 - 2 = 11

Attack: 1d20+4-2
That would be 40 ft of movement, so I've put him at CF -72.
As Aakif approaches closer, the crabs continue towards Mahjik's clacking. Mahjik then lets loose with his attack (a 5-ft step would bring him within reach of them, so I've left him where he was). Unfortunately, the shots are unsuccessful.

Map Updated
Lorenz Aeryson
Lorenz steps back and slips an arrow into his bow before firing again. "You're nothing but seafood!"
Five foot step back to CF-71. Attack crab at CC-74.
Attack Roll with Point Blank Shot: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7
Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5
A gust of wind suddenly rose up, sending sand into Lorenz's eyes and the shot went wild. "Cayden's balls!"
Mahjik the Flink
Don't know when I'll post again tonight, so I'm pre-empting Mahjik's actions:
Mahjik feels Douena's hand on him and senses the flow of the universe favoring his actions. He takes a short step forward and hardens his hands around the remaining two stones - using them to make his hands better pummeling instruments - then smashes the shell of the crab before him.
Attack 1
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Attack 2
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
I'm not sure if that is enough; possibly a +2 flanking bonus still applies by the time Mahjik's attacks happen
Aakif
As Aakif readies his sword for the attack, the wind kicks up a swirling shroud of sand around him. As he runs forward to battle, shapes begin to form in the veil of sand -- a hint of a face here, a clawed hand there -- but dissolve almost immediately. When his falchion crunches downwards into the shell of one of the crabs, however, the sudden sandstorm lurches forward with him and dozens of ephemeral claws scratch at the crabs. When Aakif settles back on his heels to regain his balance for another attack, the wind dies down and the shapes dissipate.
Rage. Move to CC-73, avoiding AoOs. Attack the crab at CC-72; the spirits will attack that same crab if it survives Aakif's attack, or the other one if not.
Power attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Slashing damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (2, 3) + 10 = 15
Spirit slam: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Negative energy damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Navior
I'll assume you meant the crab at CC-74, since there isn't one at -72, but if you get the direction of the numbers backwards, -74 would look like -72. :)
Aakif's blow shatters the top of the crab's shell. It twitches angrily and manages to avoid the strange otherworldly claws.
In retaliation, it snaps back at Aakif.
Claw attack on Aakif: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Claw attack on Aakif: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Claw damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
One of its claws snaps across Aakif's thigh, piercing his skin.
The other crab snaps at Makoa.
Claw attack on Makoa: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Claw attack on Makoa: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Claw damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Claw damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
One of the two claws catches him in the side while the other scrapes his arm.
Mahjik moves up and pummels at the nearest crab, but despite its weakened state and Desna's luck, he is not able to penetrate its shell.
Next Up: Makoa, Douena, Lorenz, Urza, Aakif, Giant Crabs, Mahjik.
Map Updated
Lorenz Aeryson
Shaking his head with annoyance, Lorenz reaches for another arrow and attempts another strike. "Damn it," he mutters under his breath. "How hard is it to hit a bloody bug?"
Point Blank Shot to the same Crab as before: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
He sighs as the arrow glances off the crab's shell, hardly scoring a mark.
Urza Sha'rahad
Urza moves to CC71 then lobs an orb of acid at the crab Aakif is fighting.
Acid Splash: to hit 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11 R Touch, includes -4 pen for firing into melee
Acid Splash: damage 1d3 ⇒ 2
Makoa Wolf'sKin
It also shows that you forgot that you took Precise Shot as your fighter bonus feat.. :P
Makoa grimaces as the crabs pincers dig into him, and feels a sort of calm fury come over him as he snaps at the giant crustacean again.
Same crab as before, or whichever is still alive.
Raging Power Bite:1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 6 - 1 = 16
Damage:1d4 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 3 = 12
Urza Sha'rahad
"I think this time we should make all due haste to our destination. I would rather not take the time to bury them. If Douena's and Mahjik's dreams are any indication, our mission today is too important to be put off even for a little while."
Navior
Yes! Mahjik has dreams and amibitions ;P
Clearly Mahjik is the secret source of all these strange dreams and visions. :)
With the threat of the crabs dealt with, you move on, leaving the bodies to be picked clean by flappybites and anything else that might come by.
The beach continues west for a short distance before curving to the southwest for about a mile and then curving west again. About an hour after leaving the crabs behind, you notice several mounds up ahead. They look almost like large nests made out of palm fronds and driftwood. Altogether, you can see six of them.
Aakif Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Douena Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 + 1 vs. traps
Lorenz Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Mahjik Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Makoa Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Urza Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Soulwind Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
There is also a trail leading south from the nests into the jungle. The beach curves to the northwest from here.
Douena Trestleben
Assuming she sees no signs of life...
Douena waves the rest of the group forward. "It's what's left of another camp. And look -- another trail into the jungle. Did the people who were here make the trail, going farther in, or did someone in the jungle make the trail out here to them?"
Using her staff, she pokes through the collapsed remains of one of the huts, looking for clues about the people who lived here -- or for shiny things.
Navior
There's no sign of life anywhere nearby, but both Douena and Lorenz discover bits of dried blood, much like at the other abandoned camps you've found.
Lorenz discovers a dagger under a pile of collapsed driftwood. Unlike the other daggers lying about, this one is still in its leather scabbard and is of much finer make (masterwork). When he pulls it out, he sees that the blade is etched with a pair of crossed praying mantis claws.
Mahjik the Flink
Mahjik looks at the remnants, his eyes brood on the remains of the camp - especially the sawtooth sabres and daggers. "Wise man would worry at details. The weapons that remain here are relatively specialized - with a more random collection of people you would expect a greater diversity of weapons. I think this might be the remains of a dedicated group of people, not just some average castaways." Perception, to find more evidence for or against his observations 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Douena Trestleben
"We've found three camps on the beach, and all of them have a trail leading into the jungle," Douena says thoughtfully. "What if they weren't just survivors of a shipwreck? What if these people came here on purpose, looking for something in there," she points into the jungle, "just like Ieana did?"
Lorenz Aeryson
Lorenz holds up the dagger he found. "Well some of this group must have been from the Red Mantis. This dagger has been marked with their sign."
He looked around at the humps that were all that remains of the huts. "I don't know that I believe they came here on purpose though. If they had, would they have constructed such simple huts? We seem to have better supplies than these people did."
He shrugs. "But maybe they got tired of living in huts and went off into the jungle and left those traps. But that doesn't explain all the blood we found at the first camp, or that scary symbol on the wall. I still think something came out of the jungle and took them."
"Anyway, let's keep going west while we still have time." Lorenz drew his rapier, however, looking warily into the jungle. He intended to be ready if there were any sudden attacks.
Navior
You continue northwest along the beach, leaving the collapsed huts behind. The temperature is starting to rise, but you should have about another hour before the really hot time settles in. After about half an hour of travel, the beach twists to the west again. As you come around a group of large rocks, you spot a strange sight. Up ahead is an immense red and orange crab the size of a small house. It crouches on spiny legs.
Suddenly, it raises its pincers into the air menacingly and lowers them again. Its legs start to twitch and its stalked eyes wriggle. It begins making hideous moaning sounds. It snaps its pincers as it raises them again. However, it does not move forward.
Aakif Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Douena Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Lorenz Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Mahjik Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Makoa Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Urza Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Soulwind Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Despite its movement, Douena notices that the crab is quite dead. Its movements are jerky, mechanical, and repetitive. There is definitely something else going on.
Douena Trestleben
Douena smiles. "It's a scarecrow! I don't see how it works, though. But if someone put this up to scare things away, maybe there's finally something worth finding on this island!" She will approach the crab carefully, keeping an eye out for traps. Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 +1 vs. traps
Navior
As Douena gets closer, the crab continues to shake its pincers about. While they don't seem to have much mobility, they are very clearly sharp, so she stays well back from them. Up closer, she make out ropes and branches at the crab's various joints. Clearly, there must be a whole system of ropes and pulleys running inside the shell. The moaning is also clearly coming from inside the main body of the crab, and amplified by what is presumably a hollow shell. The moaning (more like shrieks from up close) becomes more frantic as she gets closer.
Douena Trestleben
As whoever is in the shell is seemingly distressed by her approach, Douena stops at a short distance and calls out politely, "Hello? Is there someone in there? Can we help you?" She shrugs back at the rest of the party. "We're not really very scary," she adds.
