Haron Lightstep |
Haron move in behind Bull, gun drawn and loaded.

Triccio 'Trig' Petali |
Thundering Bull follows his favorite ratman, keeping about 10ft between them. Seeing Nor'scrik try to move quietly, he attempts to emulate.
Despite his bulky armor, he somehow manages to outperform his furry friend! Hmmm... Thundering Bull rogue now. With this new development, he closes the gap and prods Nor'scrik in the shoulder with a meaty finger. "Am rogue. Thundering Bull find trap."
With that attitude I bet you will find the trap! :-)
Trig is amused at the stealthy change of tactics in the group. Just blundering ahead and killing everything in sight had worked well enough before. Nevertheless he follows suit, moving as quietly as he can.
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Kroone |
While Nor'scrik checks for traps, followed by the big bull, Kroone advances with his greatsword in hands to check around for himself. He isn't particularly stealthy or noisy, but tries to keep the same "silent"/"cautious" way as his companions.
Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
DoubleGold |
Before any of you even make it to the big doors, you all hear a dog growl from the open room on the right as you walk past it. No stealthing past this unless you are invisible Roof, roof, growl. As it moves its head, snorts its nostrils full of smoke and gets ready to attack.
It is knowledge planes to identify this dog, as it isn't a normal dog. No not a hell hound, guess again.
Krone is close enough to see its mouth drooling and hear its stomach growl of hunger.

I understand some of you aren't positioned correctly, as some of you moved based upon your description posts, you may reposition yourselves based upon what you said you were doing as I assume most of you would move together outside combat and then move on round 1 if that makes sense.
Kroone |
Kroone moves closer to the creature. He doesn't know exactly what it is, and doesn't want to necessarily kill it without knowing if it's evil or not. However, he puts himself up to protect his companions.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 4 = 2 Fighting defensively and attacking for non-lethal with Blade of Mercy
Damage: 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 4 + 1 = 7 Blade of Mercy
My AC is currently 19 + 2 (Dodge) = 21.
Edit: wow, such incredible rolls! I'm impressed!
DoubleGold |
Kroone gets too nervous as he swings way above the dog. The two headed dog takes its turn. bit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (10) = 14
bite: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (4) = 8 but apparently the heads were going for the outreached arms but the teeth misses as Kroone did a 180 circle swing, as the teeth bite air or rather where Kroone's arms where when he was swinging.
Rest of the heroes are up.
Silverback |
Just a reminder that I roll initiative twice and keep the best result.
"Eh? An enemy?" Silverback mutters.
"A strange creature, to be sure," he says as he casts bless from his wand.

Haron Lightstep |
"I do not like shooting a dog, even with two heads. What if he was just hungry?"
Pistol Shot: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 vs Touch
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
At least it won't just bounce off the blasted thing, I hope.
"Guys, get him out of the corner if you can. I don't need you big lugs blocking my shot."
Thundering Bull |
Thundering Bull leaps into action, ready to bring his axe down upon anyone's head who would dare to threaten his might. In his typical battle frenzy, he beats his chest with his mailed fists before swinging his axe at one of the heads. "AXE BEAT DOG!" he bellows as his axe soars through the air.
2H Cold Iron Battleaxe (Bless, Charge, PA): 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 1 + 2 - 1 = 131d8 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

With Kroone where he is, there is no way that dog is coming out. Sorry Haron :/ AC is currently 16, 22/20 HP
Triccio 'Trig' Petali |
"A normal dog couldn't last in a sealed tomb. This is some kind of unnatural creature."
Trig manuevers to the side, but can't get a line for a shot. He settles for trying to immobilize the beast.
Move as shown on the map. Cast grease. DC 14 Reflex save or fall down, and again if it tries to move.
Haron Lightstep |
Mumbeling to himself
"And the big lugs step into a doorway to do all the work themselves. Guess I will just lean against the wall here and hope it turns out ok."
DoubleGold |
Haron shoot it with a loud bang, while other bash and hack and slash at it. Triccio casts grease just before Steinfaust delivers the final blow.
The heroes regain their surroundings for a few seconds, only discover that other creatures heard the sound of combat to come running.
All creatures come through the open doors and those intelligent enough that are nearby open closed doors.
Silverbacks bless is still up
Three skeletons from the west door, three from the north door, an asp and a giant solifugid

init 2 of silverback: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (7) = 11

After the asp takes its turn it will be Thundering Bull, Steinfaust and Norscrik, then skeletons
The asp will move over the Haron and try to bite him. Asp is a type of snake
bite: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (18) = 22 and he is bit in the leg for dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 1 And a fort save needed to resist poison or take Con damage.
Haron Lightstep |
Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 [ooc] Well that doesn't look good.
Thundering Bull |
Thundering Bull moves between Steinfaust and Haron, ready to deliver his axe to the silly snake that would harm his favorite halfman. "No hurt halfman!" he cries out as he swings his axe with authority.
2H Battleaxe (Bless, PA): 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 1 - 1 = 151d8 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Nor'scrik |
Nor'scrik moves up and tries to claw the first skeleton coming through the door.
claw attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
claw damage (B and P): 1d4 ⇒ 3
DoubleGold |
Norscrik tries to scratch up the skeleton but hits only its armor.
The skeleton will retaliate by swinging its broken scimitar at Norscrik hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (2) = 2 and it misses, the other two skeletons are blocked, so they will go around, the move fast towards a more northern door and open it and move south again. They are near that table
And the other three skeletons that were from the north double move to get to the heroes.
Silverback |
Silverback draws a vial of acid from his bandolier and throws it behind the three skeletons.
aiming for the middle square behind the three
ranged touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 71d6 ⇒ 6
miss direction: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Haron Lightstep |
Knowing his weapons are practically useless against skeletons Haron stays where he is, knowing he will probably be injured and fires at the Giant Solifugid.
Pistol Shot: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Vs touch
Weapons: 1d6 ⇒ 6
"Leave the Solifugid to me if you like. I am terrible against the undead. My bullets just go right though them generally."
DoubleGold |
Giant Solifud: This tan-colored creature looks like a ten-legged spider. Oversized jaws grind together slowly beneath beady eyes.
The map got moved over a little, and it is a grid, so it can easily happen, so I fixed it best I can
Silverback tries to hit the square behind the skeletons 25 feet away, but the acid lands off center just a little to his left getting two skeletons and killing them instantly.
Um, Haron, if you look at the map that thing is 11 squares north of you and behind a table that counts as cover, the skeletons are out of your way, so would you have moved your movement of 4 squares and then fired or at a skeleton first, or were you moving and reading a shot when it got closer to the party?
Haron Lightstep |
Somehow I thought there were skeletons directily in front of me. Either something changed or I read it wildly wrong.
What is the dinosaur on the map? I saw it and assumed it was the Solifud thing-a-ma-gig.
Should i ret con with the correct info or just lose my action for being a dumb ass?
DoubleGold |
At Haron, The dinosaur was not added by me, so it is somebody's familiar or pet. Two skeletons near you were killed by acid that hit one square to the left of where silverback aimed, via miss direction. I'm going to 5 foot shift step you away from the skeleton and hold your shot as a readied action when the thing gets closer as it will be its turn next.
The giant solifud rushes forward, it is fast and small and it rushes past the skeletons and under the table with no problem letting Harons' ready go off. And he blasts it very hard in the stomach and it hurts but it keeps going and gets into melee with Haron. It will try to bite Haron hit: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (13) = 16 but can't bite through his armor
Kroone and Triccio are up
Kroone |
Kroone goes the long way around with his greatsword in hands. The paladin yells as he moves, getting ready to attack one of the skeletons on the far north of the room.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24 So close!
Damage: 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 1 = 13
Thundering Bull |
"NO. HURT. HALFMAN!" Thundering Bull bellows at the solifugid as Haron gets attacked. Enhancing the authority of his words, he attempts to introduce his axe to the things face.
2H Battleaxe (PA, Inspire, Bless): 1d20 + 7 - 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 1 + 1 + 1 = 191d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Nor'scrik |
Nor'scrik attacks in a flurry of claws, bites and stabs from his tail blade.
claw attack 1, bless, inspired: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 10

bite damage, inspired: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
DoubleGold |
Thundering bull kills the solifud is he slices his guts out.
Nor'scrik does have some trouble but manage to put a few broken bones in that skeleton, it is now destroyed
The three skeletons left will attack hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (5) = 5 on Kroone
hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (14) = 14 on bull
Rest of the heroes are up
Haron Lightstep |
Shrugging Haron gets some distance, shrugs and fires a futile shot at the skeleton.
"Bounce this off your ribs."
Pistol Hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Well that is almost as good as it gets.
Kroone |
Kroone taps on Steinfaust shoulder, and looks around.
Let's check this room, than maybe take a short rest. Trig, Silverback, how are your spells going?
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Search around
Haron Lightstep |
"Did you guys see that shot? I hit it right in the eye socket!! Normally my bullets just pass though them with little damage."
After celebrating Haron searches the north end of the room very thoroughly.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Now thats a role.
