As Seamus tries to throw his snowball, it opens its gaping maw and tries to bite him.
bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Seamus takes the opportunity to hurl the snowball right into its mouth and it shudders and collapses to the ground in a motionless heap.
Vincent then steps up and finishes the job, slicing it into little bits and splattering the blood it sucked out of Leonard all over the party.
The party searches the room but finds nothing of value. Vincent checks the door and find that it is neither locked nor trapped but everyone hears the sound of squeaking in the next room.
Vincent Arazeiros
Vincent grunts, "Nice shooting." and proceeds to heal Leonard with the wand. Leonard you can roll for as many charges as you need
Do we still have that restoration wand?"
GM Mort
Howard hands over the wand of lesser restoration with 4 charges in it to Vincent.
Leonard please bot your own lesser restoration.

Dusting himself off, Leonard closes his shirt, finding that it is now substantially shredded, revealing fine silvery metal beneath. Going to need to fix that tomorrow. No need to worry today, it'll just fall apart again. He taps himself with his sword twice, then rests it easily against his shoulder. Awake again, I told you you wouldn't die here. I was never worried, I have friends now. Leonard looks around at the others, almost sad.
He quickly busies himself, cleaning off with Prestidigitation. That squeaking is unsettling, guess we better shut it up. Leonard casts shield.
Vincent Arazeiros
Vincent looks at his blood covered body and looks pointedly at Leonard and his cleaned clothing, then back to his own.
He nods at Leonard, tossing back a few herbs that turn his skin a darker color, then opens the door for Leonard. Barkskin, 60m, +3 ac, now 22

Seamus nods to Vincent, "Thank you." As Leonard comments about his ruined shirt, Seamus walks over and asks "May I? When I was younger I hated going to the tailor a all the time so I learned a spell called 'mending' but it never worked like I thought it should. maybe wit will be able to 'mend' your shirt." He then casts mending on the tattered shirt.
"Your right the squeaking is odd, shall we go?"
Seamus follows the other tow toward the sound.
GM Mort
Vincent opens the door, while Leonard taps himself with his wand of shield, uttering, "Tegere" as a red force field surrounds him.

This corridor connects all the rooms of the upper floor. The only two windows have been shuttered and nailed shut, leaving the space dark. A marble washbasin here is fed by the rainwater cistern in the attic, and pours greenish but potable water. The main drainage pipe of the manor runs under the washbasin between the first and second floors. As the party steps on the floorboards, the sound of squeaking intensifies as a swarm of rats emerge from the floorboards to attack the party.

Leonard stays near the back, waiting for Vincent to report. What if we just use something to lock the door shut? We can deal with the breathing without having to worry about getting hit from behind, and could even just leave them in there. He thinks for a moment about the gear he's carrying, then looks around for something heavy.
I heard someone casting invisibility a moment ago. I suggest we toss flour or chalk in before charging forward. Or we could just wait five minutes, though I don't like that plan. Anyone prepare glitterdust?

Eh. We might as well be methodical; just there is no sound of breathing, doesn't mean that there isn't some sort of nasty monster behind the door. Let's do them in order (1 to 5).

"We should dismember those..."
He then pulls out a dagger to do exactly that.

GM Mort
As Howard raises his dagger to dismember them, Leonard is suddenly assailed by a pale face framed by glossy black hair in the air, trailing viscera from the ragged stump of its neck like a grisly tail which seems to swish from side to side in the air. Yeah, though it's tough to cast from inside a grapple, and I wasn't expecting the invisible thing to already be in the hallway. Even if I had, I would've put the thing casting invisibility as a caster, and not anticipated grapples. Someone else could've cast it on me I guess.

Actually it had sneakily opened the door - it has stealth of +21 even without invisibility, I kid you not, and the moment you guys were in that room hacking things, it decided to show itself. It has an investment to protect, after all.

Did it enter after or before we finished with the rats? Also, +21 is impressive.

Basically it heard the battle with rats. Vincent checked all the doors, moved away to open Door 1. It slipped its door open and let itself into the hallway. Once you lot(in its opinion) were up to no good, it moved forward to attack.
