No problem GM, one of the downsides of play-by-posts is the slow pace! I appreciate that you "hurry" things along, we can always RP in spoilers before we leave or anything.

PS, I will be traveling from the US to Europe for work next week (Monday thru Saturday). I will try my best to post, but no guarantees, especially on Monday-Tuesday (traveling from 2pm Monday-8am Tuesday with the 5 hour time change) and Saturday (traveling from 11am Europe time to 9pm Eastern time, including 5 hour time change).

Hmm,

So as GM pointed out, we're about at that point where we should stop and consider the "other" HR: Human(oid) Resources, aka the Weekly Rebellion Thingy.

Some thoughts on Actions:

* Recruit Followers: Always Be reCruiting.
* Upgrade Team: Can we make Turl's team into Rumormongers? Might help to have more actions available to us.
* Earn Gold: rebels gotta eat, no?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

1) Just realized a channel can be targeted at undead or living, but not both. Derrrrrp.

2) How should I handle AoOs? Should I roll it in a spoiler tag? Let you roll (which I'm okay with, I guess)? Something else? Is there a consensus "best practices" for this?

Having trouble loading the roll 20 since I'm overseas and on my work laptop.

Here is what Leora would like to do, since I'm not able to see the map:

1. Leora would like to move and cast protection from evil on T'chazzar

2. If #1 isn't possible due to movement or AOOs, Leora would like to cast protection from evil on Dom.

3. If #1 and 2 aren't possible, Leora would like to move closer so that she can be in a better position to cast protection from evil next round, and use her standard to channel positive to harm undead.

I went with option #3: I moved your token up 1 square diagonally (cost 3 squares) so Leora'd be able to reach Dom next round (I have a hunch T'chazzar may be moving closer to you in pursuit of your foe).

Do you want to roll the channel positive energy damage or should I?

Alright, we got some loot!
3 potions of lesser restoration
4 potions of cure light wounds
scrolls of cure moderate wounds, daylight, remove blindness/deafness, and remove disease
potion of arcane mark

I suggest everyone except Leora take a potion of CLW, and that we share the potions of lesser restoration so people can drink em quickly during combat if needed. Leora is okay to hang onto all the scrolls since I think they are all cleric spells, but is willing to share if others have them on their spell lists!

Any ideas for what we would use the potion of arcane mark for?

T'chazzar, we do have a loot list, linked in my signature. Feel free to browse and claim stuff if there's any equipment you are looking for!

Also, don't forget we all got potions when we got to rebellion rank 3, worth 300gp or less.

GM has helpfully listed all the rebellion actions on the Campaign Info tab for those who need a refresher!

Do we want to try to recruit another team since we can have 3 now? If I am remembering correctly, we get 3 teams since we are rank 3 but the Fushi Sisters don't count as one? If so, I vote for swapping earn gold for recruiting some sort of team if we have any candidates...

Other than that, I'm on board with Dom's ideas! I also say we add another 100gp to the treasury to cover the cost of upgrading Turl's team.

Page 28 of the Hell's Rebel's Player's Guide has what I assume is the weird-ass butterfly creature that got smooshed at Clenchjaws :(

The orange blobs are supposed to be semi-transparent and on the maps themselves, shading areas that aren't part of the featured district. They seem to have wandered off spectacularly. I'll try to fix things today.

The Fushi Sisters are a bonus team that doesn't count against the rebellion's total number of teams (see the Max Teams column of Table 1: Rebellion Advancement, in the Hell's Rebels Player's Guide, p. 22). I removed the failed shading and excess white space from the maps document; I think it's more usable now.

DAVINA gets a +2 bonus to the weekly organization action of her choice thanks to her campaign trait, so...any chance we can get you to volunteer to be the group's official dice roller?

Also, something to remember: all rolls for the current week have a -4 penalty due to last week's event (Dissension in the Ranks). And...the bonus action granted by Dom the Sentinel gets a +2 bonus to the roll.

Feel free to add any team listed in the HR Player's Guide; we'll retrofit them into the overarching storyline after the fact. Also, remember that a new team will need to have a manager assigned to it.

OK, Davina can make the weekly organization rolls (and maybe break the tie on one of the actions: earn gold vs. recruit a new team) whenever she'd like.

Also, a couple more things for this game week:

1) DAVINA needs to reply to Lady Aeldervenk's letter and set a date for her lecture. 2-3 weeks out is generally considered acceptable, but you could see her sooner if you'd like.

2) LEORA is scheduled to attend a Vernal Equinox party on Sunday at the end of the current week (with Jessibel at the Vashnarstill estate).

Other folks may make their own plans, of course. Possible missions would be the Red Jills, Saul Porter, garden bashers, and/or student protests. Oh yeah--Sabrina's still missing. And you might even want to take the sleeping beauty Falina on a tour of the city.

Some Quick Notes

First, before I forget, the next day I'll be online is Tuesday (thanks to Presidents' Day on Monday). I didn't leave myself enough time today to rule on the Activities Rolls Davina made.

Some random notes (mostly to remind myself on Tuesday):
1) Davina forgot to add the -4 penalties from (Dissension in the Ranks); also, the Rebellion Rank gets updated before the activities are rolled (meaning that the earn Gold Result is likely 8 - 4 = 4 x 4 = 16). Also, the Recruit Followers action will cost 40 gp.

2) You guys earn a title (Guardian) and more importantly, a bonus feat! Choose between: Alertness, Deceitful, Persuasive, or Stealthy.

3) I rolled the Upkeep stuff in advance, so ignore Davina's results. I rolled a 1 for Supporter Attrition, you gained 3 tiefling followers (an ongoing bonus for killing the tooth fairies), and the Recruit Supporters action added another 9 for a weekly gain of 11 to a new total of 36! Unless something horrible happens, chances are the Rebellion Rank will be at 5 the following week (its maximum for the near future), earning each PC a +1,200 XP bonus, more than enough to bump you all to 3rd-level, so start planning for that!

4) LEORA: Since, as a player, you're in charge of the loot list, how about your PC becomes the Silver Ravens' treasurer? Since no one's made any sort of run on the loot and/or gold the party has collected, I don't think anyone would complain if you shifted funds into the Treasury when you see fit.

5) You guys still have one action left (possibly upgrading Turl's Troupe; Jessi votes Yea!).

Dom: Zea has some news to share, so she'll be turning up sooner rather than later.

Sorry, got a late start today. I'm hoping to get the week's actions all in the books tomorrow.

I'm not sure how I'll run this week either. Maybe this'll be a quick and quiet week for the rebellion. Or maybe not. :)

As for scroll-making (and other crafting), let's assume Leora works a full week and as things transpire during the week we can 'subtract' days from what she manages to scribe.

For what it's worth, Jessibel will go with Deceitful as well. Oh, those poor Vashnarstill twins! ;)

I got the idea to have Dom earn gold using Profession (gardener) growing black market mint, which in Kintargo is just insane enough to work. :)

Dom: Both! It's spring, so the growing season's upon Kintargo. On the negative side, it might give CCG goons another reason to trash the garden (if they're smart enough to recognize the plant; debatable). Technically, though, the Lord-Mayor's proclamation says nothing about growing mint, just using it in food and drink. I even have an NPC in mind who would be willing to buy the stuff. I say 'Go for it!'

Mint (Thank You Google/Internet!):

From seeding to maturity, mint takes about 90 days. This means that it will achieve its full height, generally of 1 to 2 feet, and it will be ready to harvest. At this point you can cut mint down to 1 inch above the soil, and it will regrow to harvest height again in a month and a half or so.

Falina, I think people are jumping around. I suppose there are 2-3 things going on at once and it's getting confusing. I'm guilty too! Falina is welcome to come learn about Saul too if she wants, didn't mean to exclude, I was sort of lost in who is where without realizing it.

Anyways, I think since we are looking at stuff going on over a few days:
-Right after Falina wakes up, everyone is around and figuring out what to do next, and are talking about learning more about Saul
-At some point after that, Dom and Davina (and possibly others) go back to Erandon Manor and get the roses
-Around the same time, Leora is back at the Nest with whoever wants to go, and gets the note from Jessi
