Sorry for the delay but the pause was simply because the GM didn't respond, so I would say unless Chui is waiting then the armor remains in Alex's pack.

Chui darts forward 15 ft. so that he can see the full extent of the atrium.
Moved my avatar 15 ft to the east; I only want to go as far as is necessary to peak around the corner to the north.
Assuming that this area is clear, I'm going to open those double doors that I just checked a round or so earlier.

I tap my finger against my chin as I look at my botanical bodyguard, sizing him up and mentally preparing to make the necessary adjustments
because of the difference in anatomy.
We will definitely need to adjust the elbow joints. Oh right, yes, well I sometimes get ahead of myself, we need to wait for our fearless feline to get back. Chui moves forward along the wall and looks around more carefully.
The door to the room to the west is fully open but from this angle Chui cannot make out much. The doors to the east seem to be some kind of bedrooms and this is the source of the scent of decay.
As Chui takes all this in, he ears turn swiftly to a noise coming from the east rooms, then a second noise. It sounds like the leathery wings of a large bat.

Chui takes a 5-foot step to the south-west and whispers down to the party below ...
It's in one of the rooms with open doors on the eastern side of the atrium. Come on up and get ready. I'm going to vanish and move to engage it.
Chui takes a swift action to vanish and moves east.

He then attacks with one of his claws.

Chui suddenly appears behind the flying winged creature and slashes with his clawed hand. The creatures touch hide resists it though and no blood is drawn.
A second leathery winged head comes flying from the northern door and begins to scream as it does. The shriek is intense and caused everyone's blood to freeze in their bodies.
Everyone needs to give me a FORTITUDE save please.

Even Alex has heard of the legendary Catfolk Tex and his Big Iron Six Shooter. He could shave the whiskers off of 3 gnats with one bullet!

Bambara cries out and moves in with Chui to take down the demonic head. His sword comes crashing down, cutting deep and the best turns back toward him.
Harmini can't recall anything more specific than previously. Though you have now seen the effects of the scream first-hand.
You seem to recall hearing such a scream in your past. It comes from a Vargouille, an evil outsider that appears to be nothing more than an oversized demon head with bat-like wings. From what you remember,the shriek can stop a person dead in their tracks. In addition, their bite is poisonous.
As for how to stop them, you do not recall anything specific, so either they have no real defense or weakness or you never heard of any.
Everyone but Harmini, give me a PERCEPTION check. Harmini makes it automatically.

The beast currently between Bambara and Chui lunges at Bam in response to his attack. Its mouth is full of vicious looking teeth and its tongue drips with viscous fluid. The teeth sink in deep though the wound is minor over all.
- Bite Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
- Damage 1d4 ⇒ 4
- FORTITUDE save required.
Lots of information, lots of rolls needed. Once resolved Chui is going next.

Chui disappears but quickly reappears next to the vargouille. He catches it completely by surprise and rips into it. Teeth and claws ravage the beast and Chui is left dripping blood over the corpse lying in tatters on the floor.
The second vargouille takes little notice of its companions fate and seems to be focused on Alex's frozen body. It flies over to her and seems to hug her with its leathery wings. There is a wet sound and then Alex mumbles a scream, as though her mouth were full when she was attacked.
Please give me a FORTITUDE save.

I can move? Instead of a Fort Save, I want to bite his tounge. If he is in my mouth I automatically hit. I understand that this isn’t by the book, but maybe I can sweeten the deal with a hero point? Or even better, can I use my breath weapon on him? What would that even do to him? Its a 60 foot line of caustic acid straight into his mouth. If we are lip locked, is that dude is just going to pop like an balloon?

Well, it might seem like this is some kind of grapple or an extended interaction but it is just a standard action. If you wish to make an initiative check to beat its initiative I will allow you to forgo the saving throw and make a bite as a readied action. If you do not beat its initiative, you make the save and continue to act in the initiative order as normal.Fair?
