6th: Cold Ice Strike (swift action 30' line attack), chain lightning, acid fog, repulsion or greater dispel magic

Fly is not that important to Hazreem as he can wild shape if needed. Mage's Sword gets my vote.

That Cold Ice Strike is nice, yet I am leaning towards Gr. Dispel Magic as a better option.

I can fly with my Angelic Aspect spells, so I vote Mage's Sword.

Cold Ice Strike is really effective against all these fire based critters we continue to run into. Of course, Greater Dispel Magic is always a staple but we haven't been running into too many buffed things (However, it does work against spell-like abilities but haven't been subject to too many of those either).

Definitely as dire of a situation as I can recall for you all! It only took you all being nearly completely spent going into a major encounter (and a few mythic levels).

Before we decide to expend that Wish spell, keep in mind Hazreem does have a Heal spell as well.

If we manage to survive this encounter (unlikely since our main damage dealer is down) then we should be able to bring Bahir back to life should he perish here.

I remember in the old days when polymorph had an HD limit instead of a size limit and I spent nearly all of levels 17+ as a Colossal Red Dragon. I’m sure th GM just loved it.

So, Camris hasn't checked in a while to either this or the MM game. I may do a "notional" level up for Mah'ysa until Camris does (hopefully) check in again.

Level 13 cleric, level 14 overall looks like involves no actual cleric decisions except spell memorization, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I am also going to ping Camris through PM. We are still waiting on Pae anyway at the moment.

I guess for the most part I am interested in stats... 15 pt buy or 20?

edit: ahh, there is a lvl 1 Pae hanging around. Looks like the point buy was 20.

Since we aren't too far off Pae's retirement (though Pae will still exist in the story), Sanathoma needs some character creation rules.

Since this started in 3.5e, I don't want to unbalance the party. I am thinking the following

20 pt buy.
Core races.
Level 14.
No gunslingers (bolt ace ok).
Unchained summoner only.
Wealth dependent on party wealth at character creation time.

Sound ok to everyone?

Here's what we will use if we need to continue on as a NPC for now. Mah'ysa can override anything when she returns.

Mah NPC level up:

CLeric 13(+1) / Bard 1
HP: 80% = 7hp + 0 con bonus = 109 Hp
Channel Energy goes to 7d6
Bonus 4th level spell slot.
Brand new 7th level spell slot.

So for default prepared spells I am thinking

We are likely a few days away from needing stats anyway and hopefully Mah pops back in by then.

I think we will just npc Mah'ysa for now. You guys are thiiiissss close to the end of the book and then there will be some churn in shopping and setting up the next book. That will give ample time for Camris to possibly show back up again.

If that doesn't happen when we are ready to proceed, there are some options. I think Mah'ysa's character will just become an NPC in the story and not travel with the party. That leaves the option for Camris to come back in one day.

Sanathoma is going to make a new character and if he would rather make a replacement healer that would work. We could decide to move on with 4 or recruit a 5th. I am fine either way. I am sure we wouldn't have trouble finding someone to jump in for the final book of an AP.

Well Hazreem, Pae, it looks like we aren't going to hear from Bahir and Efreat. I wouldn't want to just push through this final stage of the book with 3 NPCs and this is a pretty good stopping point if this gets picked back up again. Additionally, I am struggling to find any free time to make posts happen (more of a problem with my other game).

I will leave the Campaign active and maybe the stars will align in the future to finish it out.

I was going to post about this, but RL issues have interfered for me. I think now would be a good stopping point for this game as well.

I would prefer if you did mark this game as Inactive, but unfortunately Paizo has a bug currently where you cannot Edit a Campaign to mark as Inactive. They should have the bug fixed some time before Thanksgiving though.

It is a shame because we are so close to the end of the book, finally. We could easily reboot this thing with a mostly new cast, even if we just get through the end of this book in story mode to retain continuity.

Hi all,

I know this has been marked inactive now but hope you will see this. I had a flood that took out my home office (and thus my ability to post here easily) and caused me to have to renovate 75% of my house. On top of the hardest semester of college, trips, and other personal issues I fell off the face of the internet. I am now set all back up (as of last night), my next semester will be relatively tame, and not going anywhere. So both able and willing to come back and give this the attention it deserves. Just throwing that out there if there is still interest.

I think I would like to see this game through but I hope we can get a fourth player to join up. Right now only Bahir, Efreat and Hazreem are definite to pick this up again. I would recommend we get a fourth to play Mah'ysa/Pae until we escape the Palace.
