I agree it was close. We really do not have a tank. Ezekial is melee all the way but I think he is going spring attack and will not stand and fight unless cornered. His AC will never be good enough to stand and fight against a troll or the like.

Connon is mobile and to do his best damage he needs to charge/ride by and not hold a line.

Everyone else has lower AC than the two of us.

Bit busy doing nurse stuff, though have settled on a Cohort, a human winter witch/season witch (winter) named Kess Elvanna. One of the ruling cast of the frozen land of Irrisen known as the Jadwiga, Kess took the disappearance of Queen Elvanna and the first generation of her family line as an opportunity to set out to find her own destiny in the warmer lands to the south. Guided by mystical visions sent by her otherworldly patron Kess has traveled to the stolen lands to find the source of these unnatural disturbances.

Kess is a pretty human woman who's travels throughout the inner sea region have warmed her to the perspectives of others, though she remains a frosty ice queen true to her family's traditions. Accompanied by her trusty raven familiar Ishai she can often be found in conversation with the flighty corvid.

Since we have a few years of downtime, what kind of evolution do we see for the team's dynamics?

Do Connor and Larisa eventually get married?

Does Seres wind up spending more time with the Old Beldame and the faerie folk?

On Veronica's end she probably continues the routine of roaming the perimeter and helping local farmers and herdsmen in need. We'd have to sort out what happens, if anything, between her and Zeke, the major hurdle here being that Zeke has a 7 Charisma and just isn't a very likable guy as a result.

Zeke certainly is a work in progress; a convicted criminal trying to do better. He likely does not believe he deserves to be happy. Zeke would happily accompany Veroncia on some of that roaming if invited but will not invite himself. He will spend tine establishing that spy network. Between that and any hopes of winning Veronica he will likely increase his Chr instead of Dex at level 8.

Leveling up: +8 HP, +1 BAB. Saves stay the same. Various skills increase. Sneak Attack dice increase to 4 and he picks up Spring Attack.

I'll be taking a level of Feysworn PrC, which unfortunately is a null caster level for the 1st. I'll take a look at my spell list for retraining ideas, but if everything is set, the page of spell knowledge is a cool idea.

If you haven't already noticed, I don't want Seres to be a blaster sorcerer. 'Sub-optimal', sure, but I'm trying to find ways to be creative in combat rather then relying on direct damage. I'd concede magic missile, though, because things are getting a lot harder to hit with the bow & arrow.

Now, about that lesser quicken metamagic rod...

Feat: Monstrous Mount (Griffin named Whitetalon); keeping skills and feats the same as Cinder. Griffin gets way more tricks. Will set those up shortly. Also gains pounce and a full attack barrage that will scare you (4x attacks at power attack +9/1d6+12 each). Can't fly mounted until I take another feat. But she can fly by herself.

Gain Mobility as a bonus feat (Connor and Whitetalon)

Will need to refit barding (or purchase new stuff for her ... might get some chain shirt barding depending on price)

Ill write it up in a bit. Actually thought id find an egg or buy one amd raise it given we have years to catch up.

Feat allows fpr a griffin. Owlbear wasnt on the list.

Also, pounce is only the 2 attacks. The rake allows for 2 more on a grapple.

Another benefit i never used on Cinder is thatbthe mount gets half of my challenge bonus woth the charger archetype.

Conno and Ezekial, I've rolled the cost of your gear into the party wealth. This is the way I do things at my table so correct me if I'm out of line but items the party gets back generally have to be bought off the party to make up for gold not sold. This also goes same for any items anyone wants to keep instead of selling off.

Also note that this number is not final as we still have a few items to price, but the final number if pretty close to what we're looking at.

We havent done that before this point, so I am not certain how that transition should work with other items. Do we need to retroactively figure out the balance of what we owe for other items we have pulled from the loot pile? Currently we just kick things back into the party pool for sale or redistro.

As long as we address the change so it's fair, I am OK with it with except I wont buy the ring in this case...cant afford it given it costs more than my split.

Good catch, will correct the loot later when I get back to my pc but here's some back of the napkin calcs. The vendor trash should be sold at face value and we have two +1 weapons which adds an additional 2,000 GP total worth, which comes to another 1,000 GP for the part split. With the extra 3,000 GP from selling the vendor trash for full value comes to roughly an extra 800 GP for the parry each.

Thanks DM will adjust loot share when I get back to my pc, good call on the kingdom withdrawal it wasn't spent so that's an extra 400 GP each.

I like paying for what we get Larisa. That is how my home group does it as well. But you "pay" the sale price and not list price, right? That encourages you to keep and use what you find.
