Random question for those of you with Hero Lab. The background skill radio button has disappeared from my list. Anyone else see this? Anyone know which package it's tied to. Maybe it didn't come through with my license when I updated recently.
Larisa's role still needs to be thought through as we role play. For now, she is a companion or maybe advisor of some sort? Definitely not a consort :)
Also, wehrpig, if you send me the Cinder token image by email, I can remove the white background and make it look like the others.

Hero lab: My background skills are still present and I am running the latest hero lab version. I'm not totally sure about what radio button you are talking about. Background skills for me are tuned on under the character menu under "Configure Hero. Its a check mark from the Unchained book: Chapter 2: Skills and Options.

I'm a fool. When retraining into an Inquisitor I never rolled the hit dice for level 5. Been running ariund with 4 HD.
HD: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Oh come on.
HD Reroll: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Better.

All,
It's time to make some changes. I would like to try to separate the kingdom aspect of the game and make it optional. Let's try to move the kingdom roles/responsibility/management type discussion to the other thread to the greatest extent possible. We will reserve these pages for the quest driven exploration, combat and the non-kingdom game play. This will allow players to opt out of the kingdom management, but still enjoy the primary game.
Concerning kingdom management, I am now going to leave this completely in your hands. You may manage the kingdom turns at your own pace - I will arbitrate as necessary. You will need to make the various kingdom check rolls, manage improvements, and track the accounting - if you want to. If you don't want to, we will just hand wave it and say it is proceeding in the background. The AP is designed to be run without active kingdom management.
Let's see how this works and we will then make corrections as necessary.

Gaining
An investigator can only have one target of studied combat at a time, and once a creature has become the target of an investigator’s studied combat, he cannot become the target of the same investigator’s studied combat again for 24 hours unless the investigator expends one use of inspiration when taking the move action to use this ability.
If the investigator’s attack used a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (like a sap, whip, or an unarmed strike), he may choose to have the additional damage from studied strike be nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. If the investigator chose to make an attack with a lethal weapon instead deal nonlethal damage (with the usual –4 penalty), the studied strike damage may also deal nonlethal damage.
The investigator must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. An investigator cannot use studied strike against a creature with concealment.

He gains a total of 8 hp. His BAB and all his saves increase by 1.
His blade sense increases to +2 and he gains a rogue talent, taking Weapon Training which gives Weapon Focus Kukri.
He gains 8 skill points increasing the following:

And 2 background skills putting both points in Sleight of Hand

Wasn't aware we were using the back ground skillpoint system. Anyway I think I need to spec into something a bit more close range, one of the troubling things about ranged combat in Pathfinder, esp with crossbows is the low damage and difficulty when surrounded. Think when we get some gold and down time I'll get our resident Swordlord to give me some dueling lessons.

That's assuming you can somehow find a partially-charged wand for sale (by default you can't buy a partially-charged wand).
I only have 200 gp in my pocket. I can get 20 incendiary arrows for 10 gp and a couple tindertwigs to light them. They only do 1 point of fire damage, but that's all it takes to suppress troll regeneration for a round.

Yeah, 1 point of fire damage makes all damage it takes for 1 round lethal.

Yeah, 1 point of fire damage makes regent go away for 1 round. Massive fire damage doesnt make a difference. It can still regen it later.

Ezekiel only has about 350 gold but also has 4 alchemist fires.
Also check out Tar Bombs. At 15 gold a pop they seem like a must have for this run.

I am traveling and without a computer. Posting frommy phone. Will be home Tuesday. I cannot load the map in Roll 20 with a mobile browser. Did not know that til now. Zeke would have loved to flank but I caannot see where PCs are so did not know to try to wait for a flank or not. If reasonable he would wait and add 3d4 sneak to that damage. I am hoping we can keep from killing any of the lizard men.
