What a booooooooooring sunday...
Argan Midnight
Argan Midnight
My ticket is bought already....
Argan Midnight
Hmmm. So we're waiting on who? Eryan?
Argan Midnight
I'm gonna change this life for fortune and fame!
I'll even cut my hair and change my name!
This week has really made me bored. How was the moving Vlad? Are you living in a mansion?
Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up*
Kharn is just going to give his idea about the dwarfs to the others, and let them do what they want with it. He can't lie to save his soul so he will try to do more stealthy things right now.
Argan Midnight
Did Kharn learn anything about the complex? They are working inside there, aren't they?
Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up*
They didn't accept him into it, and he would need K. engineering to find anything out by examining the walls.
Argan Midnight
Vlad, by 'sea' do you mean the Lake, or are you completely lost as to where we are?
Argan Midnight

Tomorrow I shall be free from most of the responsibilities that have been binding me down. As such, I need a clear, concise (or detailed) write-up of what you intend to do. I've seen a lot of talking, speculation, ideas, scrutinizing, etc. It is all a little chaotic for me to pile together and I'm sure I would miss or misunderstand something. Do that and I shall do all the write-ups to launch you guys forward in the campaign.
Vladamir Orlovsky
Imo everyone should be figuring out what they would like to have accomplished by the day of the show.. Lets make a list so we can get together with one another so we can give Omen a good list by tommorrow.. I would like to:
1-Infiltrate the castle again over the next few night and cause more damage if possible.
2-Assume Belam's identity and find out what he knows and find out what he has in his personal quarters.
3-Kill or frame the dwarfs
4-Kill the patrol
5-Decide what we're gonna do about the play
Goodie Thornmaple
I thought we were going to burn the play down?
I'm all for killing the dwarves, but we don't want the play cancelled. Why don't we burn the play down and then go on a murder spree like Argan wants. I think we should spoil the food after the play for the same reason.
Argan Midnight
If we start things too early we may get reinforcements we don't want to deal with. The Hobbies cannot attack before the 15th, and the show is at the 6th day, so we might want to sabotage to cancel it.
I actually want the play cancelled. Moral and stuff. We don't even know if we could put the place on fire to begin with.
Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up*
I like the idea of dealing with the dwarfs this night and next night destroying the play. That should be around the time the patrol gets back and we will have four nights with which to attack the tower in the night. Then we can head out a day before the patrol, ambush them, and then come back in time for dealing with the rest of our problems.
Vladamir Orlovsky
Honestly i think burning the play down isnt an option.. Like Argan said we have a long wait before Fireaxe is here so we dont want that kinda heat on us for a week.. We obviously cannot take 100 guards either..
Argan Midnight
That's just a lack of initiative. Theatres are made of wood in this mileu.
I'm not sure about it Goodie. It is on the second level of the castle, deep inside. Or so I believe.
Anyway, although we could try to put it on fire with lots of people inside, certainly there will still be several dozens of guards patrolling the castle. I believe the risk is too big for us to take. Too many, too soon, aside from the unknown element. I'd like to sabotage the play so it would not happen. First, because it would make the guards and townsfolk depressed. Second, because the play is too similar to what we're doing. It might give the commanders an inside of what's happening, since the signs will be noticed, soon or later (Martin dead, an evil cleric in the choir hall, a patrol missing, dwarves dead...)
So, Goodie, since you have an opposite mind, please explain to us how, why and what would you like to do?
@Kharn: I think we have two problems with the patrol. First, we don't know exactly when they are coming back. Second, we don't even know what direction they will come back from, if we want to look for them. Ideas?

Ok so lets see how this sounds:
Eyran had a plan for the 2 captains..
Day 4 Evening - Try to entice the dwarfs outside of the town to be dealt with
Day 4 Night - Deal with Dwarfs if they take the bait, if not mischief in the castle
Day 5 Morning -
Day 5 Evening -
Day 5 Night - Watch for Bellam and if he heads into the cellar entrance take him, if not mischief in the castle/sabatogeing the play..
Any other ideas can be added, but lets get something together for Omen for days 4 and 5..
Argan Midnight
Resuming Argan's:
Day 3 Morning - Speaking with folks and got a job as Jack. Done
Day 3 Evening - Spreading rumors. Stated on gameplay
Day 3 Night - Gathering Info on rumor #9 Stated on gameplay
Day 3 Morning - Briefing with group
Day 4 evening - I'll deliver the note to the dwarves' chambers. If I feel comfortable enough (that is, if their room is isolated enough) Argan will pick the lock (disguises as #3, shamelessly called Gambit), to see what is there in the room, and he will leave the note over somewhere easy to call attention. By leaving it inside the room the dwarves will probably think its the staff of the lodge, so they will bite the bait easier. I'll lock the room on the exit and then walk around town spreading rumors.
Note again: "The guy who beat you in drinking cheated. He needs to be taught a lesson. Meet us at the border of the woods north of town when the sun sets."
Day 4 Night - Come to the place at the end of the afternoon, to wait for them. Argan (Gambit) and Kharn (on whatever disguise he wants) will wait in the open with a fire burning, while the others who have a better stealth (or who can attack at range) keep away from the range of their darkvision and wait until when they think appropriate to attack (cannot take long cause I don't have much to explain to the dwarf)
Day 5 - I have a job inside the castle, carrying stuff for the play. I'm not sure which time is it, since I haven't been told, but I might get a better understanding of the insides of the castle, that is my objective, whatever the time the job may happen. The rest of the day I'll spread my share of my hoaxes and see what else can we make depending on the action in the castle.
More detailed than this I can only get if I make too many assumptions...
My actions on the schedule are updated like this up to the 5, and are a bit vague after that.
Argan Midnight
I'm happy to know anyone actually HAVE to read the stuff I write... ^_^
Argan Midnight
Is this the real life?
Vladamir Orlovsky
I hope so.. We were rolling along there and seemed to have stalled.. This town is a serious roadblock in this AP..
Vladamir Orlovsky
Is there something else you would like from us before moving on Omen? I see you applying for other things so i was just wondering if the hold up was from something on our end?
Vladamir Orlovsky
I found it interesting but i think it would be funner at an actual tabletop not a pbp.. Not trying to sound run down because i'm not i just want us to get past this since it has obviously slowed us down considerably..
Ive updated myself on the schedule up to day 6..
Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up*
I'm waiting on the night to attack the dwarfs.
Argan Midnight
Whoa that was lucky.
I am enjoying pretty much this part, but it had indeed slowed us down. I believe you don't need to be too picky with out actions Omen. We have lots of time in our opinion so if someone don't want to do something really meaningful it's ok.
Anyway we are indeed different types of players. We will probably try a direct approach at some point, instead of just waiting for the army to come...
Argan Midnight
I suggest that the ones who can hide in the forest.
Argan Midnight
The site is killing me. Sometimes it just won't open. Is anyone having the same problem?
It was me who put the web on the map quite a while ago, but couldn't post....
Goodie Thornmaple
I did. Christmas was once a Mithran holiday for the Son of the Sun. If I recall he was a god of war and light. People who desired his blessings would be doused in the blood of a sacrifical bull.
