:Sunny:
Sunny gasps in surprise as the great hornet appears before her. She raises her equally large sword, but move defensively, backing away from the large insect.
Total Defense: AC 23
"Holy Calistra!" She exclaims, looking in awe at the large hornet.
Sunny now has a question of faith before herself.

Zeema raises her staff over her head, changes grips, and swipes sideways at the ghost corby, smashing its limp form into the nearby pillar.

Cerana takes another shot with her crossbow, but sadly misses.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
While the ghost corby retreats heavily wounded, his black comrade isn't that lucky as Gorags talon pierced his heart.
"G&@*+%ned, stop killing them!"
The rest of your foes continues in their attack.
The hornet manages to bite Sunny and one of the 2 remaining corbies sinks a claw in Gorag again.
9 Damage to Sunny, 8 to Gorag.
Zeema, I'm not completely sure whats your AC right now, your signature says 22, but you also said it was 22 before you enlarged yourself.
(But I'm also not sure how you come to that, I only get 18 (unbuffed) + 2 (Barkskin) -2 Enlarged. What am I forgetting here?)

You're correct, it's only 20 when she's big, but it does go back to 22 this turn as she's run out of uses for that ability. My bad.
"Sorry, but I tend to kill what tries to kill me!!" Zeema yells at the top of her lungs towards the Tian man.
A moment passes.
"Wait... then I'm not sorry at all!"
She feels her ley-line given powers waning, forcing her to return to her own size for the rest of the battle. This was not good. Nonetheless, she continued her assault on the Corbies, wondering why Sunny was having such trouble with just some big bug.

"Ah!" Sunny cries out in pain as the large insect sinks mandibles into flesh.
She again only steps back (5' step) and continues to act purely defensively before the large wasp. Sunny begins to whisper under her breath...
Cerana Whisperwood
Hey all, back now.
Cerana again just fires with her crossbow at the giant hornet, trying to stop it attacking her elven friend.

Zeema moves around the pillar to flank with Sunny, smacking the hornet with her quarterstaff.

Sunny whimpers a little as she holds the bite wound with one hand, defensibly swinging her great sword with the other.
"But...that's tha' point! T'is my Goddess who be angry with me!" She cries, indicating the great hornet attacking herself.
Staying defensive. Casting "Infernal Healing hence gaining 'Fast Healing 1 every round for the next minute'.
Sunny is actually pretty smart. She's just not very wise. She'll figure out eventually what's going on, but at the moment she's not quickly filling in the dots as to what's unfolding.
Gorag
This isn't your Godess, that's a summoned hornet.
Gorag makes a 5ft step to the north and attacks the giant wasp.

:Sunny:
As her magic takes effect and her wounds begin to heal, Sunny blushes in embarrassment as realization dawns on her.
"Sorry..." She whispers very contritely.
Teller of Tales
The Hornet instantly vanishes once Gorag sinks his fangs into it, the last wounded corbies leave the room.
"And thus the tragedy ends, the evil hags power unbroken and all hope lost."
The Tian man stops swinging his weapon over his head and slowly walks towards you, clapping his hands.
"Ah, magnificent. Unconventional, but great. A far better performance than what they manage alone." He glances at the dead corbies "Kinda costly though." He then completely addresses you.
"So, now to you. What do you want? If it is looting the place, well, the door back out is that way and this is your last chance. In the unlikely case that you want to join my kingdom, I'm sure we'll find a place for you."
:Sunny:
Still smarting from the weird magic hornet, Sunny shifts uncomfortably under the fellows gaze.
Spell Craft:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
"Um...m'name be 'Sunny' in'a words of folks here abouts, Sir." She says quietly. "Might we at least get ta introductions afore we gets ta doin' other things?" She asks, though she continues to wince as her wounds smart slightly. She looks to her companions,
"Whut? Nothin' says we can't be polite or nuffin'..." Is her quiet reply to any looks they may cast askance in her direction and she blushes again, obviously still embarrassed by her actions with the merely summoned insect.
So...if a minute goes past Sunny will be back to +18 HP's? Yes?.

With some healing out of the way she turns to face the strange tian man, "We are not here to plunder any of your treasures, nor join your kingdom. We have actually come to investigate why one of our friends has become ill while approaching the village, that it was. We then encountered several creatures that would be deemed evil before we found our way here."

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
To Sunny:
Like I said, Sunny, this was an summoned creature. It's disappearing proves it.
To Kikono:
Maybe, you're too fast with your words. Our friend is Tian like you and maybe, your fates are interweaved somewhere in the past.
:Sunny:
Sunny hangs her head at Gorag's words, shuffling her feet and again mumbling an apology for not putting two and two together quickly enough....Then she glances shyly towards Kikonu.
"Are ye rilly all'a way from over there?" She asks intrigued.
Teller of Tales
He eyes Sunny and then Gorag narrowly "Yes, I am and no they can't, not if she's human and alive at least."
He then turns to Cerana "What is the world without the mind that probes it? Nothing, there is no point. What it all comes down to is sensation, consummate the world by experiencing it, create and consume it at once. For that moment is the only point it matters, all before and after is nothingness. And sensation is inherently without fixed value, pain or ecstasy, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that it is."
:Sunny:
Sunny moves away slowly, her lips moving silently as she obviously replays the man's words and thinks upon what he's said.
"Hey!......." She spins and stares at the fellow, "Whut d'ye mean by sayin' 'Not human'?" She asks.
Zeema Domh'an
"Your words are pretty, but your actions have shown us otherwise about your soul, Kikono. I am not so inclined to let it pass that your minions have attacked us and that you may be actively harming our companion. So I ask: Will you help her or no?"
Cerana Whisperwood
"Hmm interesting viewpoint, so in essence you say you are living in the moment. I can understand that, well I must say I would love to continue this conversation with you though like my friends say here we are here to help someone else. Perhaps we might continue this another time." She bows.
"Tell me Kikono, what does this castle do to those Tian human and alive I wonder?"
Teller of Tales
He ignores Sunnys question.
"The caste? Nothing, why? And I've got no ties to Tian anymore, at least since a few decades now."
As Zeema speaks up he starts to laugh, a high pitched, unnerving sound.
"Is that supposed to be thread? How highly entertaining." He suddenly sounds quite serious again."And inappropriate. You might have entertained me so far, but don't assume to much. Also, I don't know her and have no reason to do anything about whatever happened to her." The way he spoke, that was clearly a threat.
:Sunny:
Sunny frowns...shifting her weight from one foot to another as she politely raises a hand to get Kikono's attention.
"So...um...ye int' knowin' of anything about tha' place whut might be causin' our freind ta' be havin' canaptions, then?" She asks, then frowns adding quietly,
"An' ye din't answer me as ta' whut ye meant by that 'Not human' jib, neither..." Suny pouts.
Cerana Whisperwood
"Ah but Kikono, I have to ask. This castle, you have likely lived here a long time or maybe you were here briefly when allied with the Tian. What would you say it's like in this fleeting moment now? Any ideas? What is this area, this castle capable of?" Cerana asks trying a different tack to gain information.
Diplomacy if needed: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
I'm trying to see if he knows what the castle could have done to harm our friend. As I can clearly tell he isn't going to help her directly, so I'd like to know the cause of her plight as that might help. If I'm barking up the wrong tree tell me.
Teller of Tales
He slightly cocks his head. "The castle is just mortar and stone. Well, and a few haunts here and there, but nothing out of order, nothing that could leave the castle. But if you want to remove those stains from here, by all means be my exterminators." He then starts to look at you funny "Or do YOU know anything about my home that I might not be aware off?"
Zeema Domh'an
"Exterminator. I like the sound of that. Tell us, where might we find these pests? It may be one of these that causes our friend such harm."
Teller of Tales
"Well, there are two manifestations at the stairs up and down in the next room that just seem impossible to get rid of. And then there is that thing in the storeroom upstairs we haven't bothered with after it killed the two corbies that entered its room. Never leaves that place, so there was no need."
You are all pretty sure that he tells the truth at least about not knowing what happened to Ameiko. If you intrigue him further in that direction he might get interested, but you are not really sure if that would be a good idea.
Cerana Whisperwood
Cerana turns to whisper to the rest of the group. "Should we further explore this place then? I don't think we have to attack his man he probably won't bother us. The more I think about it the more I think he might be undead. Let's save that theory for another time though."
:Sunny:
Sunny tilts her head, frowning a little. Then glances to Cerana. With a nod to herself Sunny quickly skips up to the Tian fellow and looks closely at him.
Perception:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23(He is alive, right?)
"I dun't know." She gives Kikono a cheerful smile "I think he looks kind'a cute."
Bluff:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16(Sunny not be up'a nuffin'...nuh-uh. *Whistles innocently*)
Zeema Domh'an
Zeema responds to Cerana: "I think that might be the best idea. The more we eliminate from here, the more likely Ameiko will recover. Want to show us the way to your 'thing upstairs?' That sounds like a good place to start."
:Sunny:
"Well...he looks alive..." Sunny opines from where she's standing in front of the fellow....
"Though..I could be wrong 'bout that..." She admits in a quieter tone, even as she steps out of the way and lets the object of their attention lead them away.
Lead on, Master DM. (^_~)
Teller of Tales
He leads you through a door at the side into a big room, seemingly the former ballroom of the castle and up small, old stairs. "Please excuse that we have to take those stairs, but as I told you the main stairs are haunted."
From the balcony on top of the stairs a door leads into a big feasting hall, situated directly above the throne room you just came from.
Here you also find the surviving corbies as well as 4 more, unharmed, treating their heavy wounds.
When you enter they eye you narrowly, fearful, but once they see their master they return to their work.
He then leads you to a locked and barred door at the opposing side of the room. "Here it is, inside you'll find the apparition. I fear you'll have to break down the door."
:Sunny:
Sunnny skips along with the group,
Perception:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Gorag goes to the door and inspects it for traps or weaknesses.
