By the way, I'm just passing time until the interaction with Gerya concludes, in case you are wondering about why Muziel is meeting Dilly.

Mithral Heavy Shield and Mwk Greatsword to Penelope, Mwk Spiked Breastplate to Koliah?
See Loot Table

Penelope would be delighted to become more of a tank. She enjoyed the riot when no one could hit her. Thank you master greed, and Kolaiah for passing on the breastplate. She should pass on the sword.

I don't imagine anyone else using the greatsword. Between a monk, a kineticist, and a scythe wielder there isn't competition. Good two handed option.

Good Evening Everyone!
Ismene! Your stat line is still level 2, we hit 3... um, sometime. My memory is failing me. Maybe though when your internet was iffy. Also aren't your stats supposed to be higher. I think, and please correct me if my memory is REALLY bad, but Leads let us upgrade to a 20 point buy in attributes. Since people left us.
I noticed when I was looking at your stats wondering how badly Penelope would get beaten down if Ismene took a strong desire to correct her eating habits. Just an interesting math problem. :)

This is an update I'm posting to all my games.
Cameroon is currently experiencing some civil unrest, and I happen to be living just minutes from the border with the conflict zone. The government has shut off internet to that region, as they'd done in the past. Currently, I have access; that may change unexpectedly.
I would like to emphasize that I'm in no personal danger, but if I disappear for a little while, that's what's going on. I'm pretty mobile on weekends, so I absolutely should not be disappearing at any point for more than two weeks.

Agree, stay safe!

I believe Penelope got the Mwk Spiked Breastplate, Mithral Heavy Shield, and Mwk Greatsword. That only leaves the repeating crossbow, the mysterious leather satchel and black arrow we probably should identify before selling, and the junk arms that someone can try to negotiate if desired.

Going on vacation tomorrow morning, don't know how well I'll be able to keep up, though so bot me as needed. And have a lovely weekend!

Hey guys, I think we might have stalled out our momentum. A significant portion of that is my own fault. I realize that, for a couple of reasons, I haven't been giving this game the attention it deserves. The frrequency of my updates has steadily worsened over time, as has the quality of those updates when I've made them. I think the biggest contributing factor there is the discovery (to my own surprise) that I really, really hate the idea of a completely evil campaign. To give you guys credit, you've been such good players with amazingly interesting characters, that it took me a long time to come to this realization. But, now that I have, I find myself having to force myself to update because I don't want to let you guys down.
This isn't fair to you guys, so it is with a lot of guilty feelings that I feel I can no longer continue this campaign as GM. I apologize, both for doing it at all (I don't like being a quitter), and for not coming clean sooner when I started to have these feelings. You deserve to have a GM that actively wants to play the campaign, so if you would like to recruit a replacement GM I'd be happy to leave the campaign open until you find one. If you'd rather just close it down instead, I understand as well. Please let me know what you'd all prefer.
Sincerely, and apologetically,
Lee

Hi Lee, thanks for letting us know about your decision. Sometimes one just loses interest in a game, for all sorts of reasons. It was obvious to me that the frequency posting was going down, but I think you were still doing quite well on the quality. You did a good job playing up the different characters in town--Cimri, Zoags, Teagan, the Doctor, Cembers, and so on. The town had life in it, and that was thanks entirely to you!
On the topic of continuing or shutting down, I am open to either. I rather like Muziel and would tend to want the game to continue. But I am also quite busy these days, so it wouldn't be the worst thing to shut the game down.
Lee, if you ever decide to start up another game, I would want to apply.

No worries sir. Meaning I understand completely. I've loved this game. You've done a great job, a REALLY great job, especially since you don't like it. It's a massive MASSIVE amount of work. If you are not having fun, you should feel no guilt what so ever about wanting to stop.
That being said, I will miss you all. Your characters, posts, stories have been amazing.
Kolaiah |
I certainly understand how this can happen.
I think my preference would be to drop the game. I too have less time than I used to, and if the GM is pulling out, it seems best that I do so as well.
Sister Ismene |
Sister Ismene was a lot of fun, and this has been a great campaign while it lasted. I'm also slowly getting more and more swamped with work, and the game just wouldn't be the same with another GM. I've never had much luck with replacement GMs, as much as I appreciate their efforts.
Leed, it's been a blast, and I look forward to gaming with you (all of you) in the future. Cimri was the best friend a misanthropic devil nun could hope for!

I agree. It would be very hard for someone to take Leeds place, even if someone was willing. Good Bye Everyone, hope to see you all in the future.
