After looming behind the prisoner while the questioning is happening, when it is done, Grezzag knocks him out with the flat of his axe.
He also picks up a gun and examines it. "Should probably try out these things, seems they're the quite handy around these parts."

Zimdoz nods at Grezzag, ”Yes, but be careful. They can, well, explode in your face if you aren’t.” Zimdoz’s ears perk up at the sound of a ratfolk. ”If the smilers have captured a ratfolk, maybe his gang would ally with us if we rescued him?”

Alldur moves the pair of handaxes thrust into his belt into his pack and puts a pistol in their place. 'What do you think? Do I look at least as fierce as this bunch?' He asks, gesturing to the unconcious and dying Smilers.

"Buuuuut you're getting there!" Poshment concedes to the Wizard. "We could ask the Redteeth for help to save their ally, or we could could do it ourselves and show up with said ally! At least to me, the latter is more convincing of a reason to give us future aid."

I'm assuming you're heading in
The ridge of refuse and junk is sheer here, like the face of a cliff. A gray metal wall sits at the base of the cliff, with a sizable metallic deck protruding south from its surface. This open-air deck is sheltered by a ragged awning of furs and scrap. Metallic double doors sit in the centre of the metal wall, and above these doors protrudes a metallic armature of some sort with what appears to be a tube-shaped device fitted with a red crystal extending from the tip. A few scorch marks mar the deck's surface here and there.

Once everyone is ready (idk if there are any buffs and the like y'all want to throw up before the main event here).
"Let's hope this works! Together now!" Poshment says to his companions as he walks forward towards the doors. When he gets within shouting distance of the door, he does so. "LONG LIVE MARROW!"

”Poshment, now that we’re done with talking - I gotta check everything first. Wait wait!” Zimdoz scurries up and grabs Poshment. ”Remember, traps are everywhere in Numeria. Don’t want you getting your head blown off by a gun trap or something.” Zimdoz pats Poshment on the shoulder, cracks his knuckles, then starts his checking routine.
Standard exploration buffs are up - which means Viv and Poshment have Barkskin, Zimdoz has ant haul, heightened awareness, see invisibility, and his mutagen.
Zimdoz searches for traps, take 10 for a total of 25. Remember - he can’t find magical, but he can find and disable tech ones.

Zimdoz smirks at Poshment, "look, there's an actual cannon, pointed at your head." Zimdoz points at the turret. "Um, though, could you guide me a bit."
Zimdoz requests guidance, and once he get it, he busies himself trying to disable the thing.
Disable Device, take 10 for total of 27. If that doesn't work, use the following roll (though everyone has to stand back first!)

Moving on to H2
Old wooden benches line the west and east walls of this large room. Two ruined metal tables sit in the centre of the room, while a nook is set off by a countertop strewn with bones and bits of junk. Two grisly chandeliers, made out of hanging bundles of skulls and bones, illuminate the room with flickering yellow flame.

"Looks like they could use a new interior designer... The Feng Shui in this room is just aaalllll wrong," Poshment says as he walks into the room and pulls his gun out. "Isn't there supposed to be someone afraid of this thing in here?"

"I agree. Disgusting. To think... they would waste all this perfectly good junk!" Zimdoz looks disapprovingly at the pile.
Take 10 to search the room, for 25, looking especially to paw through the junk.

"If only we were the renovators this place desperately needs!" Poshment dramatically moans, placing a hand over one eye and against his temple. "You must be Gunshy," he continues, while making sure his secondhand gun is in full view. "Why don't you take a walk out the front doors? Things might get a little messier in here."

Zimdoz cackles in an uncharacteristic way, ”that’s the first time I’ve scared anyone with this thing. I mean it dangerous but...” Then he looks at it again, well oiled and scarred, with various custom designs and places to load in toxic fire. ”Okay, yeah it’s pretty dangerous.” Zimdoz sniffs and cleans off some of the grime. ”Would you like some lessons?”
Zimdoz will search the room, per above, now that we scared him of.

"Didn't the Frowner say the door over there is where they slept? Might as well clear that out so reinforcements don't come running from behind!" Poshment suggests. "Zimdoz, that thing does some serious work! Gunshy doesn't even know how lucky he is!"
Whichever door the party goes through, Poshment moves towards it like an action hero with his gun out. Rolling on the floor, posting up next to the door and making complex hand gestures, the works. "I can't explain why, but it just feels right, you know? There's so much power in these things!"

The air in this room smells of smokeand burnt meat. A crude stove made of a metal barrel resting atop blocks of stone sits in the middle of an open area, while numerous doors line the walls. In the room are four smilers who are very surprised to see you.

"Zimdoz, how do I use thi-" Poshment begins asking before he fires the weapon at the wall, dangerously close to Vivianne. "Sorry! First time and everything!"

If I shoot this thing, I'm assuming I take a -4 on the attack roll. How much damage does it do? Are there any special rules I should consider when using it? I figure our blender will blend these chumps in no time! Poshment's action is basically figuring out how the gun works btw.

'Well, they'll know we're here now' Alldur says, pulling out a small familiar dart and firing a bolt of acid at a Smiler.

"Okay, so first, don-" and Poshment fires the weapon, "'t aim it at someone unless you are planning on killing them, you know? Second - it's like a loud crossbow that's hard to load and more dangerous to use - Load, Point, Shoot - in that order. As you've used your shot already, it's loading time." Zimdoz grins as he scurries past, next to Vivienne, planning on using his pellet when he gets a clear shot but leaving room for others to approach.

Grezzag sees Poshment misfire, and decides a bit more pistol practice out of combat would be wise. He draws his waraxe again as he enters the room and take up position beside Vivianne.

Zimdoz scurries up and, showing Poshment 'generally' what to do, fires a blast at the two southernmost smilers.
"Dragon pistols require special training, but it's a similar principle."

Poshment holds the weapon with two hands, does his best to aim at the Smiler in the SE corner and fires. The gun almost jumps out of his hand and the Gnome scrambles to catch it. "I don't think I'm qualified to use this thing!" he admits, a new burn mark present in the ceiling.
