The Drow live on the Surface, and a priest of the Lawful Good god Balserius has gone missing, will the players find him, or go murderhobo around, I guess we will find out.

"What use is a goblin if not as a scout? Lighting things on fire. Seriously, I'm great at that. Oh, by the way, there's a really thin wire right here, kind of like a trip wire. It's probably a trap of some kind. Anyone know how to disarm them?"
Zaknador looks back as the other are discussing things about the secret door behind a book case.
Did he really just say "just like the reading books", way to think outside the box oh entitled one.
He then walks over to the young priest and stands a few feet behind him. He waits patiently for the man to finish and when he does he simple asks his questions. He wonders what it is this man is praying about.

Young man, Father Dawnsinger and I had an arrangement that never was met, as you most likely know I have had dealings with your church in the past. I was to have a large prayer book delivered to me some weeks ago. That book never arrived and the person that was to deliver said property never received it from Father Dawnsinger. I have paid in full for said book and have come here to retrieve my property. I am able and willing to aid in the search for Father Dawnsinger. The man had always be generous to me. Now can you show me to my property and I will help in the recovery of Father Dawnsinger.

Goroglak shrugs and says, "Okay, well, there's a really fine tripwire right here. So, everyone be really careful as you go past it. If you set it off, it'll probably do something deadly and let whoever set it know we're coming." Goroglak makes sure to point the trip wire out and looks to see if everyone is paying attention. "Hey weren't there three of you drow? I only see two of you in the room. Where's the other one?"
Vel shrugs, "He'll catch up since we have to watch for traps. Besides this Father Dawnsinger chances of living decrease for every time allotment we waste. That means less reward and glory for us."

Goroglak stops, listening for a moment, before whispering, "I hear the sound of running water - like a river or something. Any of you know if there's an underground water source under the city?"

Zak: he finishes his prayer and looks to you as you ask your question. His head nods, "I believe your book is in the holy room allow me to retrieve it," he heads back in the door he emerged from. Seconds later he returns holding a book bound in white leather, "I believe this belongs to you now."
(Make knowledge Geography checks to know if there are any bodies of water underground around here)
Malkaer shrugs. This wasn't his city, and he never took the time to learn about the geography of the area. Looking over at his fellow drow, he said "we're wasting our time here. We should find out who had the most to gain from the priest's death and go lean on some people until we get the answers we need."
Storing his book Zaknador walks back over to the secret door and looks in.
Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31
Stepping over the trip wire he walks down the hallway to the steps to see the others heading down the steps.

As no one answers about the underground water source, Goroglak shrugs and, holding up a hand to indicate the rest should stay in place, cautiously sneaks forward to get a better look.

In a whisper Velkyn responds, "Well, this is the first time I have been down here so I have no knowledge of this place." Then stays put and watches Goro but keeps his head on a swivel for danger.

Zulan says to Goroglak: "I'm not familiar with this region. I have seen rivers flowing underground for miles before, but I can't remember if there are any rivers near this City." A little late but not very helpful anyway.

Goroglak you round the corner and see a faint shape in the distance and the lapping of water grows louder. Then the sound of a scream fills the cavern.
Zaknador stops as the others continue forward. He tries to see what it is that is screaming.

Goroglak moves closer and the shape becomes more distinct, it is now that your realize the sound of screaming seems to be coming from a frigate on the shore of an underground River.
I will be away for the next week and will be limited in my postings. I can still post everyday but my post will be limited in content as I will have a limited data plan until I return home.

Zulan tries to identify what or who is screaming. He will try to help anyway whether it's the missing priest or not. But it doesn't hurt to know what awaits them.

You all approach the Frigate, but a loose pebble clatters down the path, luckily there do not seem to be any guards at the ship. The scream sounds again, this time those if you that speak both common and undercommon can understand that the voice is begging for mercy in a Hodge podge of the languages, and the accent is definitely a surface elf.

"Sounds like a surface elf. Father Dawnsinger was human, right?" Goroglak whispers to the taller folk, trying to decide if it would be worth saving the elf.
Is there a gangway to get up to the boat, or would we have to climb?
Male Emberkin (Aasimar with Peri-Blooded heritage) Wizard 5
"An elf? Hmm, we should help him and find out who he is and what he knows about Father Dawnsinger." Could this be the elf I promised to find? There are probably many enslaved elves in Kev'ronn but I have to find out wether or not it's Farnan who is screaming
DM Castel Blades, I am enjoying this campaign so far. I am wondering if we the players are not doing things the way you wish. Do you have a way that you wish us to post or anything that you wish us to do? I only ask because I would love for this game to move faster. Is there anything we can do to help you along with this game?
I am sorry to say but this campaign looks to be another bust. A week with no post from the DM is not a good sign. So if nothing happens by Monday I will be dropping out of the game. Sorry It was a good idea and looked to be fun. PBP games tend to go slow and I understand that real life is in the front seat but I do not like to waste my time on a campaign that is going this slow. Good luck everyone.
Since it appears people are dropping, I will drop too unless I/we receive news that we will continue with more activity. If this is the end, please mark the campaign as inactive?
