"Trackers... trackers like us, yes. But also different. Can hide as people. They not come with us... follow river... many days ago, maybe they already find something. Maybe they defeated too." He seems unwilling to talk much about them... and by the way he sneers as he speaks, it even seems that he dislikes the "trackers."

"What do you mean by 'hide as people'? Do they change from one form to another?"

I haven't disappeared so much as been snowed under with real-life, anyway...

Corvus glares at the ape as Ceer asks the last question. She is obviously hoping her presence will influence the creature's willingness to answer fully.

Intimidate roll 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Garboko is clearly disconcerted by Corvus' presence and averts his eyes from her gaze out of respect. "They are humans who have made a pact with our King... they can walk as apes or as men... and they answer only to the King. There are three of them. Even mighty Garboko must obey. They send Garboko here to camp while two follow river. And one go south, to man-city."

Ceer turns towards the others..."So should we follow the 2 going along the river? I think they will give us a better chance of tracking down Tameka."

"That's probably the best course of action," Rheed says to Ceer, before turning back to Garboko, "What do these trackers look like in their human forms? When they walk as men?"

FYI...I'll be out of town until Monday.

"Two are large men, brothers... look very similar... about six feet tall, broad and dark of hair and skin. Other is woman, she smaller, light-skinned, and she in charge. Wears golden scarf. She go to Nantambu, brothers go on river."

"To the river or to Nantambu," Mo'butu questions the rest of the team.

"We need to follow the ones that went along the river towards the Nightfall Station, to find Tameka," Rheed answers quickly, then continues after a brief pause, and Kaeviel, too. But we should tell Dardin about this golden scarfed woman so he can deal with her when he returns.

"Agreed...let's go tell Dardin what we found out and then make our way to the river."

Ku'ada nods in agreement, "We will deal with those who carry the stone first."

hey guys, sorry for the delay. i was in a bike accident monday afternoon and my left arm/hand are mostly out of commission for about 2 weeks. typing is a fairly laborious process and writing is out of the question as i am left handed. i hate to take a break from a pbp i'm running because i know how these things can lose momentum pretty fast, but as it is i don't think i will be able to keep up very well with this and the other games that i am in. i will keep you all up to date on my recovery and i hope we can get moving with part II once i am in better condition. sorry guys :(

Thanks for letting us know Mike. Hope you feel better. I had to take a break for carpel tunnel a few months ago, so I feel your pain.

I'll be lurking, so just post when you are ready and I'll see it.
