And thus, you two are frozen for about two hours as the actual reenactment is taking place now, as you have to travel there.

Alright, Derrick, you have the initiative, but he has drank the potion. If you want to stay out of his charge range, you'll have to take cover inside the building.

Derrick lets out a sigh. so be it, Show me your strength.

Derrick smiles as he slides back into the building.

he forms the symbol of Irori in the air, and asks for his aid yet again.

Meh... totally missed your last post

~~ Estate Hills of Saringallow ~~

Natty delivers his findings to Detective Dekker. "The scrawled words were meant to ruin any attempts at divination. I was able to decipher it with Lord Cruor's collection. If I can be of any more assistance... let me know, will you?"

M SRO Operative 6: EAC:20, KAC:22, Init:6, Speed:50 20 climb, Fort:3, Ref:9(evasion), Will:6 (+4 vs effects that target only humanoids) Perc:13, darkvision

that is fine with me, it is worth it for max

do you need an intelligence check to show memory for max to reenact every move of the battle? int: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (14) = 17

"How many limbs do you think that thing will have to lose before it gets a clue?" Notch-ear calls out to no one in particular, grinning.

"Preparing the field... The true tactic of a wise warrior... Let us hope your ferocity is not inferior to your wisdom.." The wolf slowly stalks into the room, eventually backing Derrick into a corner.

"BEGIN!"

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

The Wolf Rider's average strike is easily evaded by Derrick.

~~ Iron Prowl ~~

You hear shouting from above decks, and the ship lurches to the side as a heavy weight is applied to one side.

Perception 10 to hear the exact words.

Indeed,
Derrick draws his finger across his blade, holding it up level with his head, before stepping up to the rider bringing his blade around in an arc, keeping it between him and the rider attempting to measure the rider more.

attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 2 + 2 - 4 = 21

damage: 1d10 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10

5ft step into range, attack vs the goblin fighting defensively for now. AC 21.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Guided by fate and a deity's hand, the blow almost strikes true before Wolf Rider barely manages to block with a last second shield maneuver.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Wolf Rider is too busy recoiling from the strike to launch an effective enough counter to Derrick.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 4

Hearing shouts but not the exact words, Notch-Ear heads for the ship's deck, expecting anything. Scout follows along closely, struggling to stay upright as the ship lurches, and barking madly.

M elf cleric 3 HP:20/20 AC:18 T:13 FF:15 CMB:+1 CMD:+15 Fort: +3 Ref: +4 Will:+7 Int:+3 Perception:+11

Derrick smiles at the surprising skill of the strange goblin. However he learned all he needed about his style from the strike.

I won't beat you fighting while holding back it seems. Very well. You are indeed, an exemplar of your people. But it ends here!

He brings his blade around in a flash of speed, using the momentum of the goblins parry to strengthen his own strike.

attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 = 27
crit confirm: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 2 = 29 so the fates decree!

damage: 2d10 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (8, 4) + 10 + 4 = 26

"GAAAHHHCKK!" The Wolf Rider falls from his wolf, and the beast, not particularly loyal to its master, flees the battlefield.

The goblin barely manages to raise his head, "Hah... Hah... Exemplar of worthless trash... Defeated in one hit... Haaagghghkk.... Her name.. Well... She goes by Liliath..." With that, the goblin ceases clinging to consciousness, and his head lowers back against the ground.

~~ Iron Prowl~~

As Lhyrnyr rises to the deck, he is faced with a whirling storm of scythe-ended limbs, raised over the deck slashing at everything in sight. The body to which they are attached, a huge amalgamation of bone in a mockery of a humanoid form, is perched on the side of the ship, its weight pulling the vessel's deck towards it at about a 15 degree angle.

"Everyone not a warrior, get out of here!" Sister Purnoma is at the ready in a warrior stance as she waits for an opportunity to strike through the storm of whirling limbs.

"Yeah, save all the fun for us!" Sister Valeria doesn't have her armor on, but has a long blade drawn.

Valeria Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Purnoma Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Huge Necrocraft Init: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13

"Scout, you stay here." Notch-Ear says as he steps out onto the deck. The hyena does as instructed, taking shelter inside the ship.

"Any of youse have a clue what that thing is?"

M elf cleric 3 HP:20/20 AC:18 T:13 FF:15 CMB:+1 CMD:+15 Fort: +3 Ref: +4 Will:+7 Int:+3 Perception:+11

Derrick lowers his blade before walking to the fallen warriors side. He kneels down and chants a prayer to Irori.

I'll not let him die if my power can prevent it.

A healing light flows from Derrick's symbol washing the fallen warrior in its light.

2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 should keep him from dieing at least since he auto stabilizes.

Derrick struggle to lift the goblin warrior and carry him to the door. So the ones he brought with him can see. If they flee like most goblins would, he would lay him against the wall and redraw my sword, once again channeling healing magic of Irori.

2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

"It will be dust. Is Sister Purnoma's answer

Sister Purnoma senses a momentary opening in the whirling blade arms and dashes straight down the tilted deck. Sliding under a close call before suddenly flipping into the air over another, she strikes at the necrocraft's "shoulder", her fists glowing with a strange, blood colored energy.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 251d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
1d4 + 4d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + (2, 5, 6, 5) + 3 = 241d4 + 4d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + (4, 4, 1, 4) + 3 = 18

The shoulder of the beast, true to Purnoma's words, turns to dust under the arcane force of the strike, leaving two of its limbs to writhe and flail through the air, unconnected to the necrocraft, one falling in the water while the other falls to the deck and hangs lifeless against the railing.

"RAAAAAGH!" Valeria's charge is much less agile and articulate.

AoO: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The blow easily strikes true against her unarmored form, but the spilling of her own blood seems to drive Valeria into a furious flurry of swings.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 251d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 101d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Her longsword seems to only deal scratch damage against the bones of the necrocraft.

The remaining three arms begin a flurry of strikes, most focused at the source of the necrocraft's pain.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 291d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 161d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 101d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Two strikes land true, one on Purnoma, one on Valeria. Despite only being hit once, Purnoma is almost sent to her knees by the blow. The immense power of her fists seems to be matched by a frailty of body.

~~ Burnt Farmhouse, Umok ~~

The first wave of healing not only stabilizes the goblin warrior, but brings him back into consciousness.

"The... What? Um." The Wolf Rider looks up at Derrick kneeling over him.

He's at 1 HP. :P

Notch-Ear steps out onto deck and sizes up the situation. He runs over to Sister Purnoma, admiring the powerful result of her attack, and places a hand on her shoulder, channeling restorative energy to help her stand strong.

Lay on Hands, Greater Mercy: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5) = 11

"Don't falter."

M elf cleric 3 HP:20/20 AC:18 T:13 FF:15 CMB:+1 CMD:+15 Fort: +3 Ref: +4 Will:+7 Int:+3 Perception:+11

you fought well, and perhaps if it were not for my magic, would have won. Perhaps your way is to let the loser die, but there are different paths. Sometimes, true strength, is not knowing how to take a life, but when to spare one.
Derrick smiles at the goblin. Then stands

besides, you are to come with me. I have much I wish to speak to you about, and very little of it revolves around this farmstead. Perhaps now you are willing to talk?
He speaks in a friendly manner then
He extends his left hand down towards the goblin for him to take.

"??? I guess I have nothing left to me at this point." The goblin stands on his own, not taking the hand.

AoO for Lhyrnyr to get in range to Lay on Hands: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Giving a nod to Lhyrnyr, Purnoma jumps off ship to get one flanking attack on the being, unfortunately, this lands her in the water.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Uh oh, confirm: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Damage: 2d4 + 4d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + (6, 5, 4, 5) + 6 = 29

The strange energy around her fists flares again, and with a devastating strike, much of the creature's lower body snaps and breaks, two more limbs falling into the water.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Valeria chips away at it a little more, clearly enjoying herself despite the blood flowing from her body.

1d3 ⇒ 1

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

The giant bone construction has been blasted to bits by Purnoma's fists, having most of its body mass crushed away and fallen off. It focuses a desperate last strike on the source of most of it's pain, landing a blow that nearly sends her unconscious. She will float away from the battle due to the ship's movement at 15 ft per round.

Lilyenne arrives on the top deck.

Init for next round: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

"Okay down there in the water? Need a hand?"

Notch-Ear appears entirely unfazed by the beast's strike. Keeping an eye on the combatant who fell off the ship, should she need his help, he instead approaches the necrocraft and attempts to finish it off once and for all.

Greatsword Power Attack Charge: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (4, 2) + 9 = 15

good. Now then, lets head back to the city, A friend of mine would also like to speak with you. The one you defeated the other day.

he picks of the goblins spear. This, I will give back to you once we are within the town. I fear they may get a little jumpy if you approach with it. well, lets get going friend.

he starts to head out of the burnt house and turns to regard the goblin.

"You're crazy, but I wonder how you'll manage to keep the Gnomes from killing me... Eh, this'll be fun to see, at the least." The goblin follows.

~Team tracking down Cydonius arrives at the farmhouse as the people at the farmhouse reach the city.~

~~Ship Team~~

Lhyrnyr is unable to strike the writhing necrocraft solid.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 261d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Sister Lilyenne rushes in and deals the final blow to the nearly defeated Necrocraft.

"Nn.... A rope would be nice." Can be heard from the water below.

Alright, plot should be picking up for Natty shortly.

Notch-ear seeks out rope on the ship and throws one end of it to Sister Purnoma, keeping ready to pull her up once she grabs it.
