Radomir Shax |

It may be wise to have fire to burn away any webs that bar our path. And, I cannot see in the dark. But, if Andrea can produce light...

Alexander Orlovsky |

A Light spell and perhaps a candle then. Burning away webs when the walls are likely to be covered in them might get...problematic. He smiles slightly, seemingly remembering something, Also, torches and small enclosed spaces do not go well together.
Alexander draws his sword and steps near the hole, looking in. After you, Radomir. Whenever you're ready.

The Winds of Fate |

As you descend into to the deeply sloping downward tunnel, you notice that the wall are indeed coating with the webbing of the spider. After walking down it for roughly forty feet, the tunnel opens up into into a larger nest area. The room is roughly six feet high and thirty by thirty feet across, though it is hard to just the exact measurements since this room is also covered in webbing. It rather gives off the effect of being inside a giant cocoon.
In the middle of the room, you can see what you are think are three bodies and they appear to be moving a bit.

The Winds of Fate |

Since after this round you are down to only two injured spiders, we can go ahead and call it since you should be able to down them in the next round.
With the web-strewn underground nest now littered with the bodies of the juvenile giant spiders, your group is free to investigate it or leave at your leisure.

Alexander Orlovsky |

Alexander steps forward, his sword held aloft in front of him, and watches for more spiders.
Let's hope that's all of them.
He waits patiently while the others search, making sure that nothing jumps out to harm his allies.

The Winds of Fate |

Taking your time is fine, nothing else interrupts your searching.
On the corpses you find: A silver Stag Lord amulet worth 20 gp, a set of studded leather armor and two sets of regular leather armor, a pouch containing 16 gp, a short sword, a short spear, a hand axe and a scrap of paper tucked in the bandit’s left boot that bears a simple drawing of a claw-shaped dead tree atop an otherwise barren hill, with an “X” scrawled in blood.

Radomir Shax |

Radomir nods. We have done well this day. It seems the Stag Lord's minions fill these lands. The sooner we rid end him the safer these woods will be.

Alexander Orlovsky |

Loot updated!
And a map. Perhaps we should keep an eye out for something like this...tree? Is that a tree? Or...no, I think it's supposed to be a tree. He frowns quizzically as he looks at the drawing.

Soren Bowman |

Soren takes the paper, scratching the stubble on his chin as he ponders the image.
Do you think this is a map? Or a message?
He hands it to Alexander to look at, and tries to think of anywhere he knows of that fits that description.

He presents it, and his information, to the group.
