Wait, are we getting max hit points or average?

I think fox said half + 1. Aster will go to level 4 oracle, level 2 SPELLS! It will take me a little to level though.

Extra Hex is always a great one, Rexi. Combat advice is lovely as well.

DM Intervention 1/1

Half+1

I don't have any specific recommendations off the top of my head. Perhaps
- A buff you can resort to when healing and hexes aren't really an option
- Some additional resiliency (AC, hp, a saving throw)
- A skill focus or similar feat
Pretty sure you know all this. I'm not an optimizer kind of person. I give my enemies Skill Focus (diplomacy)

Female Tiefling Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | HP 40/40 | AC 13 T 13 FF 10 | Fort +5 Ref +6 Will +7 | Initiative +3 | Perception +9 | Witch Spells: 1st—7/7 2nd—4/6 3rd—2/4 | Conduit Surge 3/4

Ooo, I have a note saying it was max - I'll change my hit point total.

DM Intervention 1/1

It's only max up to level 3, after which it's half+1
I suppose that should go on the homebrew list

human/wererat (Tian-Dan) lunar oracle 5 AC:21/13/18 HP:34/39 F:+2 R: +4 W: +7 Init: -1 Perception: +11 spells: level 2 4/5, level 1 0/7, gift of claw and horn 6/6, disguise DC 19

Aster is going up in intelligence (her fourth level so attribute increase!) any suggestions for a language? She has Tien, Minkaian and Varisian since she was a travelling merchant and all.

DM Intervention 1/1

I think Skrittish would fit you best. That's the language of the Skritt, the mousefolk of the sewers. You'll never be able to speak it on the level they do, but it's sure to win you some bonuses.

DM Intervention 1/1

Or you could go for Aklo, which would suit your lunar oracle class

human/wererat (Tian-Dan) lunar oracle 5 AC:21/13/18 HP:34/39 F:+2 R: +4 W: +7 Init: -1 Perception: +11 spells: level 2 4/5, level 1 0/7, gift of claw and horn 6/6, disguise DC 19

Yes, mousefolk of the sewers sounds awesome! Thanks.

Okay done I think. 2nd level spell was the hardest.

oracle level 4

+1 base attack, CMB/CMD

spells learned - 0 create water, 2 cure moderate wounds, dust of twilight, summon monster II
+5 hit points from class, +1 from con

+1 to acrobatics, bluff, diplomacy, disguise, heal, know(dungeon), know(nature), know(planes), know(religion), perception, sense motive, survival
2 background skills

I'm willing to eat the price of the burial out of my share - it's not a huge hit to our WBL but I know that saving pennies is kind of important to Pathfinder, and this became Rexandi's personal cause, I guess. :)

I say we split it evenly - Ederion wants to pay a part of the expenses.

Aster is good with that, the dividing evenly and Shelyn burial. She doesn't want the boy to be turned into a political cause, without the mother's approval that is.

DM Intervention 1/1

So that would be 40gp from each of you.

Is anyone opposed to a Shelyn burial?

human/wererat (Tian-Dan) lunar oracle 5 AC:21/13/18 HP:34/39 F:+2 R: +4 W: +7 Init: -1 Perception: +11 spells: level 2 4/5, level 1 0/7, gift of claw and horn 6/6, disguise DC 19

Not opposed.

DM Intervention 1/1

I really hope to see Tarn pop on here soon. I'd be really sad to lose him.

He's not posting in his other games, so real life must be getting him pretty hard.

So what are the options to do next, beside bathes and breakfast. Go back to the headquarters, see our love ones, go back and finish exploring the place we just left, and/or ???

Info:
HP 47/47; Initiative +4; AC/Touch/FF 22/16/18; Fort/Ref/Will 3/11/6; CMD 21; Perception +16; Effects:

As far as Ederion is concerned, breakfast and bathing then go finish exploring that underground complex.

DM Intervention 1/1

*Dives back in time to read the previous in game day, which was at the start of May*

Okay, here are some recommendations:
- Check in with Laria and Rexus
- Dive back into the dungeon
- Rest and recover (mainly for Tarn and Ederion)
- Setrona revealed the location of the ex-lictor of the Torrent
- You guys are still plotting the demise of three specific medium-ranking Dottari
- Search for the Poison Pen of Kintargo
- Sabotage Vespam Artisan, they're making firearms for the Dottari

Don't forget that you may summon the thieves or the freedom fighters to aid you, but you'll have to send a message to Laria/Rexus and wait for them.

One thing I do really enjoy about this AP is that it's fairly open regarding what you want to tackle first.

Female Tiefling Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | HP 40/40 | AC 13 T 13 FF 10 | Fort +5 Ref +6 Will +7 | Initiative +3 | Perception +9 | Witch Spells: 1st—7/7 2nd—4/6 3rd—2/4 | Conduit Surge 3/4

I think we check in with Laria and Rexus first, see if any pressing issues have come up while we were away. If not, we finish the funeral arrangements, then finish exploring the dungeon. If something urgent has come up we tackle that instead.

After dungeon I would suggest:
* Vespam Artisan sabotage (this potentially affects the entire dottari supply chain)
* Medium-rank dottari (could get us more actionable intel if we get notes from them)
* Poison Pen

human/wererat (Tian-Dan) lunar oracle 5 AC:21/13/18 HP:34/39 F:+2 R: +4 W: +7 Init: -1 Perception: +11 spells: level 2 4/5, level 1 0/7, gift of claw and horn 6/6, disguise DC 19

sabotage sounds good, after the dungeon. Torrent would be Aster's second choice, gaining allies is always good. But we can decide that once the dungeon is done.

Does anyone need healing? Aster does, so will do a cure light wounds on herself.

DM Intervention 1/1

One thing you guys could use to check in with Laria and Rexus to save time would be to use a Silver Raven figurine. Travel through the districts takes roughly half an hour on foot (delays notwithstanding), but a flying figurine might take... 5 minutes per district?

The funeral is already arranged, unless you would like to recommend a certain procession or event to take place.

Oh and I forgot that you guys had discovered the location of the River Talons thieves guild.

How much rest would Ederion and Tarnagius need to fully recover?

Also, will you be playing Tarn for now Fox?

Female Tiefling Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | HP 40/40 | AC 13 T 13 FF 10 | Fort +5 Ref +6 Will +7 | Initiative +3 | Perception +9 | Witch Spells: 1st—7/7 2nd—4/6 3rd—2/4 | Conduit Surge 3/4

Can long-term care from the Heal skill speed the process?

DM Intervention 1/1

Ederion and Tarnagius just need one more night's sleep to fully recover. I don't think long term care will really affect them at this rate, since they'd be healed anyway. It would be like using long term care to help someone regain 2hp when they're already 5th level.

Yeah I could bot Tarn. His character is a lot more simple than when Kethaera had 3 archetypes. Infinitely more useful than bringing Vendalfek with you.

M Human Fighter 2

Vendalfek is offended!

Info:
HP 47/47; Initiative +4; AC/Touch/FF 22/16/18; Fort/Ref/Will 3/11/6; CMD 21; Perception +16; Effects:

Ok, in that case Ederion's suggestion will be a 'light' day today (gathering intel, meeting others, etc), then a good night sleep, and tomorrow back to the dungeon.

Don't have many suggestions on what the activities could be since he has just arrived :D

DM Intervention 1/1

Okay so that's:
- 1 for a day of downtime (Ederion)
- 1 for check in + dungeon (Rexandi)
- 1 for dungeon + sabotage (Aster)

Female Tiefling Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | HP 40/40 | AC 13 T 13 FF 10 | Fort +5 Ref +6 Will +7 | Initiative +3 | Perception +9 | Witch Spells: 1st—7/7 2nd—4/6 3rd—2/4 | Conduit Surge 3/4

Oh, to be clear, if people need the recovery time we should do that before we hit any more dungeons or battles.

DM Intervention 1/1

Sorry I can't brain today, I have the dumb
Totally forgot about gems and some of the other misc items
Thanks Rexandi. I think with that vote we're going to do a day of lightwork. So appraisals, buying/selling, searching for more rumours, scouting maybe, research, resting, carousing, and anything else you can think of that likely will not toss you into dangerous situations.

*Makes 3rd mug of coffee and will return shortly*

DM Intervention 1/1

Oh and to answer your question Ederion, no more work needed on the sentient ring. That's something that Tarnagius will have to work out by wearing it at the right time/place.

Female Tiefling Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | HP 40/40 | AC 13 T 13 FF 10 | Fort +5 Ref +6 Will +7 | Initiative +3 | Perception +9 | Witch Spells: 1st—7/7 2nd—4/6 3rd—2/4 | Conduit Surge 3/4

Playing to stereotypes, the plague belt seems like a fit for our wererat.

Bazzle is down for either resting some or dungeoning. I am going to invest in a light crossbow if the opportunity arises.

What?!? Stereotyping, Rexi, Aster is ashamed. Plus anything called plague rat probably reeks, so if it is this with a +2 constitution, seems like it would be better for someone with a lower ac that pops into melee quite often. Bazzle?

I am game for whatever. I will take if others don't want it. Bazzle is often in danger so it can't hurt.

DM Intervention 1/1

Yeah it's a lot like that, Aster. I don't know where I got the idea of using it to inflict poisons and diseases, but I did.

I don't think anyone is fighting you for it, Bazzle. Only thing I'll say is that it probably smells... off.

DM Intervention 1/1

I'll update Tarn and write the funeral post later. Busy day today (not a good busy) and I'm running behind schedule.

Those were some really great montages, DM. Thanks for doing that in the middle of a hectic day.

DM Intervention 1/1

You're welcome, Rexandi and Ederion.

Yesterday was awful. I'm just glad that I got some good posts in. Today I have much more free time on my hands, which may or may not be used for sleep.

human/wererat (Tian-Dan) lunar oracle 5 AC:21/13/18 HP:34/39 F:+2 R: +4 W: +7 Init: -1 Perception: +11 spells: level 2 4/5, level 1 0/7, gift of claw and horn 6/6, disguise DC 19

Great work on the funeral Fox and the speech Ed. Are we all ready to go dungeon diving?

DM Intervention 1/1

Thanks Aster. I've had the good fortune to never have attended any kind of funeral before, so this was a little awkward for me. I did wake up in the middle of the night with the thought "You didn't tell them that you buried him!" But I figured it was a non-pressing matter so I went back to sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

So in case anyone is wondering, Darrak will be buried in the gardens that are located in the middle of Temple Hill. The temple of Asmodeus looks over them (they do it for the PR), and there have been 0 confirmed cases of undead rising from the graves ever since they took on that role.

Just to remind you, I will be botting Tarn. He's going to be under-leveled compared to you, but I refuse to kill characters when the player is unavailable (I want them to see it with their own eyes!). So while you may have an immortal fighter in the group, please do take his hitpoints seriously.

You can still have the Salty Labourers accompany you into the dungeon, or have the Skritt Squad scout the area.

What is the Skritt Squad? :D

Thanks for botting Tarn Fox, we do need a strong frontliner...

So, our loot is identified, but not yet sold/moved, correct?

Aster Cobblestone wrote:

Thanks Aster, neither me nor Ederion are any good at it though :D

I am good to go dungeon delving ;)

DM Intervention 1/1

Skritt Squad are the first team that the group recruited in the early days of the campaign. They are a team of Skritt (mousefolk) who were hiding in Laria's abandoned hideout (the Wasp Nest) when Tarnagius, Pylos, Kethaera, and Jules first arrived. Oh and Rexus too.

They are a team of rogues specializing in stealth, thievery, and soon: sabotage. Their leader in named Derratata. They are not recommended for multiple fights.

DM Intervention 1/1

I forgot your other question: Loot has been identified, but not sold (except for the loose gems, they've been cashed in). I'll make some updates and put stuff in the Silver Raven Coffers tab. I think it's fine for me to assume that you've stashed most of it in the Wasp Nest before going back into the dungeon for seconds.

Okay so Loot List and Silver Raven Coffers have been updated. I've put the money in the big stash, so just take what you want to have on person. I've added all the things you found in the dungeon to the Coffers. Feel free to sort through them regarding what you want to keep or sell. Perhaps we could recruit a merchant or fence to sell all your goodies for you.

Could Aster have the quick runner's shirt? In case she ever needs to move a little faster in a critical moment.

Aster started with a ring of protection +1, but her ac is pretty healthy, having a shield and medium armor. I think it would be better suited for Bazzle to get his AC. Since you and Ed are out principle damage dealers. Is that alright?

Bazzle would say, "Shield I need to stick 'em twice to keep up." He motions striking with both hands. If I get really good maybe I can get a third in there. He starts juggling his daggers.
