Appearance:

Long silver hair, green eyes, dark skin, and a sleek lythe body. She cuts a stunning figure in her ragged adventurers cloths due too her robust lifestyle. Living and working in the jungle she is not always well kemp, however she often paints her face.

Personality:

Having been raised by panthers, she is somewhat awkward around people. She is however a very social person. This is one of her most unique feature as her playful social nature wars with her competative predatory upbringing. This conflict often results in her being seen as creepy. She is also impulsive and curious which has and continues to leed her into interesting situations.

Character Backstory:

Born to a pair of adventurous anthropologists she was a happy curious and willful babe. When she was barely 5 years old her parents went on an expedition in to the Mwangi to study its long extinct civilizations, they were never seen again. They left her with her aunt and uncle when they went on this expedition. After 3 months with no word her aunt and uncle told her that her parents were dead, funerals were held and after a few months life returned to normal. However she could never accept her parents death, biding her time until she could go find them herself. So she waited two years and 3 months after her 7 birthday she went into the jungle to search for her parents. Being young, impulsive and inexperienced she soon became lost in the jungle. Wandering for nearly three days on end, she finally stumbled across a litter of Panther Cubs. She immediately decide to play with the rather large kitties, it was starting to get dark and cold. Freezing she lied down with the kitties enjoying their body heat. When she awoke to find the mother Panther starring down at her she was terrified. Luckily the mother Panther took her in and raised her as one of her own.

Eventually when she turned 15 her curiousity along with her desire to find a suitable mate led her to leaving the jungle to visit the city. Once in the city it became apparently clear that she needed money todo almost anything. So using what skills she had she became a guide/hunter. Living and working in the jungle only returning to the city for clandestine liaisons, information about her parents, and more work. Continuing this way for another 6 years until hearing about this famous expedition into the Mwangi, and applying with the hope that she might be able to find more information about her parents disappearance.

Why this game?:

I have had this character stuck in my head for almost a year now. It was good to finally start to flesh it all out. I like the setting and I have always been interested Mwangi jungle.

Recruitment is Closed!

All right so it is time to select my players. I was going to skip the part where I talk about how hard it was to pick players, but I won’t despite it being cliche.

Because it was really hard. I had enough ‘good’ characters to probably make three solid parties. So I spent a few hours mixing, matching people (and motivations) to try and get the best story, the best party and the best players. Not an easy task. It is sad when a good player isn’t included because all the awesome stories they’d have told instantly vanish, never to be. But I don’t have the time, or creative energy, to run two tables and I am firmly wedded to a four player game. I just want to say I appreciate everyone who made a character, I know, while it can be fun, it is a lot of work (for nothing) if you are not selected. I’ve been there, so I know the feeling.

But on to the main event!

My selected party is….

Sborki- Grippli Druid

Adelaide- Human Witch

Landon Ninefingers- Half-elf Rogue

Olaff Olaffson- Human (Ulfen) Barbarian

All those selected go post in Discussion and we can get this party rocking and rolling!

P.S. If you'd like to be on the list as an alternate/backup in case someone drops out of leaves, please make that note here, and I'll put you on the list. Thanks!

Sad to see Tamara not included, but with such a late submission I can really expect anything better. Hope the party work out. If not I would be happy to fill in. I don't think anyone would be against being a reserve...

Have fun, guys! Gratz on the selection.

Silver Crusade

Congratulations all.

Yes, please put me on the list of backup characters

Good luck to the selected party.
Please keep me in mind as an alternate.

The Exchange

Well done you lucky four. Have a great game.

Cheers

Grand Lodge

I'd be willing to be be a back up if needed

Nah, I'm good. Have fun guys. *scuttles off to my hole*

Damn.

Well, good luck and have fun.

@the chosen: Congratulations!

@GM Mowque: I'd certainly be willing to step in if needed.

Also, if you have the time to spare, any constructive criticism on my character submission would be much appreciated, especially if there are any glaring holes/mistakes.

Thanks for the consideration!

A few small things....

1. It was a late entry. While it is unfair, the early birds often set the tone and context. I gave it fair consideration but I know I was colored by the 'party' already in my head.

2. My games always lean on Golarion history/lore and such pretty hard and since you said you didn't know it...

3. The background was a bit generic (feeling horrible crime) although I did like the missionary aspect to it.

Hope that helps.

Congratulations to those who made it into the game.

GM Mowque, thank you for the opportunity. If nothing else it pushed me to flush out a character more than I usually do. If you are willing, any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Did my chosen archetype work against me? Was the cohort too much?

I would still like to explore the Mwangi Expanse so count me in as a backup.

I know I could have had a better backstory but you caught me in the middle of inventory at work. Too many work hours and not enough sleep caused my creative brain function to stop working.

Thanks again for checking it over.

Darn. I'm really hitting a dry spell, acceptance wise...

Time to take my sheets up a notch I guess.

No one did anything wrong, nor has anything to feel bad about. You all put up very cool characters.

The GM chose the ones he thought would work for his idea of the right party for the story he's looking to tell.
