Just dropping a post here with my day job roll.
Day Job; Profession (Librarian): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Anastasia Antasarë Iva |
The character set in the discussion was a bit support heavy, so anything that can use that support would be nice.
I will build a secondary character if the group feels two wizards is unnecessary, still I'd slightly prefer to stick with Anastasia.
Chaosorbit |
Are we starting with the Wounded Wisp or the Confirmation?
I think I like Iuni just as she is, so I'll make a new Core Character - Does this group need a cleric? I see two Wizards so far, not sure what the other are playing. I'm fine with that or I can play something else, like maybe a good 'ol Paladin. But I'm super flexible.
Chaosorbit |
Okay So a Barbarian, 2 Wizards, a Cleric (maybe Paladin), and one other tbd.
I'll run The Confirmation (CORE) IRL either before or after the Wisp for this new character so he isn't behind later.
Blake's Tiger |
I had a Human Barbarian and a Human Druid with Lion AC (CORE remake of Raul) proposed. Did anyone have a preference?
I was leaning toward the Barbarian because I wasn't sure how the Lion would play out in future scenarios. You guys with more experience may have a better idea.
EDIT: I missed Chaosorbit's post. Did we want a rogue or bard for the Disabling of Devices?
Pavo: the Crimson Nuthatch |
OK. So I went a different way...
This is a character that I've been trying to build for a few years now. He's a philanderer by day (and night), a robin-hood style cat burgler by night.
Zyrethian Voninquel |
I'm always happy to see a bard, but I feel like you should play what will make you happy.
Chaosorbit |
So cleric is probably the best bet it looks like for me. Unless someone has another opinion.
Kirrote |
What I'm seeing so far is two barbarians and two wizards. I think we need some sort of healing support. The bard would provide it to some degree. A cleric would provide more.
A bard also provides nice combat support via bardic performances.
As Zyren said, play what will make you happy. We're in this for the long haul so think of what you want to take to the top levels.
Anastasia Antasarë Iva |
Lothanna is my secondary character, if the party starts to look too weird. Still prefer Anastasia.
Pavo: the Crimson Nuthatch |
I think the currently proposed composition is: Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Wizard, Wizard
I took the note on Celestial since that's a good line.
I put the FCB in skills for a Diplomacy rank. I'll rebuild it out before 2nd level when it becomes superfluous with Perform (Oratory).
I appreciate and echo the sentiment to play what will make us happy. Two wizards seems fine. Three might be a little funny looking. :)

Nope sorry, haven't had a chance to create yet. Plus I'll be at Origins Game Fair from later today through late Saturday. I'll work on my character during my downtime and be ready to roll sometime on Sunday. Sorry for the delay.

Zyren is prepped and ready. At least as ready as a 0XP character can be... :P

Fixed.

Made a couple of last minute adjustments to help my long term plan of Zyren becoming an Eldritch Knight.
Zyrethian Voninquel |
Please roll your Day Job here, then fill in this form with all of your other character info.
Is my day job roll from up thread good enough, or should I redo it?
Zyrethian Voninquel |
If we get to the end of the scenario and I have not used my reroll or my pin I may want to use one or both on the day job but we can cover that when we get there, if that is okay.

Dayjob(Librarian): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
I'm taking the next adventure on slow track so that I can still join the planned evergreen Consortium Compact after that. Miriel already ran that at level 2.
Kirrote |
Hey everyone. Here's a bit of OOC background on Kirrote. I plan to work this into his actions.
Do any of you have background for your characters that we can role play with?
---
Kirrote used to live in Uringen, one of the small villages located in the River Kingdoms but he was falsely accused of murdering one of the respected community leaders. The law was unable to prove he was guilty but everyone treated him like he was. He and his family were ostracized and persecuted.
Kirrote felt it was wrong to attack his attackers (CG alignment) so instead he decided the best way to keep his family from further harm would be to move. He realized that simply moving to another town would not solve the problem. Eventually someone there would recognize him and his troubles would follow him.
He moved his family down the river to Mimere and then, to avoid people there recognizing him, he left his wife and children there. He didn't tell them he was leaving because he knew they would try to disuade them but he knew it was the right thing to do to protect them.
He hopes that if he keeps moving from one place to another, he will keep his accusers from catching up with him. Also, he hopes that if he stays away long enough, his accusers will forget or lose interest and he'll be able to return home to his family.
From time to time he gets the impression that he is being followed or that his accusers are only one or two towns behind him.
Kane Eriksen |
@GM and my fellow Pathfinders,
Sorry to delay our start, but I'm now ready to go.
Will finish getting my stat block uploaded later today...but I'm ready to start.
Meet: Kane Eriksen, a cleric of Adabar. Kane is a former Talden merchant who primarily worked with merchant companies who had dealing with the Dwarves of the Five Kings Mountains. Kane never really followed any religion, but later in life began to follow Adabar, and as his faith grew he found himself called to vocational ministry for the church, and also to the Pathfinder Society, as a way to continue to bolster his new found faith and also his business interests.

@GM - Excellent!
8-99 is very fun, played it at 10-11, let's just say Charm Monster cast at level 11 can be quite useful!
Got to demo Starfinder starship combat, I really liked it!
Demoed and ultimately purchased Arena of the Gods board game from iEllo, a very fun game in vein of King of Tokyo.
Played 7 PFS scenarios all together, many memorable moments.
Played True Dungeon - awesome as always!
Many a tasty meal and good friends!
Great few days!
Thanks for asking...you should try to attend next year!

I will probably be using the languages from this list as replacements when Zyren speaks languages other than Common, unless people find it distracting or bothersome or have better options.
Anastasia Antasarë |
Sorry, I was playing live last night and missed the start.
I have used russian for Brevoy (that's where her human name is from), and Tolkien's elvish for single words and names in elven. I am finnish, but it doesn't matter, when playing elves I have corrected some non-elves for their spelling.
Anastasia's original Paizo profile was accidentally non-core, that's why I made this new one.

If my using Finnish for Elven is too distracting or bothers you, just let me know and I can just skip that.

I apologize for not posting lately. I have heat exhaustion, and it's a lot more draining in real life than in Pathfinder. I don't even have the mental energy to watch a movie without taking a nap.
The good news is that two days of rest and lots of water is all its supposed to take to recover, so I'll hopefully be back on Tuesday.
