You should keep up with your token to reflect your current location.. but other than that, I don't think there is anything specific about it.
Nivi |
On my phone atm, will move my token later. Or, I'll be just behind Tomas if anyone else could move me please.
GM Evil |
I'm updating now, this area is kind of a weird place so I'm just going to give a huge description for the whole thing so you guys can get on with it
GM Evil |
I had a major wifi outage again. I'm seriously considering dropping my current service and finding someone else. Catching everything up now.
Popol |
Oh. That is something. Since of what i heard (not you)in the sky key solution, i had fear that you had drop us.
I am rassured now.
My concern are now if all is okay for the wifi problem you had. You must be in rage about the situation. I would if i was in your place.
I remember a time where we had no electricity in 5 days in winter. A bad period.
Tomas Stormborn |
Is it gone cause of the game moving on? Our cmbat was literally a surprise round....
GM.Kashka |
Don't worry - i have a plan.
Trust the GM. :D

**EPIC FACEPALM**
*EMBARRASSED AS ALL HELL*
Ok.. yea.. I knew that Kyra was a pregen that others have used, but the only two pregens I have ever actually played are Adowyn and Oloch. I've never even looked at Valeros other than to pass as too vanilla and not what I wanted.
Thank you for that.. Its been really bugging me. I knew that I knew the name, but couldn't remember from where or how!
Popol |
Really this adventure is one that a lot of non used spell for a pfs (like Alarm) would have been useful. I like this.
As for the wall.Well, it doesn't a lot of hit point. (24 because of my level) Also... We are in a city. The logical thing would have been to run and call the guard for help. (That would have been Popol's plan)
Eladrian |
Well, it certainly saved me from getting tag teamed again. I appreciate the help! One of us did call for help.. but we will see what happens!
Tomas Stormborn |
Heyy guys, I am larping this weekend so I won't be able to post from tomorrow. I should be back Sunday evening to post, if not Monday morning. (UK time)
GM.Kashka |
It was a good idea, you saved your ally from a world of hurt - unfortunately it comes with decision making if the badguys don't pound through it... which finesse rogues wont... decision making takes time
at a f2f - that would have been quick... like you said... PbP special's format.

Popol: Trust me, I really appreciate the effort!!!! The surprise round nearly knocked me out, and you saved me from having to fend off two of them while seriously wounded. Although I (and Eladrian) may not be used to playing with a buffing spell caster, I do appreciate the effort!
GM: I agree with Galmar wholeheartedly!! THANK YOU for your time and effort. I know its not easy jumping in like that.. and in a special like this to boot.

Just trying to help out.. GM, if this is overstepping, I apologize. I am just trying to keep us up to speed!
Here are the Costumes and the rules governing them:
Costumes to choose from: you must choose a character to play, but the stated gender roles in no way impede what you are allowed to choose (male character may play a female but you must act accordingly!). There may only be one of each character though, so first come, first served. Be warned though; some characters are not allowed to use magic. Choose carefully but quickly!
There are two leading male roles for the performance, the General and the Monkey King. The General wears a long beard and fights with a wooden sword (1d8 nonlethal) and armor (treat as splint mail). The Monkey King wears an elaborate monkey mask. The Monkey King is portrayed as an acrobat and trickster and is permitted to cast spells.
There are two leading female roles, the Warrior Woman and the Wizened Crone. The Warrior Woman wears full armor (treat as splint mail) and peacock feathers, and fights with a dulled, bladed polearm (1d8 nonlethal). The Wizened Crone wears long robes and walks with a cane. She is permitted to cast spells.
The Jing role represents a strong and forceful male. The two choices for this performance are the Noble Warrior and the Cruel Bandit. Noble Warrior wears red face paint and full armor (treat as splint mail), and wields a large club (1d10 nonlethal). The Cruel Bandit wears blue face paint and wields a long wooden knife (1d4 nonlethal), specially balanced to allow a capable individual to make nonlethal sneak attacks with it.
The clown is a humorous character, and is allowed to speak with the audience in order to make jokes at their opponents’ expense. Chou are also permitted to cast spells. Male Chou identify their characters by painting wide white circles around their eyes. Female Chou paint their faces red with black circles about the eyes. Clown costumes do not include weapons; however, Chou can carry and wield a broom or stick (treat as an improvised weapon dealing 1d6 nonlethal damage), claiming it to be whatever weapon they desire for the sake of performance and comedic value.
You will have to trade out any currently worn armor for the costume armor, as well as your weapons for the costume weapons. If you are a spell caster, be very aware of which costumes permit casting and which ones do not.
Since I am posting this, I will give yall a chance to pick your costumes.. it would be unfair for me to have that advantage. I will say that I would prefer to play the Cruel Bandit but will play whatever is left over.
Popol: Any lethal damage caused will be grounds for disqualification from this round of the tournament. Please think carefully before casting that spell!!!!!
Nivi |
None of these are very good for my character, so I'll take whatever is leftover. I'm certain Tomas would want to be the monkey king however.
Tomas Stormborn |
Yeah, looking at that I will take the Monkey King Role a it seems most fitting, cheers for the info!
GM.Kashka |
If you assume a non-caster role, you cannot cast unless it is non-verbal and non-somatic.

Alright everyone. I got my wifi headache sorted out and everything is good to go on my end. I'll be taking back over when I get home tonight. Thanks to GM Kashka for stepping and helping out! The online community here is amazing and I'm glad to be a part of it. Everyone else, I'm catching up on all the posts now and will make the transition completely seamless.
Nivi |
It was clear enough in that post, I thought Popol. I'd keep it out of [ooc] and maybe use [i] italics for spell names so that the GM can easily Google spells they don't know. ^^

Hi all,
Sorry about the confusion and shuffling about. GMEvil is still resolving various bits and pieces that have caused him to miss out on being able to keep things rolling the way he intended.
We have come to a decision that it is best to swap over GM's until the end to ensure you aren't missing out on the big rush to the finish.
To offset the lost time there, I am adjusting this tables timer out a bit to give you the opportunity to get this section into a resolution, but act quick as there is not a LOT of time.
Once again, thanks all!

Yeah guys, I'm having a hectic bit going on in life right now, so I asked Shifty to get one of the awesome back up GM's to take over for you guys. I didn't want to cause you guys to miss out or run slow. I'm still going to be watching and cheering for you guys from the back, though.
I apologize for having to drop out. It couldn't be helped though.
Eladrian |
Hey, life happens. I am sorry that things are working out this way, but I really hope that things get squared away for you and start looking up soon. We will see you around on the boards soon, I hope!
GM.Kashka |
actually it is working out well - Tomas would be unconcious without it - and the elementals are taking cold damage
