Slachagok
|
"What in the nine hells..." the half-orc blusters, wrinkling his brow at the strange cooperation between the vicious beasts.
Edging around the side of the ship, Slachagok draws his greatsword and hacks at the writhing snake.
Greatsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13
Iryana Rehmani

"What in the great wide sands ..." stats Iryana - shocked and staring. Seeing the half-orc draw his blade and swing, Iryana does the same, moving forward to stand opposite the half-orc. With luck, perhaps there will be the opportunity to be more helpful in a few seconds.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Kraang
|
Is this the same day as the previous attack? If it not, Kraang will cast Produce Flame and ready an attack at the drake should it sweep by the boat.
If it is the same day, Kraang will use his Growth Domain power as a swift action, to enlarge himself then ready an action to swing at the drake should it get with 10' of Kraang.
Possible Produce Flame Attack vs Drake Touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Possible Quartersaff vs Drake: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 81d8 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Xeros Felshar

Xeros draws his longsword and with a short incantation it glows a magical aura and he readies to strike if the creature gets close.
Used arcana point to make the longsword a +1 weapon and readies an attack if the drake approaches.
Readied attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Damage:1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The readied attacks, as well as Kraang's round 2 attack miss.
Slach attacks the drake:
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 1) + 6 = 12
Iryana attacks the drake:
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Xeros attacks the drake:
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Everyone misses.
The drake attacks Slach.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 4) + 1 = 7
Tail Slap: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
[ooc]Kraang has 9/15 HP. Slach has 2/17 hit points. Xeros, are you really at 2/10? Or did you get healed?
Xeros Felshar
|
I got healed I forgot to change it, I'm at 6/10 hp.
Round 2
The tiefling grips his longsword in both his hands and gives a heavy swing at the drake.
Sword Swing:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Crict Confirm:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage:1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Krash4031

Iryana attacks, missing the drake.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
The drake attacks Slach again, but this time all of its attacks miss.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 1 = 9
Tail Slap: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Damage:1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Crict damage:1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Wow it happened it again, crazy!
Iryana Rehmani

It was just a flicker of thought, and Iryana nodded to herself. She lunged at the creature, but didn't hit it, instead her attempt was to distract it, making it easier for the big Half-Orc to do some damage.
Aid Another: Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Krash4031
|
After Xeros' blow, the drake is what you might call "bloodied".
The drake attempts to fly away!
Iryana: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Kraang: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Slach: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 4) + 6 = 13
Xeros: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Crit Confirm Iryana: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Crit Confirm Slach: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 6 = 17
But the beast is cut down by the determined party for a total of 44 damage worth of AoO's.
This worked out better than my original post!
Rest up, heal, whatever you need to do.
There appears to be a sloppily buried cache of uncut garnets and gold nuggets on the shoreline.
After resting or whatever...
Following the river drake confrontation and resumption of the journey east, Passad and the envoys emerge from belowdecks. The Kalistocrat praises you for your prowess in dispatching this latest threat and makes a comment that clearly the Society sent the right agents for this task. He further wonders if the party’s wisdom matches its martial skills.
"The Pathfinder Society continues to amaze me, and it seems to me increasingly prudent to enter into a business arrangement that would certainly be to our mutual benefit—particularly for those with an eye for spotting profit. Let me make my case simply: my trade network is growing and already blankets the Inner Sea like no other, and the dwarves cannot hope to compete with the prices I offer. Let us not forget that the Pathfinders have had many mutually profitable business
dealings with me in the past.”
If anyone has played Ghenette Manor Gauntlet, let me know, though I don't think any of you has...
Metella pipes in... "Yes, Temel has his bejeweled fingers in many pies and can offer cheaper wares, but consider the advantages of a business relationship with my mercantile concern: our network is many centuries old, and the quality of our goods is unrivaled. Furthermore, an arrangement with a firm with such deep roots in the Five Kings Mountains would reinforce the military alliance the Society is already negotiating.”

Passad looks at Kraang, bemused. [b]"We are looking for trade agreements."[b] Since no one has posted on this the last few days... I am just going to move on.
After you talk back and forth about the benefits of trading with the two they each give you a token of good faith. Passad gives you a potion of cure moderate wounds and Metella gives you a potion of bear's endurance
Near dusk, the captain of the boat points out a pleasant country inn up a hill on the north shore of the Glass River, where a small dock offers a berth for the Abacus. Passad and the envoys indicate they’ll wait out the night in their cabins while you execute your mission at the Gray Revelation Inn. Before leaving the boat, Amauhak strongly advises the party to refrain from violence on Razmiri soil if it can be helped; Metella and Passad, in rare agreement, concur. A stone path leads from the dock about 200 yards through some light tree cover to the villa.
We will assume that you have fully rested while on the boat. Heal and reset spells as necessary.
A sign above wide wooden gates reads, “Welcome to the Gray Revelation Inn.” The gate leans open invitingly, and the smell of fresh flowers wafts on the cool breeze.
What do you do?
