I copied the treasure into the list. People can put their name bedside things they want, once the stuff has been claimed, then we can divide the gold up after to balance the loot.

For scrolls that Sid can cast I would like to transcribe them into my spell book is before giving them to the group. Obviously emergency cases will come up but I think the group will be better off long term if we can collect some spells.

DM, should we look to add a 5th member? Rydell is clearing struggling right now and it’s hard to keep a game going with only three active players. Once he is back in action, I don’t think one more player would upset the applecart too much. Just a thought.

I like a the 5th member idea. I'm fine with anything that does not have to much overlap I like PCs to be able to have uniqu-ish roles.

How do you do your HP per level, DM? Do we roll or take half +1, or do you have another preferred method?

A few quick questions though GM.

The feat tax removal rules don't include grapple in "Powerful Manuevers" The comments show that they were meant to be in there. Can I replace my Improved Grapple with Powerful Manuevers and keep the better grapple? That would give Zavier a lot of different things he might be able to pull off in combat.

Alternatively the comments on the site show that a second draft of those rules have grappling folded into another feat that also gives Unarmed Fighting. That doesn't help Zavier as much but I can do that as well if you wish.

Or I can just keep Improved and Greater Grapple as separate feasts. Please let me know which way I should go.

The Brawler class came out before the Unchained Monk which has a better version of the Flurry of Blows (Unchained Monk just gets an extra attack at Full BAB rather than TWF style). Can Zavier use the Unchained Flurry or should he stick with the original.

Finally I will want to get the Brawling enchantment for Zavier at some point. Originally that was a +1 enchantment but then it was errated to be a +3 enchantment instead! Can I eventually get it as a +1 at some point?

I don't know how good of an idea it is to try and build a character that tries to grapple giants in the first place but it should be fun anyway and I can switch up the build to punch giants for pure damage instead if the CMD gets too large!

I know this is a lot of requests but I'm perfectly fine with you saying no to all of them GM!

I'd say L4 and do Perception checks. But I'm fine with L8 and perception checks on the way as well.


Ok so something has come up in one of my other games that I wanted people's input on.

Basically are you happy with how we do the initiative/combat or would you prefer it if I did a form of block initiative?

When I run I do block initiative with small recons at the GM's discretion if a persons turn to get invalidated. That said I happy either way, but I will include how I do block in case it helps.

Pros: Most of the time combat goes much faster as people can post in a less restrictive order.

Con: Occasional retconing to keep things fair.

For me I like it. I use this format and keep initiative saved in a separate doc so I can repost without rewriting.

How I do it is I roll and then take an average for each 'group' to decide when they go. Usually there's just two groups, players and enemies, but sometimes I give a boss monster their own group.

It's swingier but would make the game go faster. I am happy with how fast the game is going but I do prefer block initiative for pbp.


Ok we will give it a try for the next combat.
