Recruitment is open for Season of the Shackles Adventure 2 - A Pirate's Life for the Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild. This is part of PbP Gameday VII, running from August 13th, 2018 until September 30, 2018. If there's time and everyone is interested, we can continue on to Adventure 3 and beyond, but we need to wrap things up on September 30 so that characters participating in this can also participate in Session 2's Assault on Absalom ACG tables (although, we can pick up again after AoA is finished if people want).

If you're interested in participating, please post a reply (indicating what character/class you want to play as well as your tier would be helpful, but not required). This adventure can accommodate characters from Tiers 1-3. The table has 6 open slots, and will run as long as at least 3 of those are filled. Recruitment is first-come, first-served.

If you have any questions, please post and ask :)

I’m interested - several level 1 characters I can bring, like this one for example. I’ll confirm soon what character to bring, but count me in please.

PS I’d love to continue after the event with other adventures.

Please note that this is for the card game. I have enough RPG games that I’m running elsewhere so I don’t have the time to GM any more of those :)

Hello. Quick timing question.

Cards against Gnomanity no longer has a hard stop of Aug 12. Players can continue a bit longer, if they're interested - at least long enough to complete their scenario, for instance.

Does this mean that we shouldn't use a CAG character in Session 1 of Gameday, because they might be out of action at the very beginning?

If a CAG character is allowed, I could join with either Grazzle (Oracle) or Radovan (Tales) - both characters that I'm running in CAG. I could use whichever character makes the most sense for the party. They'd be either Tier 1 or Tier 2, depending on how far we get in CAG.

You can use your CAG characters; I saw that Season of the Shackles was popular in CAG so I opened up an AD2 table of it for Gameday VII for people who wish to continue on from CAG. But, if you have other characters you want to take for a spin, go for it :)

The only rule is that a single character cannot be in multiple games simultaneously. So, if your CAG table didn't quite finish up by August 12, you can play a pregen and take one for the team until your CAG character is available again.

Haven't done a 6-player game in a while. This should be fun. If everyone sticks with their original choice, looks like we have:

My choice between Grazzle and Radovan will probably depend on what TBD is. Unless another table opens, then we get mixed up and nevermind. :)

Heh..we are a bit slow...just started the 4th adventure..the 3rd one was a pain and we finished with 1 turn left.

I wouldn't mind running a session of this if I can learn how. If I did that then I can play in one and run another table correct? I may be able to see if our current 4th member wants to join as well. If it matters, I own the S&S base set.

If you want to be a box runner, reach out to cartmanbeck for instructions on where to sign up as well as a tutorial on how the database works. You'll need to put together your own sessions; I'll be running all of the ones for this campaign (far easier logistically).

I'm going to be getting the starting flavor dump and initial scenario setup going soon (tonight), so you can pick starting locations and determine turn order.

For those unsure as to whether or not they'll finish their current game in time for this one to start on the 13th, pick a tier 1 pregen to use temporarily so you can "take one for the team"; see the card guild guide for full details on how that works.

Use the Discussion thread to sort all of that out (turn order, if you're using pregens, etc.). If you don't have any particular preference for turn order you can roll 1d1000 and I'll slot you in lowest to highest roll between people who did express a particular preference.

That means that Matsu will be making it in. Please note that if your tier 3 character will tier up to 4 in less than 4 scenarios, then you will be unable to complete this adventure (assuming no scenarios are replays), as AD2 has 4 scenarios in it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Matsu is playing at one of the other Gameday tables.

You can play in as many tables as you think you can manage; just can’t play the same character in multiple tables at the same time.

Makes sense. I wasn't sure if he knew he'd made it into this table.

I miss the ability on paizo.com to subscribe to threads and then get notifications when those threads are updated.
