Also, I noticed early on that if you are using ranged weapons or ranged touch spells as primary attacks, point-blank and precise shot feats help alot.

Yeah, I don't think a wizard really needs rapid reload unless they really wanted to use that crossbow later on or were only using it for the 1st level challenge of low spells. Acid splash, ray of frost, and disrupt undead are just easier to use in the end in my opinion.

Liberty's Edge

They're better in at least one way since they target touch AC rather than normal AC. It gets very hard to hit with the delayed BAB progression of most spellcasters.

A lesson I'm learning with Telekinetic Projectile which is also a level 0 but does not target touch AC.
