Lorant, Cassiel, and Judah attack the ooze, the first two doing more damage against it, but it does not seem to be hampered by the damage. Both Cassiel and Lorant's weapon corrode slightly. The ooze tries again with a pseudopod against Cassiel, but again misses.

Lorant finds nothing of interest in this chamber but follows the corridor on the opposite wall. When he comes to a blank wall, he searches for what he is sure must be there and is rewarded when he finds the seam of a secret door. Opening it, the group enters into a large cell, the door of which is closed.

He punctuates the statement by ripping the first page from the book, and shredding it to pieces in his hands.

I guess that we've lost Eleanora. I'll remove her from the party after this episode and try to recruit someone else.

Seeing the effect that destroying the spellbook is having on the Splatter Man's ghost, Elenora joins in the fun, grabbing a page and tearing it free. The ghost screams again!

At this point, there are six pages remaining in the book. The spells on those pages are: false life, gust of wind, levitate, mage armor, magic missile, and summon monster IV. Henceforth, please let me know what spell you are destroying.
