Assuming the cat is dead, Shel climbs to her feet. "Now its just us against you, Helkit. Yield now, and we let you live after you answer our questions. If you keep fighting, we make no promises!"
| DM Kludde |
Helkit does not responds, or act in any way. She shows no emotion, just a blank stare, as Brimstone gets torn to pieces, or as Cedric's magic missile strikes home. The crowd jeers Boo! BOO! at the inaction of the gladiator.
One more round of dazedness

Tolgarov
|
Tolgarov casted a spell fly and began flying at twenty feet abouve the ground with the grace of a stone.
Then began to speak to the crowd.
What do YOU want ?
FIRE ?
WATER ?
COLDNESS ?
FORCE ?
I can give you that !
Grim Dougal
|
"Tolgarov, thrill the crowd, then I shall run her down"
| DM Kludde |
A thousand voices cry in unison: Blood! BURN!!
Shel Whispertongue PFS
|
"Don't kill her yet," Shel barks at the sorcerer. "We have our orders. We need her alive. Only if she doesn't surrender, do we need to escalate this!"
Tolgarov
|
Yes, Iknow. But we also need to gave the people what they want !
responded the sorcerer to Shel
Grim Dougal
|
"We were told that it is sufficient to publicly defeat and shame her, because that forcefully proves we defend our interests. No one said she had to live".
Grim awaits the flash from Tolgarov as the sign to advance...
If other people have a contra point of view, by all means speak up before the knee-cappers go off to get even

"Killing doesn't equal shaming in my book. Every person in the audience knows this battle is over. They know that with groups like us in the Society, we will not tolerate being targeted. The battle is over. To kill her now, while she is helpless is evil...not what the society is about."
I enjoy the idea of us having this discussion while she is dazed, and is unable to respond, lol.
Shel Whispertongue PFS
|
"Thank you, Dawnbringer. Now let's wait to hear her response. All this bickering might be unnecessary, if she doesn't agree to yield."
| DM Kludde |
While Cedric eyes the dazed barbarian and Tolgarov pleases the crowd to a cheering frenzy Blood, blood, blood!, Rhydderich and Shel stay their hand.
Helkit, in her own bubble of reality, simply stands by and does nothing. Then, the bubble pops, and the barbarian switches back into action. Brimstone! she shouts, waving her axe above her head, you'll pay for this!
She charges forward to Grim. Cedric, keeping watch, fires off his magic missile, which doesn't so much as faze the woman. Helkit does not yield!
Attack, charge, rage: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 15 + 2 = 351d12 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Grim takes 13 damage

Shel moves 15' back toward the rest of her group, both weapons in hand. "Sorry lady, I tried to give you an out. Now, I don't feel bad about what might happen to you. Let this serve as an example of what happens when you are stupid enough to cross the Pathfinder Society."
Grim Dougal

Grim steps in to engage going into a frenzied Rage as he does so.
[Raging]
Attack 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 11 + 1 + 2 = 24

Haste Attack 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 11 + 1 + 2 = 21 EDIT - See below :)

Fire it is !
Tolgarov first tried to stay in the air 5ft. Step in the air
Fly DC10: 1d20 - 2 + 3 ⇒ (3) - 2 + 3 = 4 but unable to make a stone fly Tolgarov just make two greenish fire ray if Helkit is still standing after his comrades attacks.
Ray 1: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 - 1 = 84d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 2) + 6 = 21
Ray 2: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 - 1 = 154d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 5) + 5 = 18
| DM Kludde |
With a roar, Grim swings and cuts away at the oversize barbarian. Taking two consecutive hits, the proud stance of the barbarian quickly takes a turn. Staggering and bleeding, she holds up a hand, drops her axe, and shouts Please! No more! I yield!
The crowd falls silent for a moment. It's a split second decision: will Tolgarov hold his fire? Will Misfortune pounce at the barbarian? It is too late to call off the attack?
Helkit yields and looks badly hurt. I'm giving you the chance to call off the attack of Misfortune and Tolgarov, though if you prefer to continue as rolled, that's also a possibility.

Shel attempts to step in front of any additional attacks, taking a total defensive action. "She yielded. Our honor has been restored and her's is in the gutter where it belongs. This battle is done!"
And if Shel's action would be considered pvp, DM, she will just stay where she was and just try to stay the attacks with her words.
Tolgarov
|
Tolgarov changed his spell and casted a big greenish fireball above Helkit as the "bouquet final" of his show.
Shel Whispertongue PFS
|
Shel turns to the crowd and squeaks, "There will be no bloodshed simply for your enjoyment. We are members of the Pathfinder Society, and we are not murderers! But, rest assured, our decision is not weakness. If she or any of you think we are weak, just let me know, and we will leave you laying. Interfere with our affairs and we will be back here, settling things in the arena. And we might not be so merciful next time!"
Grim Dougal
|
Grim looks at Shel with a look of deep and bitter disappointment met with understanding, Misfortune continues roaring and pawing like a wild beast ready to shred a waiting meal.
"That woman is responsible for attacks on honest sailors, she's left widows including the woman on the boat, she sent her galdiators to their doom for her pride, but worst of all, she was targeting our cousins for murder and robbery" Grim half asides in Tolgarovs direction "and such an insult and injury cannot go so lightly answered, there must be a reckoning. A message must be sent" The Barbarians tone is flat and even as he wearily replies, but opens the door for further conversation "Tell me, Tiny Dancer, why should we accept such paltry reparations for such great offences?"
Tolgarov
|
After his show, Tolgarov lend on the ground, smiling.
Yes ! Who paid you to attack our family ! My own cousin, Garil !
asked the big sorcerer to the kneeling helkit.
Then he adressed to the crowd, adding to Shel's and Grim's words
YES, THOSE WHO WANT TO MESS WITH THE SCZARNI WILL BURN IN THE FIRE OF OUR FURY ! BE WARNED !
Intimidate: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (10) + 23 = 33

"We are better than that woman, Grim. We should set a higher standard for behavior. Sinking to the depths of one such as her is not something Pathfinders should do."
Grim Dougal
|
Grim pauses for thought, his face scrunches as he considers the counter view. "Let the name then fall from her lips, let her speak the name of her master and she walks away under your grace, or she will take the secret to the grave as she is kissed by Misfortune" Grim leaves it to Helkit to decide which way her fate shall unfold - the mercy of the Tiny Dancer, or in the belly of a lion.
| DM Kludde |
According to arena rules, Helkit reaches out a hand to shake. Congratulations, she says while her hand is extended, looking humbled, I did not expect the Society to put up this much resistance. The voice slowly starts becoming a little more steadfast, betraying admiration I can assure you, Pathfinder shipments are safe from now on. Tymon honours whoever protects their interests, especially in this way.
As for your Sczarni brothers, here's what I know, she starts I’ve hired out muscle to whoever’s after Guaril Karela. I don’t know who’s at the top of the operation; I’ve only dealt with intermediaries, but one of those really gave me the feeling that he knew much more about the operation than anyone else. I don’t think he’s one of the ones working against Karela, but he seems to have more of an interest in it beyond money. I’ve had some people looking for him since, but it’s like he vanished or went up in smoke—oddly appropriate for a man who asked that I call him ‘Torch.’
Helkit's hand is still extended.
Cue orchestral music in the background. Fade to black. Credits start to roll...

Business is business thinked Tolgarov who extend his greasy hand to Helkit
Thanks for sharing these informations Helkit. My cousin will inquire about this "torch" you mentionned. If you have more information, we will pay good money for it.
Torch ! This bastard traitor, to us and to the society will pay for that !
Grim Dougal

Grim seems satisfied enough, he gives a nod of appreciation and respect to Shel. He wanders out of the arena, Misfortune at his side, laughing and joking with Tolgarov about the display put on.
"And thanks to the rest of you too, you are all welcome friends on any further mission"
