If your Rod of Extend, Lesser has run out, I have one I'm not using; I usually use them with Hold Person, but I ran out of those and don't have much prepped based around a duration since I picked up a Decoy Ring.

Amira's research took 12 hours. It hasn't been more than an hour since she finished, since you were encouraged to go into the Tapestry right afterward. Marduk could have cast both just prior to entering.
The corridor continues along, with all manner of artwork along the walls, for 300 feet.

"Yeah it was, but I am pretty sure it was not them trying to kill you. I seem to remember something else being behind the whole plot. That is of course unless you count that statue that kind of looked like one."
She says with a small laugh, leading the group down the corridor.

Erin then holds a hand up and quietly says.
"Hallway ends here, I am going to take a quick peek."
She then makes her way to the opening and looks to both sides in the new room.

GM, moved myself to the edge of the room. If something happens before then move me to where it is relevant, otherwise I am looking into the room from that point.
"I thought I told you about that... I guess I could be remembering wrong though, I was a bit tipsy at the time."
She says, slightly disappointed.
"Wow he forgot already... I may have made a mistake in judgement"

As Erin holds up her hand and moves forward, she freezes short of the entryway, hearing a cadence of words from two different voices. Though she does not have first-hand knowledge, it sounds very much like spellcasting!
Initiatives. Neither side is surprised, though the bad guys do get a single round of prep off.

Virtually every inch of wall space in this chamber is covered with art or holds some work of art. Marble busts, bas relief carvings, and painted frescoes adorn the walls. Hundreds of stone shelves stretch from floor to ceiling, holding thousands of figurines, statuettes, decorative masks, and various other items. A massive pair of iron doors stand in the center of the far wall.
You see an armored dwarf 25 feet in the air of this antechamber, the ceiling of which soars above your head to a full height of 30 feet, similar to the entry chamber. Her hands are before her as she appears in the midst of casting a spell.
To the left as you enter is a Chelaxian man who drops his wand as you enter. Though it is too far away to make out clearly, the silvery patch on his breast appears to bear the symbol of the Aspis Consortium.

Okay, then I will interject the following during my turn.
Ashur turns to the Chelaxian. "Are you Ascalar Vruul? If so, Grandmaster Torch sends his regards."

Erin dashes quickly into the room, drawing a short sword and one of her daggers by the blade. Getting as close as she can, she launches the dagger at the spellcaster in an attempt to disrupt the spell.

Marduk rushed into the room on Ashur's heels.
"Aspis!", he hissed in rage.
Spotting the woman midway through a spell, the hulking half-orc wound up a massive ball of flame and hurled it her direction.

Okay, not really, but it would be nice right now. Have a chance to make the concentration check for the dagger. The 54-point fireball, not so much. LOL

She takes the full brunt of the blast with her face, and the charred remains of one former dwarf cleric drop to the floor.The sorcerer sneers at Ashur's jibe, then, deciding he is unwilling to face the same fate as the dwarf, moves to the side, then casts a spell of his own. A shimmering, nearly invisible sphere pops into existence around him.
