I forgot to change it in the tactical map, but I had you switched on the other. I thought you meant Smoggin cast then, traded places with Suros, who then attacked. So Suros was by the door. Is this your next post then? You can't really 5 ft steps to switch places since you step into an occupied square, but due to cover there is no AoO. So this current post would something like..Suros attacks, moves back five feet and Smoggin moved forward? After say that,I realized I didn't move Smoggin ten feet the first time. Both maps as they are show the correct positions, by my reading, before this last post of actions.

Yeah.. Gonna change tactics.

Calling back to his companions, Maximo warns them of the danger these creatures represent. "These are ghouls, my friends! Beware their tooth and claw for they can paralyze a man with the smallest scratch!" He turns to charge forward but comes up short.

"Gah!" Maximo exclaims as the ghouls close the gap to the far side of the room. "Trapped behind enemy lines!"

Stepping sideways instead, he begins a rousing speech of glory and honor.

"Sally forth young heroes, form ranks and hold the line! Show the enemy your courage and lay them low!

No, I think that means favored enemy and inspire do multiply because they are part of the "normal damage" i.e. not extra dice such as sneak attack. So sneak attack and Holy damage, Corrosive damage, etc. don't multiply but other +Xs do.


Ok, that makes more sense to me, because you add your Str modifier to the roll. Thanks Bart

I'm pretty sure favored enemy and bard courage bonuses multiply on criticals.

I think the basic rule was +X's multiply, +dX's and precision damage does not.

Werz lifts his crossbow and fires a bolt at one of the ghouols, but the shot goes way wide.

Tod strides forth into the fray and with a mighty swing, cleave a ghoul's head off.

Llathander delays, looking for an opening.

Bart steps up to a ghoul and attacks with both daggers, but neither find their mark.

Maximo begins regaling the party with stories of courage.

Suros and Smoggin continue their dynamic duo of death and press the attack on the ghoul nearest them. Suros manages to bite the ghoul, but all the other attacks miss.

The ghoul in the side room tries to press forward, all teeth and claws. But does not manage to hit anyone.

Maximo charges his hammer with an arcane word and swings it, then raising his shield defensively, he circles the creature, trying to goad it into attacking him. "Hit me, you foul parody of life!"

Continue Bardic Performance. (Werz, you should get +1 more to hit and damage). Maximo is fighting defensively this round (current AC 21). Swift action for Arcane Strike, standard attack, then move to F3 (or F4 if Tod is unable to get there this round.

The ghoul in the center room strikes out in a fury, lashing at all around it. It manages to bite Tod, sinking it's teeth into his arm.His arm throbs, but nothing else seems to happen.

Searching around the room the party sees; Deris still rocking back and forth on his knees. He unresponsive to anyone. There is a carved relief depicting a massive battle filling the archway over the door. Also in one of the burial niches you find a person laid to rest. He is wearing a bronze breastplate and appears to have been a military man of high standing.

Smoggin:
As you peer around the room, you get the feeling that someone or something is attempting to scry on you. (DC 15 Will, to negate)

A slight edit/retcon, the military man wears bronze full plate and has a bronze shield upon his chest. Sorry tried to do that one from memory.
