Kramac |
Kramac will walk quickly over to the longboat.
You have gotten your friends killed, it would seem. What was the meaning of this whole ordeal? Clerics of Groetus?! Why have you brought such scum to your wedding!?

Flyndyngylyn |
Flyn nods to Carrick and bows. "Thank you, Master Paladin...I owe you my life..."
He then walks over to the longboat with Kramac, yet allowing him room to work his intimidation/interrogation of the wayward sister. He'll check in the long boat to see how Michelia is doing...

The Blakros sister in the wedding gown shrinks from the fierce, bloodied, angry half orc as he approaches.
"I'm sorry! Don't hurt me, please! This wasn't meant to happen. We were just going to trade places, like we did when we were little girls. Michellia would go with Olaf, and I'd become Damian Kastner's wife. I just wanted to see what it's like for Mother to think well of me. I wanted the big wedding, the handsome husband. Children." She sobs, and sinks to her knees.
Kramac and Flyn see the second Blakros twin inside the longboat, laid down and unconscious, her body covered in furs. It is now obvious: Michellia lies unconscious in the boat, her twin sister Eleanir is in the (now rather dishevelled) wedding gown. Eleanir takes her sister's hand. "Wake up, sis! Please wake up. I'm sorry!"

Michellia regains consciousness. And she is not best pleased.
"Huh? Eleanir! What in Hell's name did you do? I got your message, I came out to see you at the summer house... you bushwacked me! What am I doing here?" Michella sits up, rubbing the back of her head. She's wearing nothing but some lacy underclothes. "My dress! You're wearing my beautiful dress! What have you done to it?! Ah, I'm naked!" Michellia pulls the furs over herself again.
Eleanir replies, pleading with her sister: "I can explain, Michellia! I promise! You alway said you wanted adventures. Well, I wanted the big wedding. I wanted to know what it's like to be the one that always does the right thing. I wanted to feel what it's like for Mother and the rest of the family to, well to approve of me! So I thought we'd swap, you know, like when we were younger. Olaf found me in Thuvia, it took me forever to convince him I was me and not you. He kept saying he'd had a vision, plague of demons, end of the world, yadda yadda, and he had to marry you to prevent it from coming true. Seemed like a win-win deal. I didn't know he was so... so mad. I never wanted to hurt anyone, especially you. I'm sorry I knocked you out."
Flyndyngylyn |
Flyn blushes. "M'lady, best we get you back to the reception, along with your sister, of course...your husband sent us as he was worried about you...we'll turn our heads while you get dressed..."
Carrick Castermill |
Carrick moves to Olaf and checks to see if he's dead.
Heal: 1d20 ⇒ 19 I know he is but Carrick would check.
Finding he is, he sets to healing his allies, drawing his Wand of Cure Light Wounds.
He taps Kramac,

Wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Indeed we should get back to the party, I think perhaps we should allow these sisters just a little longer to resolve this though. Good ladies I implore you to resolve your differences, that brought about this needless bloodshed.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
GM supervillan |
I'm travelling today, and running a tabletop game this evening, so this will be my only post till tomorrow.
Whilst the pathfinders decide what to do with the quarrelling sisters, you can also search Olaf and his raiders. Olaf has his magic frosty greataxe, magic hide armour, a potion of cure serious wounds and an oil of keen edge. Flyn is fortunate that you didn't give Olaf time to apply that oil. The raiders have masterwork hide armour (x3), masterwork heavy wooden shields (x3), masterwork hand axes (x3), composite longbows with a very difficult pull (+4 STR rated) (x3), potion of fly (x3), potion of cure moderate wounds (x3).
As far as I can see, none of you have Detect Magic as well as Spellcraft training. But you'll be able to identify the potions using Perception easily enough. If you want to use some of these potions instead of your wand charges, go ahead.
Flyndyngylyn |
Lucky indeed...as it was, I was looking at a couple of boons to burn if I got hit again...think I would've had to burn both to survive another bad hit...and even then, would've been close...
Flyn will take the cure serious wounds potion...
I'll take the first 3 unmodified rolls from my CLW wand roll above and add 1 for the potion and then use my last roll on my wand and that'll heal me 24 bringing me to 39 total and sparing 3 charges...
Kramac |
Kramac will hold on to the oil of keen edges if no one objects.
Bah! This is a little worse as sisterly squabbles go. Michella, what would you have us do with your sister? If you want to deal with this as a Blackros family matter, with no further involvement from us, I understand. If you'd like us to take your sisters to the authorities for kidnapping, we can do that too. Either way, lets get you to the wedding.
After we get everyone situated and head back to the wedding, Kramac will say With followers of Groetus about, there is bound to be more trouble. Etiquette be damned, I'm going to put on my armor. Though why anyone would be offended by such fine craftsmanship, I can't understand...
Dorje Wangchuk |
I've always known that Blackros family is full of weirdos.
GM supervillan |
"Get out of that dress, now!" Michellia orders her sister, whilst tossing her a set of travelling clothes from the boat: most likely the clothes that Eleanir had been wearing previously.
With the pathfinders evidently more supportive of Michellia (certainly not suggesting that the sisters swap places at any rate), Eleanir passively complies, sniffling and apologising as she gets changed.
"We won't speak of this" says Michellia. "We'll just say that Ellie made a late arrival from whatever pit she was digging around in in Garund. I'll have the guards dispose of Olaf and his men; give them an Ulfen burial in this longship. It's probably more than they deserve, but it's clean, and I don't want the grounds of our island sullied with their corpses. Or worse, their ghosts. The guards can be trusted to keep quiet."
Michellia puts her wedding gown back on. The two sisters make themselves as presentable as they can, and you all head back to the wedding party together. Both sisters thank you for your assistance and your discretion. By the time they get to the wedding party, it is as if nothing untoward had happened at all; the sisters are arm in arm, chatting about their childhood. Damian is visibly relieved, and comes over to thank you.
You have some time to do as you like now, including putting on armour or fetching other gear if you wish. Let me know. Is one of you bringing Olaf's greataxe?
Carrick Castermill |
Hey Kramac, what do you think, should we grab our armor now :- )
Carrick can't imagine anything worse than what just happened occurring now; but something nags away at him. I think I might go get my armor on; if anything else happens I'll feel better having it and my longsword. He waits to see if the others talk him out of it before heading for the lodging.
Kramac |
Kramac will take the axe and armor , peacebind it and drop it at his sleeping tent before picking up his armor. I'll also hold on to a potion 9f fly.
Flyndyngylyn |
Flyn will drop by and pick up his buckler, strapping it to his arm, keeping it under his cloak as much as possible...
GM supervillan |
You visit your guest lodgings and recover your arms and armour.
Kramac, now clad head-to-toe in gleaming mithral, garners a lot of attention. There are whispers of the vulgarity of the pathfinders, but no-one dares to openly criticise.
The celebration goes on. You are gathered in the main pavilion when you notice that an officer of the mercenary guard has mounted the stage. The guard officer bangs the haft of his guisarme against the stage several times to get everyone's attention. The music stops. The guard officer speaks:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention please? I am Arastrax of the Onyx Alliance! I have you surrounded. Soon, I will feast upon your souls. None of you will leave Pariol Island alive! A-hahahahaha!"
As Arastrax voices his dire threats, you and other guests jump to your feat and draw your weapons. At the same time, the pavilion is filled with grotesque and misshapen creatures: tiny leathery-winged men with scorpion stingers, twisted naked dwarfs with sharp claws and pointed teeth, and slimy red emaciated humanoids. You hear screams and sounds of combat from outside.
Like other mass battles in PFS, monsters and NPCs will be fighting 'off-camera.' You only need to be concerned with the creatures that have tokens on the map.

I'm going to post two sets of actions - one assuming that Kramac's barrage dropped the Babau, and one that didn't
Rather than attack, Kuuma will growl and bark at the Babau as it attempts to move.
Not going to take his AoO from the movement - can't do any damage. I need a DM ruling on the next part - for Kramac to get the AoO from paired opportunist, does Kuuma actually have to make the AoO?
If he does, Kramac will urge Kuuma to attack again so that Kramac can get his extra attack, otherwise, he will allow Kuuma to forgo that attack as wel
If Kuuma has to take the attack for Kramac to get the AoO:
Kramac's Crit AoO, outflank, paired opportunist: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 4 + 4 = 33

Finally, on to Kuuma's actual Action. If the red babau is dead, Kramac will direct Kuuma to go aid the others by attacking the Cyan babau. If the Red Babau is still alive, he will stay where he is and make his attack on the red Babau.

"Enemies that provoke attacks of opportunity from your ally also provoke attacks of opportunity from you so long as you threaten them (even if the situation or an ability would normally deny you the attack of opportunity)"
I thought about that question Kramac. It looks like an enemy only has to provoke from your ally for you to also gain an AoO. So I'm ruling that Kuuma doesn't actually have to take his AoO.
In a blur of deadly slashing blades, Kramac takes the babau to pieces. It collapses in a puddle of acrid slime, and bubbles away to nothing.
Kuuma bounds over the tables to confront skeletal cyan. The wolf bites on the babau, pulling it down, and shakes off the acid slime. Does no damage, but takes no damage and successfully tripped.

I think he finished off red and Kuuma dropped cyan prone...if not Carrick would go after purple with his attack.

No worries Flyn!

Christmas breakfast post :)
Carrick stabs down at the writhing demon, wounding but not slaying it.
Arastrax crawls away from Qatala. Provokes an AoO from Qatala.
He looks up and laughs. "A-hahaha! An Iomedean? How delicious! I'll kill your friends whilst you look on impotent! A-hahahahaha!" Ribbons of dark energy coalesce, and then a shimmering sphere surrounds Carrick.
Wall of Fire: 10 feet: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 20 feet: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Flyn takes 7 Fire damage. Kramac takes 1 Fire damage. Carrick takes 1 non-lethal fire damage.
The bold may act!

DC 19 Will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
DC 19 Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Carrick does not know what the spell is but quickly notices Arastrax spell is a mere illusion and he is able to shrug off the mind games.
Cheap shadow tricks are no match to the righteous blade of the Inheritor! Carrick calls out at the Onyx Alliance foe.
