splash targets are the purple goblin, and the leader troll.

Wren shoots across the sky, an explosion of colour frantically flapping her arms like the world's most awkward bird of paradise.
The group immediately retaliates against the very uncomfortably cramped trolls. Their eyes widen with fear as they see the weapons light up. The goblin misses the worst of it, but the leader catches on fire!

Whiskeyjack reachoud out from behind his raised shield to touch Arval on the shoulder. Divine energy poured into the lad, healing some of his wounds. The warpriest yelled at the troll "Come on ye walkin' bag o' cat intestines an' camel spit! Yer da were a donkey's personal fluffer, an' yer ma licked elephant cracks fer cash t' whore ou' yer baby sister!"

I promise no further crossovers. I'm also ruling circle is not in combat. Eldon isn't attacking it, and an AoO swipe at Wren doesn't quite cut the mustard. It will be shortly.
The injured troll leaps to his feet, ready to eat Wren, and then her acid arrow burns a hole straight into his heart, and with a groan he topples back, and over the paths into the waterfall below.
Arval continues to battle with the upright troll, slamming his weapon into its leg brutally, but it still fights on, healed by Whiskeyjack.
Wren zaps her wand at the downed troll. Despite it being a bad shot, she manages to score a hit on the enormous troll!
Kawrock and Eldon are up!
Inspire courage up, +2 to attack/damage.

Aid Arval for a +2 bonus to AC, IC: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 2 = 14
Eldon continues to aid Arval's defense, and continues to rant about trolls. "...and once you know the dietary habits, you may also wonder about the other habits of trolls. I will tell you all about them! First, let me tell you about their social habits. Trolls are known to constantly annoy others, just to annoy said others and..."
Inspire Courage +2 continues!

I was unclear! I know you healed Arval. Should have said 'he' since the subject in the sentence was Arval.
The trolls act with the one trapped in the gatehouse now looking to be in a state of pure panic. It roars, trying to rip through Arval once more to get the fire-bearing warrior away from it. It manages to bite hard onto Arval as it attacks him.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
The troll on the ground stands, drawing free swings from Arval and Eldon, and then turns, bolting away from the group! It squeezes into the narrow rocky path as it tries to escape.
Inspire courage up, +2 to attack/damage.

Whiskeyjack lashed out at the troll with his fiery hammer, this time turning to get a straight on blow, instead of going around the shield.

I currently have an AC of 27. 23 + Eldon's aid and Whiskey's saving shield. The attack should have missed.
Arval quickly turns around and tries to strike the Troll running away.
