Hearing that the bridge was being attacked Jessica paled, she hadn't expected taht and most of their forces were focused to the north. Jessica was hesitant to leave Delendir alone with the soldier but knew he was right. She nodded and said, "Yes, We'll be back soon." With that she began to move as quickly as she could towards the bridge.

Round 4
I put two groupings of giants on the map. Purple is up top and there is only one left. There is a grouping to the east of Tanner's bridge which is also two (White).
Delendir's arrows sailed off to the large giants in the distance, most of them finding their mark and none of them critically injuring anything. One of the giants to the north does seem to fall from Delendir's attacks however, leaving only one.
Vivi, Jessic and Yavenee all tear off for Tanner's as fast as they can. Familiar with Sandpoint, they know it's faster to cut through the back of the temple then to go through the street. Vivi pulls ahead as he makes for the bridge as fast as he can.
The stone giant to the north throws another boulder and this time it breaks the defenses. The gates to Sandpoint explode open in a shower of splinters and broken wood and men. With the gate busted open, the giant cheers to the north as he lifts another boulder and aims it at the ranger on top this time.
Attack Delendir: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 - 2 = 24
Confirm Attack Delendir: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 2 = 23
Crit Damage: 2d8 + 24 ⇒ (6, 4) + 24 = 34
The boulder travels towards Delendir with amazing speed and accuracy, blasting into him and nearly sending him flying off the tower in the process.
Vivi is 60' in front of the others and 90' from the bridge. Delendir is on the tower. There are three giants attacking the town.
Everyone is up.

Jessica moved as fast as she could trying to reach the bridge and help but stopped just at the edge of the grave yard to get a look at what was going on before moving any closer.
Yeah, Krysta's involved, but I was leaving her actions up to your judgement. Her two main goals are protecting her "horde" from harm and tracking down snakey b$&%@ to taunt with her sister's head and then slaughter for hurting Jess in book 2. Beyond that use your judgement as to what she is doing. If someone told her to take out the bridges then she's be trying to take down this one first since enemies are on it and the other one second since it's unassaulted just now.

So I move 90ft to the bridge and delay.

ROUND 5
On the north gate, things go from bad to worse. Delendir successfully dispatches a second giant, but two more walk up from behind it with huge boulders in hand. Both launch them two boulders each towards Delendir on the barely still functioning gate, but all four miss him. Two fly high and overshoot him and two fly low and slam into the stone building, rattling it underneath his feet.
Over on Tanner's bridge, it's more of the same. The two giants in the east launch a volley of boulders towards Vivi, one of which he can't avoid Damage: 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18. From behind the giants, two of the largest and fiercest looking bears you've ever seen in your life begin barreling towards the bridge.
Krysta pushes off from the tower where Delendir is and soars south towards the others at the bridge, coming in from an angle of attack over the Turandarok River.

This is going to hurt... possibly a lot...
The young monk spits blood upon the boulder as the impact leaves its toll. Glaring, the monk charges across the bridge toward the other side, kamas glowing with their magical energy in each hand.
So, move action to cross the bridge. 90ft move, not sure if that would get me in range or not. Round 5
As the monk crosses the bridge, Delendir's sleet storm trap is triggered and the bridge erupts as driving icy begins to coat the wooden walkway and made the terrain difficult to traverse. None of these seemingly affects the Tien man however, he quickly pushes through it and moves to engage the fierce bears before him. Though he comes close with his attacks, all three miss.
The ferocious bears retaliate with tremendous effectiveness that the monk did not posses, all six of their attacks striking the man, one of them nearly critically so. Lowest attack is 22 and it looks like that's his AC with Haste? Let me know if that's not accurate or if you have something to circumvent their attacks. Damage: 13+8+13+8+8+12+9=71

Sadly that is accurate for his AC, so... yeah.... Vivi is dead by a good 25 damage points of overkill. Sorry I couldn't be more useful.
| Vivi Evan Eni |
I don't see how. I charged by myself, so even if someone could have tried to intercept or whatnot they probably wouldn't have been in range (hell, given the speed difference they might not have been in range even if they did charge across after me). Ki can only be used to make better unarmed hits (not applicable) and unless some of these attacks require a reflex save to be made I have already thrown all my other class and item bonuses into my listed AC score (only one higher due to haste). If anything does require a reflex save I might have a chance, given I automatically take half damage even on failed saves, and no damage on successful ones. But it sounded like they just pummelled me into oblivion, so no saving throws possible.
| Jessica DuMorne |
I might be able to do something about that but I have to see what the map looks like when I get home. For some reason the images don't load right here at work. Worse comes to worse I can deal with it after the fighting so you don't have to stay dead Vivi.

Barely clinging to consciousness after the vicious assault, the monk decides that withdrawing might be in his best interest. Rushing back the way he came over the bridge, he nearly runs into Jessica.
"Wolves. Bad idea. Run!" Grabbing her by the waist, he keeps his back to the bridge, thus between her and the wolves, as he half pushes half carries her back to the other side.
So... using spring attack to either grapple or bullrush Jessica back over the bridge. Not sure if that is legal, feel free to disallow it. Obviously not doing damage to her, just using it as a way of moving her and me back to relative safety. Also rolling a panther strike in case they get an AoO on his withdraw, but I think that using spring attack should prevent it... but I could be misreading the ability.

Delendir drops two more arrows on the giant to the north, nearly taking it down.
Down by bridge, Vivi nearly gets caught in a bad spot with the sleet store and two dire grizzly bears not wolves. Realizing that a forward assault at this time is a bad idea, he scrambles backwards and picks up Jessica on his way. Both members fall back to the other side of the bridge and out of the range of the very, very large predators on the other side.
Some boulders come flying through the sleet storm, but they are nowhere close to hitting any of the party members as they come crsahing down all around them. For now at least, the sleet storm is providing cover between the enemies and themselves.

My mistake... chalk it up to Vivi not knowing the right word in the moment, ;)
Vivi keeps moving a good 20 feet past the near point of the bridge before finally stopping and setting Jessica down. Wincing from the deep wounds and heavy bloodloss, the monk turns to Sunday.
"Daud-san.... think you can... cut the bridge? Force the bears toward Delendir-san's bow?"
Move/"attack" to take myself and Jessica hopefully out of boulder range, then release the grapple... or whatever CM muggufin was working to get us both away from the hungry bears and their pet giants.

Jessica was rather shocked when Vivi picked her up bodily and ran. She didn't struggle against him as it was faster than doing it herself, and when he set her down again she tried to straighten her hair a bit.
