Hmm; so that's... 148 damage to each.
Ard: -39
Kin: -15
Arduino blinks in surprise. He looks down, then up, then tries to speak; the six arrows protruding straight through his chest prevent him.
He falls, reaching out for Kin, as great bloody wounds appear on the roc's plumage and she similarly drops to the ground with a piercing cry.
Dead and unconscious respectively.
Restored by Amarantha's golden channel, Kin rises, turning to let mournful cries fill the air as she looks at her fallen master; then she turns and sets herself against the mummy leader.

Hadjii
Hadjii will burn one of his cloak's Legendary Power points to negate the crit, reducing the damage by a DM-determined amount -- roughly 40% (I assume the last two dice are the crit damage: 8+4+30=42 less damage -- so Hadjii took 59, minus 10 for StoneSkin...)
Hadjii is unexpectedly serene about Jack's death (not wiped out with combo curse/disease; not disappeared to who-knows-where -- easily recovereable with a simple Raise Animal Companion spell -- no problem!)
the air-elemental driud will swap out his prepared Dust Form to spontaneously cast Summon Monster VI as a standard action, bringing 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 augmented dire wolves into play around the mummy.
(identify the wolves as "not rotated", "rotated 90 degrees", "rotated 180 degrees", "rotated 270 degrees"...)
Then he flits out of the room.

Reroll Crit: 1d20 ⇒ 9 no crit so Khufu has 26 more hp..
Hemket kills the closest harpy.. Khufu slams the mummy, but does not crit.
Ard goes down, but Kin fights rises and fights on.. Standing is a move action, so no full attack. Her bite misses..
Hadjii clogs up the battlefield with summoned wolves..

I did not see that Hadjii.. That was total damage Khufu..
With Hadjii out of the room the archer would have targeted Hemket instead.. So take 60 Hemket..
Khufu lands 2 nasty blows.. No crits.. Despite the damage taken leader stands..

Amarantha, Kin, and Hadjii are up.. Just one enemy now..

"N-no kidding" mutters Arduino as he pulls out a wand and seals his and Kin's wounds; he enjoys a quiet moment of reunion with the bird.

The archers each had:
+2 Comp LB(+8 str pull)
+2 Mithril Breatplate
Mwk Falchion
The leader had:
+3 Shocking Burst Scimitar
+3 Bashing Heavy Steel Shield
+4 Headband of Charisma
Gloves of Dueling
and
+4 Skymetal Breatplate(max dex +8)
Can use Windwalk 1/day(CL 11)
Wearer gains +4 resistance bonus vs Elec, wind effects, and all effects associated with magical or mundane weather.
Skymetal is a very rare metal obtained from fallen meteor's and such. It's very light despite its durability. This particular suit is worth around 40k with it's present enchantments.
Khufukhaf
That breastplate would grant the same AC as my current heavy armor, but someone should wear it.
The headband would be an upgrade for me, giving me a +1 to all saves.
The gloves probably came from the same manufacturer as the ones I (and every other 5th level fighter) have.
"That was an unpleasant encounter. Hopefully their souls will now rest easier in the afterlife."

I'm about 100 hp down from full.

"Hmm? Oh, here..." Arduino wanders over and with a wand, heals up Khufu.
10 charges from infernal healing wand; down to about 12/50 on one and 50/50 on the other I believe.

So how far down is everyone?
Khufukhaf
(Is the sarcophagus still glowing and hovering?)
"I know I am new to this venture, but does that seem normal to you folks?" Khufu asks as he gestures to the weird coffin.
".... and do any of you guys know who we just killed, and why she had an undead cow to keep her company in the afterlife?"

"Do any of you spell casters have the ability to call back the spirits of the departed and compel them to speak with us?"
GM Pox
The sarcophagus lid does still hover and glow.. Some detection reveals that it is magical. Strong necromancy radiates from it and from inside of the sarcophagus.
The bull was a mummified gorgon.
Also a few minutes after you kill the mummy leader you all feel the pyramid begin list and start moving.. It is moving in a downward direction at the pretty swift rate. It takes no genius to realize it is going to crash land..
Arduino the Lesser
Wait, that leader was the boss of the entire pyramid, not just that room? Neato.
Arduino lets out a yelp of surprise. Reaching out, a quick spell compresses Kin into a stone figurine. "It's crashing! Everyone who can't teleport, head for the exit! Everyone who can, follow me to the engine room and let's see if we can fix this!"
He quickly casts an eye over the sarcophagus.
K Arcana 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
"If someone's strong enough to carry that, could be worth it!"
GM Pox
Carrying the sarcophagus is out of the question. Trust me, you don't want to anyways..
Ard heads back towards the engine room.. Everyone else does?
I'll be nice and tell you that with the rate of descent your looking at a couple rounds before crashing..
Arduino the Lesser
Aye. Pretty please, if someone could ID the sarcophogus with spells just in case, please do so.
Hadjii
Hadjii glances at the DM with disdain: another unsaveable wolf! unless Khufu hefts the big wolf's body over his shoulder before we beam out...
"We will never make it to an exit in time -- our only hope to get out of here before hitting the ground is Arduino's Dimension Door..."
the air elemental signals for everyone to gather around the sorcerer. As the party moves in, he'll use a Mythic Point (and Faith's Reach) to cast Communal Air Walk on the whole party.
"Now you can cast Dimension Door to take us straight up into the air!"
Arduino the Lesser
GM, can I get confirmation that we don't have enough rounds to just run to the exit and fly aloft? Dimdoor absolutely necessary?
Khufukhaf
Khufu looks askance at the comments by the insubstantial wolf shaman.
"Come on pup..." he says to wolf as he spends a use of his Ka ability to grow back in size and grabs the wolf by the scruff of the neck.
I'm sure the divine might of Anubis will give me the strength to carry your wolf.
GM Pox
With haste you have enough time to clear the structure.. You will need to be flying obviously though.. Sorry Hadjii, the module actually states you crash the round following the mummy's death so I'm actually being quite generous here. Khufu looks to have it covered though.
Hadjii
Hadjii would certainly believe the others won't make it out: the potion of Fly only lasts for 5 minutes -- I think it has expired...
on the other hand, of the module sez the whole thing crashes immediately following the mummy's destruction -- that must mean either
a) crash is survivable;
b) the party is expected to magic its way out; or
c) TPK should be anticipated at this point
"Thank you, Master Khufu! I believe your size will use more of Ard's teleportation power...so I will try to make my own way out!"
with that, Hadjii dashes for the exit! hasted air elementals move pretty fast!
GM Pox
With Hadjii dashing out Ard can dem door the rest of you to safety..
You all witness the pyramid spiral out of control and crash on the edge of town.. Some structures are crushed but in large not much of the city was damaged..
Arduino the Lesser
Indeed, not the best result.
Arduino remains uncharacteristically silent as, aboard Kin, he swoops down to investigate the crash, and the damage to the pyramid.
Curious to see how much remains. Giant pyramid made of stone; would that be enough to survive this sort of relatively short fall?
GM Pox
500' is a short fall?
Ard flies over to inspect the damage and once the dust settles he discovers the pyramid is completely destroyed.. There is some semblence of what it used to be, but in large it is a pile a rubble..
Arduino the Lesser
Relative to the above-the-clouds height it was at previously, sure. But whatevs.
Astride Kin, Arduino turns to the cityfolk doubtless gathering around the ruin. He gulps, then raises a fist. "Erm... hooray! The brave heroes have defeated the pyramid that threatened to destroy our entire city! Consequently the destruction of only a very small part of it is a relief by contrast! Hooray, the brave heroes! Hooray, the brave heroes!"
Diplomacy 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19
GM Pox
There are some cheers, but mostly the town moves to try and rescue people that may have been trapped with the crashing pyramid..
What next?
Arduino the Lesser
Arduino helps out rescuing the trapped shame-facedly.
He leaves the planning for where to go next to others.
Head to the trenches next I believe?
Hemket
Given that a pyramid is traditionally made of stacked stone blocks, possibly without mortal, no way it would survive a fall. Even with mortal it would be completely brittle. A 50' drop would trash one.
"Well I guess we have to get to that trenches place that we were looking it before someone dropped a pyramid on us. "
GM Pox
Some info gained from the pyramid thats worth noting.. There are many of these flying pyramids, they were directed to attack cities across Osirion, they are all controlled by Hakotpe's main pyramid.
I assumed you guys would report back to the temple before heading out.. There is also the Chisisek’s mummy still too.. If you have any additional questions before you leave..
Arduino the Lesser
I suppose I'd ask how we can stop pyramids from falling out of the sky when their leaders die, or how we can hijack the leader's control.
Otherwise no questions, let's head to the trenches.
