You gained just under enough XP to 12th but I'm bumping you up to 12 anyway. Putting you at exactly 220,000 XP. Next level 13 is 315,000 XP.
We've completed Book 4 and will be starting Book 5. According to the advancement track, you should be 13th level but you haven't been having any difficulty with encounters, so 12th will be fine. (except that cheesy Catoblepas)
Ayako |
Will level up later. I have posted a treasure list on the last page with suggested divvies.
four potions of cure serious wounds (1 each person)
three potions of remove disease (1 Iolana,Ayako,Tyrando)
six potions of lesser restoration (1 each, 2 in kitty)
three potions of gaseous form (1 Ayako,Iolana,Tyrando)
2 doses of dust of disappearance (Kitty)
wand of cure critical wounds (40 charges) Ayako
scroll of break enchantment (Iolana)
scroll of heal (Ayako)
scroll of limited wish (Iolana)
scroll of resurrection (Ayako)
two candles of truth (Kitty)
3 doses of stone salve (Kitty)
bag of holding (type IV) (Kitty, on Fluffy?)

I know I repeat myself, but once you have some free time, whether with internet or not, you need to level from eight to 12 now. Or doing the "I got more kills than you" game will become boring.
(I remember that you only forgot to change the 8 in the subtitle not the level up, but the level distance sums up with time ;)
Tyrandro Amprei |
Only thing appealing to Tyrandro is the dusty rose prism ioun stone.
Fluffy would take the belt of physical might for some extra HP from the con boost, but only if Sebastian doesn't want it and we don't need the money for something else.
Tyrandro Amprei |
And now I'd need Celestial Armor. I ran into the Dex to AC limitation of my breastplate.
+1 Dex
Skills on everything I max and ride and stealth.
Fluffy got +2 Nat armor plus, +1 on Str and Dex and a skill point that went into perception.

Unfortunately Kaer Maga is your best bet to sell and shop. Magnimar is about 600 miles away and none of you have been there so your first trip will need to be on foot. Also, Kaer Maga although a despicable city, is not really part of the scope of the campaign and you won't have any negative encounters there. But you can roleplay it however you like.
Castle Scarwall where Chapter 5 takes place is 300 miles from the Cinderlands.
You should do as much shopping as you can now. Chapter 5 is one giant dungeon. Although nothing is stopping you from teleporting back and forth if you need to.
I'll try to figure out what you are keeping and calculate the gold you are getting.

Ok, so after divvying out all the consumables which I’m not going to both to list, we have the following:
Mithral Chain Shirt +2 – I see Ayako has a chain shirt +2 so can upgrade. The mithral probably doesn’t do too much for her, but why not.
Boots of Striding and Springing – someone should take this, if not just for the extra 10 ft movement. Only Sebastian seems to have boots at the moment.
Belt of Physical Might +2 Str, Con – Give to Tunstall. I’m sure Sebastian wants something with Dex.
Dusty Rose Prism Ioun Stone – Tyrando said he wanted it
Headband of Mental Prowess +2 Wis, Cha – Iolana
Bag of Holding IV – can be the party’s new bag. The Type I bag you had can go to MuShu
Cloak of Resistance +2 – Mushu had a +1. Everyone else has at least +2
Selling:
Snaggletooth's Mithral Spiked Collar
Leather Armor +1
Sawtooth Sabre +1
Dagger
Cloak of Resistance +1
Mask of the Mantis
Ring of Protection +1
Full Plate +1
Masterwork Heavy Steel Shield
Longsword +1
Composite Longbow (+3 Str)
Full Plate
Heavy Steel Shield +1
Flaming Longsword +1
Golden Holy Symbol of Urgathoa
Cherrywood Coffer
Cruel Longsword +1
Assuming this is correct, you’ll each 19,398 gold, 6 silver, and 3 copper.
Let me know if it looks good or any changes to make.
Tunstall |
In that case, there is a belt Str+2 that Fluffy doesn't need any more. Selling, or is there some caster having trouble to carry her stuff?
I use boots of speed, and I don't move a lot. But Ayako with her limp might benefit from the speed increase to not stay behind, if we have to flee or in a chase.
As for Kaer Maga: Is there everything from the book available? Because with that much money the celestial armor is no longer something to look forward to in the future.
And in that case I'd have an agile mithral +1 breastplate (new 5400gp) to throw in, if someone wants it.
Tyrandro Amprei |
I'm way ahead of you. The gold above includes selling Ayako's chain shirt and Tunstall's belt. The above amount is the correct total you all receive.
And the +1 Mithral Agile Breastplate?
Iolana Altumas |
My headband of Alluring Charisma +2 is also up for grabs or sale. 4,000 Purchase price
I picked up a Piercing Metamagic Rod 11,000
Silet Metamagic Rod 11,000
Bag of Holding 1 2,500
Anyone want my Handy Haversack? Otherwise it's for sale and money split. 2,000 Purchase Price
The Dread Pirate Hurley |
I'm...actually going to buy stuff this time. I'll have to go and look back to see roughly what I should have, but an exact total is so far beyond happening it's gone from being not funny to coming around to hilarious. The irony is that this is easily the longest-running campaign I've been in XD
Level 12
Stat increase: +1 to Dex
HP: +9
BAB: +1
Saves: +1 Fort, Ref, Wil
Skills: +1 to: Acrobatics, Climb, Intimidate, Kn. (local), Perception
As for items, I'll probably look to sell what I've got and improve whatever I can. I've got +1 Mithral Chain Shirt, a mundane buckler (wow), and a +1 Human Bane Rapier that can all probably be improved. Cloak of Resistance +2, Ring of Protection +1 are lower on the list. Belt of Incredible Dexterity +2 is getting outdated as well.
I guess, from an in-character perspective, it might be a good time to start putting together a respectable Blackjack kit of his own.
GM Peachbottom |
You guys don't have to split personal items back among the party if you don't want to. Just consider it an upgrade.
This place is absolutely undead heavy. Don't forgot when you performed the ritual with the Sun Shaman and Zellara, you added either undead-bane to one of your weapons or ghost-touch to one of your armors. It also gave you a one-time save against a death effect but using this will also burn off the weapon or armor bonus.
Sounds good Sebastian. Don't worry about the exact amount. Just do the best you can.

There is something special I'd like to have to be prepared for incorporeal undead. It's from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide (page 48), Costs 200gp. I'd take 5 of them. Is that available?
Weapon Blanch (Ghost Salt): This gritty alchemical
powder is made from exotic minerals mixed with an
infusion crafted from the ectoplasmic remains of
destroyed incorporeal undead. When rubbed onto a
weapon that is then placed over a hot f lame for a full
round, ghost salt melts and forms a temporary coating on
the weapon. The blanching gives the weapon the ability
to do full damage to incorporeal creatures, even if the
weapon itself is nonmagical. An application of ghost salt
remains effective until the weapon makes a successful
attack. Each dose of weapon blanch can coat one weapon or
up to 10 pieces of ammunition. Only one kind of weapon
blanch can be on a weapon at one time (see the Advanced
Player’s Guide for other forms of weapon blanch).

Antimagic field against the Lich?
A suggestion from Reddit: NPC sage to learn about all its weaknesses and attacks is the best preparation and more reliable than trusting their own knowledge religion check.
Iolana Altumas |
I read antimagic field, and decided against taking it when I leveled.
I was just re reading my Rod of Wonder effects last night. I might have better luck with that than the anitmagic field. At least it would be interesting. :)
