I can do all of those things. The bow would take one day, the ioun stone would take another, and the cloak would take four days. It would cut the costs in half, but I would have to work them into my schedule.

It doesn't look like you have a headband for a wisdom boost. A bead of newt prevention is one of my favorite low cost defenses. An amulet of natural armor would stack with your other bonuses.

If we need to visit the dragon again in another month, I suggest we ask the Red Dragon to drop us at the mouth of the river and meet us there again in weeks. We could light a signal fire when we are there to be picked up.

The reason we were looking to go to Zelkor's Ferry again was primary to give us a reasonably safe place to hunker down while the rest of the week passes before Aurora can use the scroll of restoration on Bedlam to get rid of his last negative level. Secondarily, we can supply up, check on our interests and do a little more crafting before we head back into Rappan Athuk.

I've got a really interesting DM situation on my hands with how complicated this encounter has gotten. I'll post in a bit.

Also, Seattle is a great city for games and nerdy things in general. But if you ever get to Bremerton, WA--I don't think I've ever seen such a dorky town. There's a huge game store with a tavern called Helm's Deep in the basement! I think we might move there. To Bremerton, that is, not the Deep.

A communal protection from evil would allow those affected to reroll their saves without affording the same benefit to the lions. I'm not sure if Aurora could swing that or not. Same with a silence spell; if the affected are brought into the area of effect, I would think it would end it.
