What are the thoughts on the drafts?

The snake is obviously meant for grab & hold.

The bird is meant as agile, and at lvl 10 ranger, it will take spring attack for quick hit & run.

Though i'd have to buy an AoaMF and light armor by then.

Have missed that acronym along the way, what is AoaMF?

Did you include the toughness hp in the totals? Wouldn't Con 18 give +4hp/lvl, nine levels there would be +36 right? Or perhaps I'm missing something have only worked with one companion and they're not that far along.

I loathe Animal Companions as a player and thus almost never use them. Anything that's extra bookkeeping when I'm a player is usually a no from me.

Niles, this is probably a meta question, but will we face a majority of land based opponents, in the rest of the AP?

This in relation to choosing between those animal companions.

Yes. But only because most opponents in the bestiaries are land based.

I'll say this, and its not really giving anything away, but eventually you are heading into Starfall (a metropolis) and then the Silver Mountain (if you haven't guessed its a crashed spaceship).

Well guys. We have a decision here as well. I don't mind running the AP for just you 3, I can scale back a ton of enemies and shorten the encounters a bit. This will help with healing being a problem.

We could, I guess, get someone but we are really far into an AP for a brand new person.

I really don't wanna shutter this game we are close to ending.

Personally I'd rather just push forward with the 3 of you. We could add a Druid "Follower" (WE JUST MET ONE WHO OWES YOU A LIFE DEBT). But someone would have to run him as a Follower.

It would be great if we can finish this! I'd prefer to run as 4 if possible somehow, if either Jarreck or Gauire feel like running a druid follower then problem solved :)

Personally I think I'm in too many games to want to take something like that on. I don't mind recruiting but I'd prefer if it was somebody we knew from other games.

I can understand your concern on recruiting at this point in a storyline. I know of that issue as well.

If we have to think of dependable posters from our other games, i can think of 1. Niles, it's Sivar's player.

Otherwise, it seems one of us two will be having the druid as a 2nd.

Me running the druid would probably be best as a last resort; but it was mentioned and I was just trying to check and see what needed to be done.

Never been a druid so would be a bit of a learning curve.

Only thing that might be good is the belt gives him another chance at the Fort save against the disease.

Since Jarreck would retain his current skill ranks; if he looses the +2 Intelligence that Elf gives, in HL would you apply permanent additional skill points to the character for the additional points used, and then the next level up he gets the new skill point total?

Hmm spells. Seventeen hasn't summoned much for a while in combat but Animal Growth sounds fun, can buff pets too (Hello Guaire!) Maybe wall of light too. As a side note we are entering the levels where magic starts to get ridiculously powerful. I'll try not to break the game.
