Well placed to help defend her companions, Hinagiku opts to continue healing those that are the most in need of it, in this case Li’an who is still sporting red blisters from the veela’s cold attacks. With fluid motions from her hands and arms, she guides the healing ley from Unafe to their brigidine companion, restoring much of her skin.

As she is guiding the ley, the monk keeps an eye on Unafe and, seeing that she is fighting more carefully than usual, calls out to her.

Li'an's healing magic slowly mends the torn flesh on Myrna's side, and the once-open gashes begin to close. But the battle rages on, and the coral golem focuses its attention on Unafe, who swims directly above it. The golem menacingly lifts both of its claws, and Hinagiku darts in to protect Unafe. She manages to deflect one of the golem's limbs, but the other slips past her, striking Unafe with a hewing stroke that tears through her guard and cuts deep into her flesh. Her blood begins to mix with the salt water around her.

Ehren carefully backs away from the melee, having no interest in getting caught between the two giant Kellid women and their golem opponents. Figuring that it will not be long before the constructs are demolished and out of spells that can meaningfully affect them, he finally decides to address his ailment. Focusing on one of the wands melded with his body, Ehren invokes its restorative powers.

Ehren takes a 5-foot step and begins casting lesser restoration from his wand (round 1/3).

Myrna and Unafe work together to keep the big dinosaur-warrior from harm. Unafe deflects one of her own blows, but just when the golem seems ready to take advantage of her distractedness, Myrna is there, taking the blow.

She pulls in a deep breath from the air bubble around her and begins to sing a death lament for her foes, a Hallit ballad welcoming them to the afterlife that guarantees all those who stand before her. At the same time, she swings into her opponent with her axe.

After taking the hit for Unafe, Myrna braces herself for the strike, the weight of her axe heavy in her hands. As she begins her death lament, she throws her entire body into the swing, the force of the blow sending ripples through the water. Her axe slices through the golem's coral form, leaving a deep, gaping wound in its side. Coral shards scatter through the water as the golem thrashes in agony, but it's no use - it's trapped in Unafe's vice-like grip, unable to break free from the saurian warrior's sheer strength.

The layout of the room was problematic for Li'an contributing any additional healing, and the golems rendered her magic spells moot. Instead she focuses her attention on the metal hatch that had been guarded, trying to glean what information she can from a distance about how it operates, and whether it might be warded. After looking it over, and with a quick wave, she enhances her senses to detect magic and begins trying to focus on the hatch.

Li’an gives the metal hatch a lookover. She does not see any traps on the hatch, but she assumes it’s a safe bet it is locked. It looks very heavy. She then focuses on her magic, trying to see if the hatch was magical, but does not sense any magical auras emanating from the hatch nor the golems.

Unafe feels Myrna's song lifting her. Suddenly the Sacred Ancestors thrum with peace and purpose, as they are honored by the skald's song. When the Myrna takes a blow that Unafe knew was coming for her, Unafe gives Myrna a nod of respect.

"Mae'n dda bod yn gweithio fel un eto, chwaer. Dyma sut rydyn ni'n Sarkoriaid i fod."

Hallit: "It is good to be working as one again, sister. This is how we Sarkorians are meant to be."

The Demetae clan-liege strengthens her grip on the golem and slams it into the wall behind it, cracking off more hunks as she does so.

Depending on if/when she's able to drop #2:

Unafe starts by maintaining her grapple (dealing damage), and slamming it (for more damage). If #2 is still up at that point:

She gives the one in her arms one more rapid punch--and then, even if it's still standing--pivots to give the unharmed one a massive blow to the shoulder, sending hunks of brightly colored coral spinning through the waters.

If #2 drops after the slam, Unafe pivots to #1 starting with her rapid pummel.

Now that everyone is almost wound free, Hinagiku lets go of the threads of healing ley. As the ley resumes its normal flow, Hinagiku enters a meditative state. With slow fluid motions, almost dancelike, she sways from side to side, her arms gathering and pushing the ethereal flow of the world around her until her focus and senses grow more precise. In doing so, Hinagiku becomes more aware of Unafe’s position and movements and, once more, calls out to the saurian warrior.

”Myrna and I are there Mrs. Unafe, you can focus on the fight. Look, it is going to strike flow from the left.”

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Unafe's claws sink deeper into the golem's coral form as she propels it towards the jagged wall. The impact is so forceful that the coral shatters and fragments scatter in all directions, creating a cloud of dust and debris. Without any hesitation, Unafe rains down a flurry of punches on the already damaged golem, her adamantine-wrapped knuckles leaving deep imprints on the golem's stony body.

As the golem begins to crumble, Unafe unleashes a final, crushing strike that reduces it to a pile of rubble. But she is not yet finished, and she turns her attention to the second golem. With fierce determination, Unafe charges towards it, her massive frame creating a wake in the water. She raises her arm high and brings it down with a thunderous force, delivering a crushing blow that sends bright, colorful coral shards flying in all directions. The golem falls to the ground in a shower of debris, defeated and shattered, as Unafe emerges victorious.

Unafe deals 47 damage to Golem 2 and 96 damage to Golem 1, destroying both.

Sensing the ethereal threads that animated the golems slowly depart their broken bodies, Hinagiku relaxes and allows herself to more fully attune herself to rarefied ley around her, sharpening her senses in the process.

Now adequately attuned, Hinagiku swims to the trap door, gently pushing bits of broken corral out of the way, and peers through the key hole, hoping she might get a glimpse of what lays beyond.

Not seeing much, the monk then turns to Ganymede.

”Mr. Ganymede, how do we open the door?” she says, enunciating slowly and carefully.

Ganymede furrows his brow in thought, though as an invisible presence, Hinagiku can't see his expression. "ბოდიში," he replies in Aquan - one cannot speak easily in any other language underwater, without air. Myrna's song ends quickly, but still eases her pain with the vigor it imparts her with. She takes a few moments to rest and refocus, getting ready for what she was sure would be a difficult encounter ahead. They had reached some kind of vault door for sure, and beyond lay the enemy of a demigod. They didn't have time to delay for long, and so after she's finished refocusing, she reaches out to grab the hatch's handle. She thinks about planting her feet on the hatch's edge to give her better leverage, but Myrna does not have any feet. So instead she just looks around to see that no one is screaming, 'hey, no, stop!', and then she kicks her tail as powerfully as she can to try and force the door open.

Strength: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Myrna heals 4 and stops bleeding.
Then she recovers her maneuvers, as well as martial focus (3 full-round actions).
Then we're gonna try to pull this door open.

With the golems destroyed and the path behind them closed, Ehren is given a moment to catch his breath. Uninterrupted, he finishes channeling his wand's power, restoring some of the vitality sapped by the veelas' dance. The druid's posture improves immediately, as though a great weight was just taken off him.

"Is cinnte go bhfuil. Rinne duine fiú iarracht mé a ithe, uair amháin," Ehren remarks to Ganymede as Myrna tries to open the hatch, to no avail.

Tongue of the Land:
"We certainly have. One even tried to eat me once."

Ehren's exhaustion is reduced to fatigue.

Unafe waits half a minute, while Myrna recovers. As she does, Unafe centers herself as well and takes a look at the hatch, wondering if it is trapped, or simply locked.

When Myrna fails to open the hatch, Unafe smiles, "Let me try."

It's much harder than she'd anticipated, but she calls on the Saurian Spirits to strengthen her and gives it a massive heave, ripping it off it's hinges.

Unafe swims down confidently and stands on the cavern floor in front of the hatch. Unafe takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, feeling the power of the Saurian Spirits coursing through her veins. She flexes her muscles, coiling them like steel springs, and readies herself for the task at hand.

Unafe throws her weight into the hatch, using all the strength she can muster. The hatch creaks and groans under the immense pressure, but it stubbornly refuses to move.

Unafe grits her teeth and doubles down, her muscles bulging with the strain as she channels the energy of the spirits. The air around her crackles with power, and the Sacred Saurians start to screech and honk, and then her eyes blaze with an intense pink light....

Finally, with a massive heave, the hatch yields to her strength and flies open with a deafening metallic screech. Unafe steps back, gasping for breath. The hatch reveals yet another tunnel that extends downwards into the dark waters.

"შესანიშნავი!" says Ganymede. "მოდი, ვიჩქაროთ." Ganymede swims down the tunnel behind the hatch in an instant, unwilling to wait a moment longer.

Aquan:

"Excellent!"

"Come, let's hurry."

By the time Ganymede’s answer is translated to Hinagiku, the door to the prison is ripped from its hinges by Unafe, making any reply she had as meaningless as the door’s key. Pulling herself until she reaches the edge of the opening, Hinagiku peers in readying a question for Ganymede, which simply deadpans as the fey swims past her down the tunnel.

”Wait, any dangers?” she tries to ask, hoping Ganymede will curb his imprudent enthusiasm and slow down for them. One way or another, Ganymede seemed like he would be acting as a scout.

Then, before following the fey in, Hinagiku senses her companions, assessing once more everyone’s state. It was difficult to tell, but Ehren’s watery form was less alert than it had been, perhaps it was the bubbles flowing more sluggishly or a slightly hunched posture.
”Ehren-kun, come, I can relieve some of your fatigue.” Hinagiku says, using the healing energy connected to her hand to lighten her fiance's load.

Ready to go unless Ganymede brings new info about enemies.

Li'an abandons her spell and turns her attention to Unafe as the fight ends and she begins to work to rip the door off its hinges. Li'an had considered offering to try to figure out the door's mechanism, but the screech of twisting metal made it clear that was no longer necessary.

"Do you know anything of the layout inside?" she asks Ganymede, following up Hinagiku's question.

"Wow!" cries Myrna, beaming at Unafe. "You didn't need any help at all! Remind me never to fight with you, Chief." She grins at her compatriot and then dives quickly after Ganymede, hoping to keep up with their invisible fey friend, and protect him from any dangers they might find, here on this alien rock, deep in these depths, beyond the vault door.

Ehren looks on as Unafe picks the lock - and the hatch itself - off the ground and tosses it aside. It is no less impressive than the other feats of strength he has seen her perform, but by now he expects no less of the mighty saurian warrior.

When Hinagiku beckons for him, the druid swims over and reaches out, taking her hand in his own. He feels her power flow into him, mending the rest of his wounds and melting away what remains of his fatigue.

"Thank you," he says with some semblance of a smile, well aware that she can read him like an open book.

Ready to move on.

The heroes are greeted by an eerie silence as they swim through the frigid waters, their bodies protected from the deathly chill by the Archdruid's magic. They follow Ganymede down a dark tunnel, the only source of light coming from Li'an and Ehren's magic. The tunnel twists and turns, leading them deeper and deeper into the icy depths.

At last, the tunnel gives way to a vast underwater cavern. The water is crystal clear. The cavern is empty, except for the colossal metallic ruins that are half-buried in silt and sand.

Ganymede leads the way and swims up to the surface, breaking through the water with a loud splash. He points towards the center of the cavern, where a small island of ice emerges from the water. The island is coated with snow and ice, and several tunnels lead into it from various directions.

But what draws their attention is the immense block of ice suspended from the ceiling, held up by thick chains. Hundreds of figures are encased within, their faces twisted in terror and pain. At the forefront of the frozen crowd is a blue-skinned giant, dressed in regal attire and frozen solid, her eyes staring straight ahead in defiance.

"აი ის არის!" Ganymede exclaims, abruptly dismissing his invisibility and appearing, his finger pointing towards the frozen giant. "არის ლედი ჟალე. ჩვენ უნდა გავათავისუფლოთ იგი."

Aquan:

"There she is!"

"There is Lady Zhaleh. We must free her."

Unafe sighs with relief at finally reaching Lady Zaleh.

Ganymede's voice echoes through the icy cavern, his words heavy with sorrow and anger. As he speaks, his face contorts into a grimace, and his eyes blaze with intensity.

Li'an sees Ganymede's consternation that he knew little of what they would deal with once they went inside. Li'an gives him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. ""Narahat olma Qanymede, biz ledi Zhalehə çatacağıq, nə olursa olsun," she says.

Sylvan:
"Don't worry Ganymede, we will make it to Lady Zhaleh, whatever may lie ahead."

She swims through the tunnel along with the others, wondering whether there might be more guardians ahead. When they finally see air above, Li'an surfaces from the water and crawls onto land slowly, her merfolk form far less adapted to moving on land than the water. Taking stock of the frosty room they'd surfaced in, she wonders how the Sarcens had used the ruins before. As she looks about, it's not long before she takes note of the massive block of ice in which Lady Zhaleh and her cohort were entombed.

Without much effort she realizes she could easily melt the ice with perhaps a couple of *fireballs*, but given the potency of her flames, she wasn't certain that wouldn't harm or kill those inside.

"We will get them out, I promise. All of them"

"I believe I could melt the ice, but I'm worried I might harm them. I think our best bet might be to bring the ice down gently and try to determine how to weaken it to break it open," she explains to her allies.

Looking around the room at the entrances, she then turns to the Archdruid, "While I work with Unafe and Myrna on how to bring this down, would you and Daisy check the tunnels to make sure we don't get any unexpected company?"

Before committing to anything, Li'an decides first to see whether the ice itself was enchanted, or simply mundane ice. She first dispels her merlock form, freeing her from the burden of gravity and begins to drift up towards the block and chain. Calling upon her magic silently, she enchants her eyes to detect magic and begins to study the mass and the chain above.

Hinagiku gently puts a finger to her lips when the others speak, who knew what guardians could walk in on them through the various tunnels that led into the cave. After nodding to Li’an, she dives back underwater and swims as stealthily as possible to the island. There, she slowly emerges, keeping ripples to a minimum and settles in a crouch from where she can keep an eye on all of the tunnels leading into the cave. She stays still for a few moments before slowly moving in and, following the cave walls, peering into each of the tunnels one at a time.

Hinagiku:

Hinagiku thinks back on what she has read, but she has not heard much about veelas. She had heard that they are elementals, but she does not know know whether or not they have souls. She does not think they can have souls, based on how she understands the multiverse works, but she is also coming to realize she knows very little about the elemental planes.

Hinagiku swims onto the island's shore, leaving tracks across the snowy surface as she walks. She investigates the first few tunnels that lead away from the island - some into the cavern walls, some digging ever deeper, but she doesn't hear or see anything concerning.

Li'an:

Li'an flies up until she is 10' away from the enormous icy prison, filled with hundreds of people, and then casts detect magic. She can sense at least 86 different auras of different intensities within the icy prison. The most powerful aura she can sense is overwhelming, like that which comes from an artifact.

She can focus on each aura individually, starting from the most powerful aura down the weakest, if she wants to, by rolling K.Arcana and Spellcraft for each aura. This would take 1 round per aura.

Myrna pulls herself ashore with the others, marveling at the massive ice prison filled with hundreds of would-be rebels. She casts her gaze around the room, noting that they were in a massive chamber with an island in the center and several tunnels leading away to other places.

"Ganymede," she asks, as she resumes her normal form, her legs coming apart from the tail and the scales melting off of her normally ashen-grey skin, "Do you know how to get out of here, without going back the way we came?"

She wonders about the possibility of some army coming to meet them. Surely when they freed all of these people, they would be disoriented and confused. They were not likely to speak Taldane. And they would be hostile towards every other force that the group had encountered thus far on the comet.

Plus, they still had not even begun to make progress on the actual thing they were here to do. Supposedly Zhaleh would know something about this "Sara" they were here to retrieve. Myrna gets to her feet and she hopes that they had come here for a good reason.

"Whelp," she says, putting her hands on her hips and leaning back to look up at the huge icicle. "I have no idea how to get those people down from there. Anyone have a pickaxe?"

As Li'an takes in the massive structure before her, she begins to realize how many different magical auras were present within the ice. It strikes her as odd that the number was so large but seemingly still smaller than the number of people in the block. The presence of an artifact-level aura was concerning as well. Continuing her concentration she focuses, trying to gain information on the locations of the various auras, especially trying to determine if they correlate with the locations of individuals, the ice itself, or the chain holding the ice.

"Hang on a minute Myrna, and I'll try to figure out how we can get it down safely. We need to know if this is warded or not," she replies when she hears Myrna considering taking action immediately on the block.

Li'an continues to focus, but she doesn't see any large auras that encompass the entirety of the ice or the chains, just dotted around those frozen within. However, she also knows that with the presence of such a powerful aura in the ice, weaker auras may be difficult or impossible to discern due to its intensity.

Ganymede follows the others onto the island, along with Pagbean, who simply swims the rest of the way then pulls himself onto shore. Lohad continues to swim around the island, as she does not have any legs to walk on.

As the various auras come into focus, Li'an quickly determines that the magic seems to correlate with individuals, with the strongest belonging unsurprisingly to Lady Zhaleh. Neither the ice itself, nor the chain seemed to be warded, which she found odd, but perhaps they'd considered the rebellion quashed enough to not take additional precautions against magic or tampering in general. Curious about the magic being used, she spends a bit identifying the three most powerful auras, beginning with Zhaleh's.

Once her curiosity is sated, she flies down. "I am going to use magic to try to give me a better understanding of how to bring it down. Do you mind if I have the potion of heroism you've been carrying Daisy?"

Once she secures the potion, she downs it, tossing the vial into the snow, then channels her own magic to amplify the heroism. Then she begins to unravel the enchantment that allowed her to retrieve knowledge on many topics with ease. Unlike many spells, it was designed to have a particular effect when released, this time condensing the magic into a temporary burst of insight into any particular skill she might need. She'd played around with it a few times back in Drezen, on much more mundane things like cooking well, but this was the first time she'd truly needed it for something important. As the strands of magic snap free, she focuses on understanding the engineering of the massive cube above her. In an instant her mind is flooded with information gleaned from books across the world: dwarven treatises on sound engineering of stone passages, human textbooks on siege engineering, memories of the Kellids on how best to extract ice for drinking from glaciers without bringing the entire wall crashing down, and so on.

Wanting to maximize their chance of freeing the host of people safely, she draws upon her spellcraft to further bestow insight to herself on the subject as she begins to ascend again. She then begins to study the ice and chain closely, as well as the island beneath and the ceiling above to try to understand how to go about rescuing them.

Three primary questions came to mind: Firstly, how to release the chain. Destroying it was an option, but might be quite difficult. If there was a way to do so without brute force, she wanted to know. Secondly, given the height, what was likely to happen when the ice comes crashing down? The cube was massive, and the people frozen in without anything to protect them save the ice they were entombed in. Killing or wounding them due to carelessness was something she wished to avoid. Finally, and most importantly, while she could just simply melt the entire block all at once, there was no guarantee that wouldn't harm those within. Instead, she hoped she could leverage her magic to weaken the ice strategically so that Unafe and Myrna could shatter the ice block without harming those within.

Moving from her hiding spot, Hinagiku walks to Li'an while foraging in her messenger back. After a moment, she produces the years old vial of ceramic she had found on a troll long ago. After putting it in Li'an hands, she returns to her watch spot which she now realizes is the centre of many footprints in the snow.

Li'an determines the following most powerful auras:

- Zhaleh's staff, which is silver and inlaid with beautiful blue gemwork, is a powerful artifact. Li'an would need more time to study exactly what it does, but she suspects it gives its wielder power over water and ice. She knows that it would be very dangerous to try and break this staff - doing so would likely set off a magical explosion, or possibly break a rift into time and space.

- A stout, aged woman in uniform has a set of potions in a bandoleer - each allow the imbiber to transform into various water elementals, brine dragons, or underwater creatures and monsters as though using shapechange, for three hours.

- A ring that can transform into a frost short spear, as well as into a mirrored buckler

Li'an:

Is there a way to release the chain from the ceiling without having to destroy it outright?

Li'an thinks that they could use any combination of magic, such as through warp metal or physical force to manipulate the links in the chain and unhook it from the ceiling. However, once two anchor-points were released the block of ice would fall, and likely rip the other two anchor points down from the ceiling.

If the Ice falls unslowed, what will happen to the block, and will the people frozen within be harmed in the process, and if so, how badly?

Li'an does not think that, given the reduced gravity they had encountered so far on this comet, that the block would fall with enough force to injure it, let alone those on the outside.

Once the Ice is on the ground, is it possible to use scorching ray in several key spots to weaken the block so that Unafe and Myrna can shatter it with a punch, rather than having to melt the entire block?

What's the total weight of the block? Could Unafe and Myrna and Ehren work together to catch it?

Li'an guesses it probably weighs around 200,000 pounds. She doesn't know them well enough to know the upper limits of their strength, as they've only all just met.

Could we secure spider-silk or other ropes to it to help slow its fall enough to land it safely?

Li'an doesn't have any tools to engineer any sorts of devices, nor does she have any rope.

Unafe:

Hallit: "Now, focus. How are you going to save that marid? We need her."

"If we free it, its fall won't harm anyone inside," Li'an begins to explain as she drifts down, "But once two chains are broken it will start to fall and rip out the other anchor points. Would you be able to weaken two of the four chains--ones opposite each other--before breaking the other two Unafe? That way they should fail and limit the damage to the roof above us."

"Once it's down I think I can weaken it enough that you and Myrna can shatter it with strikes in the right places"

Unafe nods to Li'an and smiles. "Then I'm up!"

As Unafe says the word up, she leaps effortlessly into the air (only remembering at the last minute to leap with reduced force, given the gravity here.

"Stand back, everyone! We don't know if this thing'll roll or swing, and I don't want any of you under it!"

She clings to the ceiling and goes to work following Li'an's guidance: Unafe punches the spot where the first chain anchors to the ceiling, aiming to weaken it. Then she leaps again to the opposite anchor and does the same. Finally, she stops holding back and starts severing the remaining chain or two until it falls.

Rolling a bunch of punches. I can do one in a round that I move, or two (second at -5 to hit, if it matters) as a full round attack, if I have to stay with one for a while.

Unafe springs into action with the grace and ease of a seasoned warrior. Her muscles flex and ripple as she propels herself towards the ceiling in one fluid motion. As she ascends, the weightlessness of her leap is countered by the unfamiliar gravity of the place they find themselves in, but she quickly adjusts her force, determined to not let anything slow her down.

Gripping the massive chain with her hands, Unafe begins to follow Li'an's guidance, her senses sharp and her focus unbreakable. With each strike, her fist connects with the anchor point in a resounding thud, the force of her blows echoing across the chamber. She continues to leap and punch her way across the ceiling with incredible speed and agility, her movements so quick and precise that it seems like she's dancing across the ceiling.

With two anchors weakened, Unafe turns her attention to a third set of chains in-between them. The metal groans and creaks as she unleashes a fierce barrage of punches, striking the chains with deadly accuracy. Sparks fly in all directions as the metal begins to buckle under the force of her assault, and it's clear that Unafe is not holding back.

Finally, with a mighty blow that reverberates throughout the chamber, the last chain gives way. The block of ice begins to fall towards the ground, and Unafe lands gracefully, her eyes fixed on the plummeting cube. Thanks to her efforts and the quick thinking of her companions, the block of ice lands unscathed on the ground with a loud crash.

"Perfect Unafe, now lets see if we can't get it open" Li'an says as she moves herself into position. With a few key scorching rays she hoped to leave the ice block vulnerable to being smashed open by the combined efforts of Myrna and Unafe.

One after another she unleashes a ray of flame, the magic melting a neat hole into each of the areas she'd chosen. As the second hits, it seems to hit a frozen bubble inside which expands violently, cracks snaking out from where it once was into the surrounding ice.

She'd chosen the three to be roughly over each other along an area where there was a high number of people lined up. If she was right, Myrna could cleave here with her axe to propagate a crack between the three flame-bored holes, and then a good hit from Unafe would cause it to begin to wind its way through the depths of the block, taking advantages of the structural weaknesses in the ice due to the prisoners being present.

Still in water elemental form, Ehren watched with bated breath as Unafe broke the chains holding up the immense ice block one by one, bringing it crashing down. The reduced gravity worked to their advantage, allowing it to land without sustaining damage. He suspects it would have been fine regardless; ice was much harder than anyone gave it credit.

Ehren peers into the ice, now able to take a better look at the trapped figures within, including the unmistakable form of Lady Zhaleh. He had not known what to expect of her prison, but being sealed away with so many others - presumably all at once - spoke of the power of her adversary. The druid frowns, wondering who other than Kelizandri himself could have performed such a feat. And yet, in her captor's absence, her prison is all too vulnerable.

When Li'an signals that she is about to cast her spell, Ehren backs away again, giving the ice block a wide berth. With so many people being freed at once, things would likely grow chaotic very soon.

Unafe enjoys the rush of leaping through the alien canyon, and sending the massive ice prison crashing down.

She watches for Li'an's mark, and then gives two precise punches, hoping to split the block; freeing at least Lady Zhaleh, and ideally quite a few more at once.

Myrna watches, open-mouthed, while Unafe sailw through the air, lands on the ice-prison, and brings the massive structure toppling to the ground.
Then Li'an jumps into action, lasering the ice with powerful flames. As cracks begin to build in the ice, Unafe jumps back to land on the ground.

While all of this happens, Myrna grows to large size, drawing her axe. She could help shatter the ice, if she was able to master her strength. As the thing settles to the floor, she joins Unafe in assaulting the prison, leaping as high as she can go and bringing her axe down with a brutal strike.

Li'an conjures up three fiery rays, each aimed with precision at a specific spot. As the magic melts into the ice, it causes a frozen bubble to expand violently and crack snaking out from where it once was into the surrounding ice. She steps back, satisfied with her work, and signals for Unafe to take action.

Unafe leaps into the air, her muscles coiled. With two swift punches, the icy prison trembles, and an enormous crack laces its way across its surface. The sound echoes through the cavern, a harbinger of hope for the prisoners within.

As the cracks begin to build, Myrna takes a deep breath, growing to an enormous size. With a mighty leap, she joins Unafe in assaulting the prison, the impact of her axe shattering the ice with a thunderous crack.

The ice splits, and the army within is abruptly freed. The prisoners rush out, their relief palpable. The once-silent cavern is now filled with noise as the people within begin talking all at once.

But then, a figure steps forward, a tall, blue-skinned Marid. She raises her staff slightly, and the chatter in the room falls silent. Ganymede steps forward, kneeling in reverence. "ქალბატონო ჟალე, ეს გმირები გოლარიონიდან დამეხმარნენ შენს პოვნაში და გადარჩენაში" he says.

Aquan:

"Lady Zhaleh, these heroes from Golarion have helped me find you and save you,"

Lady Zhaleh takes a deep breath, steadying herself after the ordeal of being trapped in the icy prison. Despite the shock, she maintains her composure, her regal bearing a testament to her status as a Noble Marid. She regards the heroes with a piercing gaze, her blue eyes shining with wisdom and authority.

"I am grateful for your aid in freeing my soldiers and myself from confinement," she begins in a voice that is both commanding and authoritative, speaking perfect Taldane. "I am Zhaleh Setat, Padishah of the Saline Empire, and it is my honor to make your acquaintance."

"Speak, so that I may know the names of those who saved my peoples' lives today," she continues, her voice unwavering. As each of them introduces themselves, she listens with keen interest, committing their names and faces to memory.

"But... I cannot help but wonder," she says, after they have finished. "What brings such valiant mortal heroes to this remote and desolate comet? Surely it is not by chance that you have found your way here. There must be some greater purpose that brings you to this forsaken place."

Li'an breathes a sigh of relief as the ice shatters as Unafe and Myrna's combined efforts render the ice block to shards and shavings, revealing the those entombed were no worse for wear. "Good work!" she says to the group's two resident giants.

"I am Li'an Va'ardalia, Crusader of Mendev and follower of The North Star. It is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Zhaleh, I am glad we were able to free you all without harm. While you are right that we have a greater mission here, I know that when I saw Ganymede and his allies being slaughtered by the servants of the Brackish Emperor, I could not sit idly by. I, however, will allow my friends to explain our reason for coming to this comet." She gives a respectful bow to the Marid then waits for the others to introduce themselves.

Myrna is the first to speak, pushing by the crowds of people to reach her audience with the extraplanar padishah. She is not cowed by the other woman's size, power, or rank, and stands eye-to-eye with her. "Well, Lady Zhaleh," she tells the marid, "We have come here somewhat by surprise. We heard of you only when we met your servant Ganymede, the last survivor of your people on the surface."

She gestures to Unafe, her immense dinosaur-shaped companion. "My companion Unafe Two-Hearted has within her a second spirit. That spirit spoke to us today, and ordered us to come here and save someone named Sara."

While she continues to speak, it's clear in Myrna's voice that she doubts the validity of Goryon's orders, but that she also supports her friend fully. "We came here not knowing anything about this Sara. We came through a glowing purple portal that Goryon summoned especially for this purpose. We have been guided across this rock only by Ganymede, whose life we saved earlier."

"So, Padishah Zhaleh, we saved you because we ourselves are in need. Can you help us find Sara? She is said to be imprisoned somewhere on this comet. We have seen the forces of Ayrzul digging into the comet's surface when we first arrived, and we assume that army is pursuing our own quarry. Do you know anything?"

Hinagiku had paid attention to her companions by ear alone for her gaze still wandered between the multiple entrances of the cave. Yet, sound alone was enough to convey the legendary nature of the feats taking place. The cracking of giant dangling chains, the crashing of an immense block of ice, the roar of fire, the dull sound of the axe and, finally, the soft cracking of the ice and its breaking into pieces.

The chatter of the waking prisoners is what draws Hinagiku from her post as sentry; if there were indeed guardians in these tunnels, they likely would not dare come anymore for fear of their powerful prisoner having been set free.

Slowly standing up to face the freed followers of Zhaleh, Hinagiku walks in a circle around them to join with her own. Her hands lay palm facing the group in a clear sign of peace and her posture is relaxed.

Finally, once she is side by side with Ehren and the others, she gently bows and introduce herself.

”I am Hinata Hinagiku, a humble monk seeking harmony. It is a pleasure to meet you Padishah Zhaleh Setat. Please, let me to add to what my companion has said, we made our way into this prison just now. We have made sure that the guardians who saw us could not follow us, but some could still come. ” In saying this, Hinagiku looks to the tunnels she was watching earlier. ”Time is important and there is danger. The wise say that safety comes in number; as Mrs. Myrna said, this is why we came to help you. If we keep together, I believe we can save your people and Mrs. Unafe’s Sara. And, if the danger here is too great, we know how to leave to the safety of our city, as Li’an said. ”

As Myrna strikes the final blow and the massive block of ice crumbles, Unafe feels the vibrations of it reverberate deep in her chest.

She steps forward, gives a slight bow, and speaks, "Pasishah Zhaleh, it is an honor to meet you. We've heard tales of your great bravery in opposing Kelizandri's cruelty.

"I am Unafe Dau-Galon, clan-liege of the Demetae. Unafe Two-Hearted, in the Taldan tongue." As she speaks, the sacred ancestors and saurian spirits slow their often-chaotic orbit around the clan-liege and orient toward Lady Zhaleh, making a low humming sound. "As my compatriot Myrna says, we were led here by my sacred ancestor, Goryon, to rescue Sara, who is being pursued by Ayrzul's armies as we speak.

"Though we feared any delay in rescuing Sara from Ayrzul's forces, we could not in good conscience ignore your own fate, once we learned of it. And to be honest, I–we–prayed that you might find it in your heart to aid us, as we have aided you."

"The wickedness Kelizandri and his ilk have wrought on the elements is an affront to the Green itself. To oppose him is to fight for the good of all. But as my friends say, he is not our reason for being here. It is only by chance we learned of your people's plight, and by necessity we sought to free you. And yet, if there is any aid you can render, be it knowledge or power, it would be us who are in your debt."

Lady Zhaleh fixes her sharp gaze on the heroes, studying their expressions with a sense of concern etched on her face. Her eyes, deep and wrinkled, convey the wisdom of a very long lifetime of fighting for her people on the Elemental Plane of Water.

"I am not familiar with anyone called Sara," she begins, her voice low and gravelly with fatigue. "But I do know this: the Elemental Lord Ayrzul has sent his hordes to investigate the strange magical power-source that had also drawn Kelizandri's attention to this comet. If the Elemental Lords have taken an interest in this comet, then the signal could be from anything. ...Power beyond our understanding, and it is possible that it may pose a great danger to all of us."

Lady Zhaleh pauses, taking a deep breath. "I owe all of you a great debt. As a Shahzada marid, I am trained in the ancient art of wishcraft. If you wish it, I could grant you safe passage back to your home on Golarion. That would be the safest course of action for you, rather than attempting to face the forces sent by Ayrzul. If that is what you want, all you need to do is wish for it."

Unafe:

Just then, Goryon, Unafe's Second Heart, and ancestor of the Demetae, speaks up within her mind, an urgent hiss, "Na. Unafe, dymuno i Sara gael ei hachub. Gwnewch hynny."

Hallit: "No. Unafe, wish for Sara to be saved. Do it."

Wishcraft is a form of magic (most strongly associated with genies) that taps into different alternative outcomes of reality to bend and reshape the multiverse. It can be unpredictable, and prone to the whims of the Wishcrafter. More powerful wishes that attempt to warp large amounts of reality tend to be more unpredictable in execution.

In general textbooks that discuss Wishcraft suggest that attempting to use it to emulate already well-understood powerful magics tended to have the least chance of unwanted outcomes. In Mendev, for instance, most Miracles are invoked for restorative reasons.

Now that she has made the offer of a wish, you should be very careful how you word or phrase anything you say moving forwards, as she will able to interpret that as constituent parts of a wish.
