Q: How many skeletons does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: Eight. ... ... IT'S IN THE CONTRACT!

I had to look at the scenario (I own it but haven't looked at it at all). Now, I didn't look all that hard or detailed, but there is a skeleton attack here, so I don't know what is going on...
My first thought was that the GM put in the fight because they wanted to, and not because there was one here....

There is a skeleton fight here, however, I rolled iniative with the information I was given on the slide.

I guess that's a no?
Morthak ducks to the side next to Karlos. He jabs at the skeleton, trying to get it's attention and draw it's eyes away from Karlos.
Dagger Aid Another (Karlos) -4 fighting defensively: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 4 = 21

I assume this is enough to know that they are skeletons and have DR/bludgeoning?

Ups, It took me some time to finish the posting and I did no realize that there was a posting between opening the page and submitting my post. Sorry! Consider the skeletons rising during a surprise round.

Yes!

Karlos: you are actually already in melee range of Red, who is the one I aided you against. So your token doesn't need to move (though if the skeleton goes down from your attack you could).
Asgoro
|
I don't think I can get into a position to attack with provoking an attack of opportunity... so I think I will delay my turn until after Grazyra or Tyrek. I could use a ranged weapon, but between my poor dex and penalty for melee, I don't think it would do much for my turn.
Vivian Nimue

Vivian yelps as the skeletons encroach upon her, and she sets Tick tock down before stepping back and away.

I'm guessing Karlos has taken down Blue. If so:

"Well, we handled that quite well, no? Grazyra, Tyrek, before we continue on, allow me to implant a trick in your minds to aid you in battle. False Flanker. It will allow you to potentially hit your enemies easier in combat."

"Thisss soundsss mosst helpful." Tyrek hisses, although he stiffens noticeably when Allure approaches to implant the trick in his mind.

"The dead are restored to their proper state," Morthak muses, as he cleans his dagger and returns it to its sheath.
Morthak examines the skeletons for any equipment that might be of use.

Morthak takes a moment to examine the door to the east for any traps.

GM Baerlie

Morthak declares the door to the east as safe to open. Behind the door you find a large chamber containing a maze of pillars that obscure the far side of the room. Next to the door is a pile of empty saddlebags and three brooms. The wailing is much louder in this chamber and appears to be coming from the door to the south.
Morthak Bonerattle PFS
|
"Hm. Looks like the riders left these here. Wonder what the brooms were for?"
Morthak picks up a broom and looks at the brush to see if it looks like it has been recently used.
"Shall we explore the maze?"
Morthak proposes moving slowly through the maze to check for traps and secret passages. He can make a dedicated perception check every 5 feet, taking 10 for a total of 18. Or he can aid another if that is allowed, which will succeed on a roll of 2 or better. He would grant +4 to someone else's check when successful.
We can also go straight for the sound or explore the whole place.
"Allure"
|
"Yes, let us explore." Not know what weapon(s) would suit the situation better, Allure slings her crossbow across her back and draws her wand and club.
Tyrek Archaos
|
"Letsss find the ssound." Tyrek opinions, uninterested in brooms and other mundane items. "It hurtsss my earsss."
GM Baerlie
|
Morthak scans the area carfully and spots several traps and three switches. The traps are not really dangerous, they are 10-feet-deep pit traps with pillows at the bottom.
all marked on the map
There's also a door at the southern end of the maze. It is locked. The wailing seems to be coming from behind this door.
Asgoro
|
"Nice work, Morthak. Although, these traps don't seem very effective. Why the pillows?"
"I guess we just have to pull all the switches, and the door will open?"
